Buxom Full-On Lip Polish Review

First a fun fact! In 2010 Shiseido acquired Bare Escentuals who also owns bareMinerals, RareMinerals, Buxom and md formulations brands. I find it interesting who owns what brands.

I got this cute sample of the Buxom Full-On Lip Polish in Dolly from Ulta and I’m really glad I got to test it out first.

What’s to love?

I love getting free samples and Ulta is great at sending e-mail offers, you just have to make sure you’re one of the first people there.

The Buxom Full-On Lip Polish is a nice product that gives great shine and comes in 100 different shades. Their marking is cute with a cartoon “babe” for each color.

Dolly is a dark pink gloss that goes on really easily but it was a bit sticky on my lips. The color is beautiful…shiny with specks of gold shimmer in it.

The one issue I have is that it’s a bit too tingly which is funny because I usually love menthol lip gloss. The tingle just keeps going and going and going. Not sure I love that prolonged sensation. I did however appear to plump my lips up a little which was nice.

I think this is a great product for people who love that tingling sensation but I’m not sure I love it enough to buy the full-sized product which is $20.

I’m going to try a little over a cream or matte lipstick too, which might jazz up a duller colorer with some shine.
