I often get puffy eyes in the morning yet I’ve never had the time to place cucumber slices on my eyes however I have a sample of the Origins No Puffery Cooling Roll-On For Puffy Eyes that seems to be a good replacement for the actual vegetable but I have mixed feelings about the applicator.
What’s to love?
This clear Origins gel formula is supposed to instantly de-puff eyes with Cucumber, Yeast Extract and Hoelen Mushroom Extract. The web site also says it’s Ophthalmologist tested.
The packaging is unique in that the top contains a silver ball that is supposed to dispense the product as a roll-on under your eyes. I did have a heck of a time getting the product out the first time I used it. I actually had to squeeze the tube in order to get the gel on the ball and then my silver ball didn’t really roll that well.
I did however like the product. I did feel like it soothed and de-puffed my eyes and it felt nice. The scent is classic Origins earthy which I love too.
Overall I like the product but I’m not crazy about the applicator unless I’m just doing something really wrong. For every use I have to squeeze the tube which then squirts the product out of the side of the roller. It works, it’s just wonky.

Neat product! I generally like roller balls because they don’t tug at your skin but maybe the gel consistency is too thick for a roller ball? Seems like a squeeze tube would have worked better!
Yeah, I do think maybe the gel was too thick, or the ball wasn’t loose enough.
Looks like good product, so bad that packing isn’t the best. 🙂
Looks good; too bad the applicator isn’t perfect. I love Origins products x
I love Origins too!
