Not only is the Bath & Body Works Waikiki Beach Coconut Aqua Cool Aloe Lotion a brilliant shade of green it also smells like Beach Coconut, Pink Passionflower, Saltwater Breeze, Fresh Bamboo & Sun-Bleached Woods.

What’s to love?

This bright green aloe lotion feels amazing on my skin. It has a smooth feeling that’s refreshing and not at all greasy. I think this would feel amazing if you but it in the refrigerator in the Summer too…so cool and refreshing!

The Bath & Body Works Aqua Cool Aloe Lotion also comes in Island White Sand, Fresh Sea Salt Mango and Pink Lily & Bamboo.

The NEW Bath & Body Works Aloe Vera Body Butter has Aloe Leaf, Cucumber Water, Ginger Lily, Gardenia Petals & Soft Woods and it smells amazing!

What’s to love?

I am so happy that Bath & Body Works has an aloe gel in a jar. It’s funny that it’s called a “Body Butter” as I would call it a gel. I am loving that it has aloe and cucumber to soothe skin. This is going to be perfect after the pool this Summer!

I also used a tiny bit on my dry hair and it gave it a bit of a shine!

The Bath & Body Works NEW Cooling Aloe Mist is a neat product that delivers a spray of refreshing aloe!

What’s to love?

The Bath & Body Works Cooling Aloe Mist comes in three scents:

Waikiki Beach Coconut – Beach Coconut, Pink Passionflower, Saltwater Breeze, Fresh Bamboo & Sun-Bleached Woods.

Fresh Sea Salt Mango – Fresh Mango, Sea Salt Breeze, Sunkissed Clementine, Watery Musk & Orange Blossom.

Pink Lily & Bamboo – Wild Lily Petals, Bamboo Leaf, Pink Ginger, Fresh Fig & Sauna Wood.

This product is really neat in that it’s an aerosol. It’s super easy to spray on gives a nice mist of aloe mist & Tahitian Monoi Oil. It made my skin feel amazing and I think it would be great for the beach or pool. The scents are so refreshing and tropical.

ZIRH Men’s Facial Scrub Review

I received a complimentary (free) ZIRH Men’s Facial Scrub to review along with 3 ZIRH Clean Face Wash packets so I put on husband on the duty of testing this out for me. All opinions are my own!

What’s to love?

The ZIRH Men’s Facial Scrub is for Normal and Oily skin and it buffs away dead skin cells for a smoother look. My husband used this for a few days and not only does he love this product, he also smells pretty darn good. The scent is strong and fresh.

The scrub has mild exfoliation but it’s also mild on the face because of the Aloe Vera Leaf Juice. The instructions do say to wait 12 hours after shaving before using and my husband did adhere to that.

The ZIRH Clean Face Wash is very nice too. The face wash has Alpha Hydroxy and Beta Hydroxy Acids to remove dirt, excess oil and dead skin cells and it has a nice light lemon scent. According to my husband, his face felt fresh and clean. I also gave this one a try on my face and it did work really well on dirt and grease.

ZIRH has lots of other products too including a Daily Face Moisturizer, Shave Cream and they have a nice Starter Kit just in time for Father’s Day!

The Balm Stainiac Lip and Cheek Stain Review

I recently got a sample of The Balm Stainiac Lip and Cheek Stain in my Birchbox which I recently restart and I have to say that Stainiac is quite possibly the strangest make-up product that I’ve ever used in a long time and I’m not sure if it’s because I’m old, but it just didn’t work for me.

Here’s the scoop!

First I have to say that I love the Balm products, their eyeshadow is amazing. However this formula was just strange for me. When I first picked up the tube I was perplexed. It looked like bright red aloe vera gel which makes sense because it does have aloe in it.

The product is actually a stain that you can use on your lips or your cheeks and it gets nice reviews. Stainiac is thick and jelly-like and actually very pretty in the tube. As you can see on my hand it’s super thick and after I wiped it off it did have a nice red stain. It had no scent or taste and it did not tingle or sting at all.

However, here’s what happened when I applied it to my lips. It looked a little uneven and chunky and I had problems with it bleeding out a bit. When I wiped it off there was a light red stain but it was not dark enough for my taste. As for my cheeks. Don’t ask. I just made a mess and ended up looking like Raggedy Anne.

Overall I think this is a neat concept and perhaps I’m just inept at applying it. I did end up playing with it for about 10 minutes because it is so pretty. I’m also wondering if the full-sized product has a better doe foot control. Sometimes samples just don’t quite cut it in terms of quality.

Bath & Body Works CocoShea Cucumber Collection Review

I am loving the new Bath & Body Works CoCoShea line which consists of 3 scents. Honey, Cucumber and Coconut.

I picked up 2 products from the Cucumber line today and all I can say is…wow, these are fresh.

The cucumber line really does smell so fresh. I think this one is going to be my new Summer favorite. Here’s what’s in the line.

CocoShea Cucumber Really Refreshing Aloe Gel Lotion – This product is a lotion/gel with a very soothing consistency and because it’s got aloe I can see that it will be great for sunburns too. It has Cocoa Extract, Shea Butter Extract and Cucumber Water and the formula is very light weight. It feels a bit slippery when you first apply it, but then it gets silky. I’m also wondering if it would feel even more refreshing after a little while in the refrigerator.

CocoShea Cucumber Really Refreshing Foaming Scrub – I am such a fan of scrubs and this cucumber one is divine. It’s got a nice rough pumice for cleansing and the gel formula feels so smooth and nice. I used this one on my hand and now they feel so soft.

The CocoShea Cucumber line also includes: Body Lotion, Body Wash and All Over Mist.

Overall I am so excited about having a new cucumber product to add to my beauty routine. This one really is refreshing and cool. Ha! Cool as a cucumber.

Kiss My Face Olive & Aloe Lotion Review

My mother has been using the Kiss My Face Olive & Aloe Lotion for years so I decided to test it out for myself.

What’s to love?

Kiss My Face is an awesome brand that is Cruelty-Free and great for sensitive skin like my mom has. She’s never had any irritation or redness and she uses it on her face and body.

The white formula is fragrance-free although it does have a very mild scent that just smells like lotion if that makes sense.

It really moisturized my skin well and didn’t have a greasy feel at all. I used it on a dry patch on my elbow and it really softened up the skin.

Overall I’d use this lotion for dry Winter skin, I think it’s a great value for the price as the bottle lasts my mom for about 3 months.

The formula is also paraben and phthalate free and it’s Made in the USA.
