I just picked up the Bath & Body Works / White Barn Black Cherry Merlot Collection and I am loving it! The notes on the Black Cherry Merlot are Dark Cherry, Black Raspberry and Sumptuous Merlot. To me it smells like rich dark cherry and it’s wonderful! I love the entire line.
The Bath & Body Works Black Cherry Merlot comes in:
Ultra Shea Body Cream, Moisturizing Body Wash, Fine Fragrance Mist, Foaming Hand Soap, Nourishing Hand Soap, Creamy Luxe Hand Soap, Hand Cream, Concentrated Room Spray, Fragrance Melt, Car Fragrance Refill, Wallfowers Fragrance Refill, Single Wick Candle and 3-Wick Candle.
Overall I am super impressed with these new products and I am so glad that Bath & Body Works created a new body wash!
I just got my hands on the new Bath & Body Works Gingham hand cream and I am thrilled with this scent. According to the Bath & Body Works press release Gingham is officially being released on April 15th in store and online.
Bath & Body Works notes include: Sweet citrus, blue freesia, sweet clementine and soft violet petals.
I find the Gingham to be a sweet fruity floral and I love it. It’s light enough to be worn during the day and it would make a pretty Summer evening scent. The fruit scent is definitely orangey!
Here are the products in the Bath & Body Works Gingham collection.
Fragrance: Eau De Parfum ($39.50), Fine Fragrance Mist ($14.50), Mini Perfume Spray ($12.50) and Diamond Shimmer Mist ($16.50)
Cleansers: Shower Gel ($12.50), NEW Moisturizing Body Wash ($12.50), Whipped Sugar Body Scrub ($16.50) and PocketBac Hand Sanitizer ($1.75)
Moisturizers: Body Cream ($13.50), Body Lotion ($12.50) and Hand Cream ($4.00)
Home Fragrance products: 3-Wick Candle ($24.50) and Wallflowers Fragrance Refill ($6.50)
Also in honor of National Fragrance Day, March 21, Bath & Body Works is releasing a Gingham mini perfume spray preview.

First up the packaging on the new Bath & Body Works line is so cute. It looks like vintage beachy postage stamps and has a very retro feel.
The Waikiki Beach Coconut Milk Body Scrub smells so good too. The scent includes beach coconut, pink passionflower, saltwater breeze, fresh bamboo & sun-bleached woods. To me it smells sweet (but not too sweet) with a beach floral undertone.
The exfoliation is light to medium and super creamy and it gives off some nice fluffy moisturizing bubbles and my skin felt fresh and smooth after I used it. I think this is my new favorite sugar scrub for Spring!
Also be sure to check out my Waikiki Beach Coconut Milk Body Scrub demo on YouTube!
The Bath & Body Works Foody candles are now foaming hand soaps and they are in stores and online! The 5 scents include:
Key Lime Biscotti
Pink Petal Teacake
Cinnamon Sugared Donut
I think my favorite is the Blueberry Crumble and I’m not sure I love the Pink Petal Teacake, it’s a bit too rosie for me! Overall this collection is amazing. Check out my video reveal on YouTube for the full scoop!
So my first question was — What’s a Cherimoya? It’s actually an an edible fruit-bearing species and its secondary name is custard apple.
The Havana Tropical Vanilla & Cherimoya collection includes the Ultra Shea Cream, Body Lotion, Shower Gel, Fine Fragrance Mist and the Protective Hair Perfume which I still need to get.
The notes in this one are tropical vanilla, cherimoya fruit, tiare flower, bergamot and ocean driftwood.
To me this one is a fruity floral with hint of vanilla. I’d describe the scent as a deep and musky. I can definitely detect the orange and vanilla and I think the ocean driftwood give it the musky scent. It’s very nice!
I also love the packaging which is white and blue with an old world island look. I love the postage stamp design too.
You can see me demo entire Island Tropicals collection on YouTube too:
I just got the new Bath & Body Works Nautical Lantern Wallflowers Plug that we got for free with purchase. It also came with a Linen & Lavender Wallflower refill.
I really like the Wallflowers but if you’re new to these plugs there can be a bit of a learning curve — at least there was for me. The first time I used one it was upside down! : )
Before you start you’re going to want to do is remove all of the packaging from your Wallflower Plug and Wallflower including the plastic plug cover. They wrap these suckers really good. There are instructions but they are super tiny and hard to read.
Here’s how you use a Bath & Body Works Wallflower Plug and my demo of the Nautical Lantern Wallflower plug. That’s my toad from Michael’s too in the video!
Now that it’s assembled just plug it in. I use the bottom plug. The scent comes out of the top vent as it heats up and there is a really nice light.
Oh man, oh man, oh man! Since I decided to reformat my YouTube Channel to all demos (shameless plug — you can subscribe here) I decided to organize, declutter and reexamine my Bath & Body Works collection. Marie Kondo seriously needs to kick my ass.
Let’s just say I’m pretty much stocked up in the bath and the body department until about 2073 — of course I’ll turn 103 that year and might need all of those moisturizing products a bit more. Either that or they’ll invent a real working time turner in the next few years and I can just turn back time (now I’ve got Cher in my head) and use up all of this stuff! I wonder if Cher shops at Bath & Body Works. I bet she does.
So how on earth did I acquire over 300 Bath & Body Works product? Yes, 300! It’s actually easier than one might think. Most Bath & Body Works stores are located in the mall and they have really pretty eye catching displays to draw you in — AND the place smells amazing — AND I’m like a bird with a new shiny thing when it comes to Bath & Body Works.
Hypothetical story time — No, this isn’t me (yeah right)!
So there you are (coupons in hand) drooling like a loon over the latest fruity fragrance that you just can’t live without, then your mom says…oooo, this one smells good too and into the blue mesh bag it goes (and you often wonder if those blue mesh bags ever get washed), of course you really don’t care at this point. An ostrich could have popped in that blue mesh bag and you’d still use it! At this point you’re grabbing Ultra Shea Cream like it’s the last loaf of bread on the shelf in a hurricane. Then by the time you reach the back of the store (they always put the check-out in back) your blue mesh bag weighs like 600 pounds and you just know you’re going to need a chiropractic adjustment when this day is over but you hoist that bag up, fork over your cash and leave with a big dorky smile on your face.
So let’s just say my collection has bloomed and blossomed and over run my house like weeds over the years and I ended up cramming it into every crevice of my house, but I’m cured now, kind of, OK, not really. I’m still going to Bath & Body Works but I’m going to leave without over filling that blue mesh bag….yes, that’s the plan.
Of course it doesn’t help that they get new must-have products every single season and you can bet I’m there loading up on new scents. Tutti Dolce? Hot Cocoa & Cream? Cinnamon Pumpkin Spice? Admit it, every single one of you buys a new Cinnamon Pumpkin Spice every single year because of all that pretty packaging!!!! Well played Bath & Body Works, well played.
If you want to oooo and ahhhh and spy on my outrageous collection (you know you want to) check it out on YouTube and wish me luck! From now on I am ONLY getting a few things to demo on YouTube. No more huge collections. I swear on Marie Kondo’s tiny container collection. For real. Really. NO REALLY!
The Bath & Body Works CocoShea Honey Shower Jelly has been a favorite of mine since I discovered it a few years ago. I pick one up every once in a while because it does wonders on dry Winter skin. It has vitamin-packed cocoa butter and rich, moisturizing shea butter.
What’s to love?
This CocoShea Shower Jelly is pretty thick and I am easily able to grab scoop on my bath pouf. The lather is amazing and so soft and the scent is out of this world. It has a very distinctive honey scent that lingers after a bath of shower. It’s also pretty fun to play with!
The price is $16.50 but I got this one on sale as the CocoShea products were 2 for $20 this week and I had a 20% off coupon which brought the price down to $8 so it pays to wait for a sale or coupon.
