Bath & Body Works 2017 Mother’s Day Tote

Today I picked up the Limited-Edition Bath & Body Works Mother’s Day Tote. The tote costs $30 (over $107 value) with any $30 Bath & Body Works purchase.

You can choose a gray tote with a light green mini bag that says “Hello” or a Pink tote with a light pink mini bag that says “Shine On”. I chose the gray bag, it also has a light green liner.

It says on the Bath & Body Works site that you can purchase through May 14th, 2017.

Here’s what you get in the bag:

  • Blushing Pink Rose Petals 3-Wick Candle (14.5 oz)
  • At the Beach Ultra Shea Body Cream (8 oz)
  • Vanilla Flower Hand Soap with Olive Oil (10 fl oz)
  • Warm Vanilla Sugar Bath Fizzy (4.6 oz)
  • Heart of Gold (Berry Sweet) Hand Cream (1 fl oz)
  • Heart of Gold (Berry Sweet) PocketBac (1 fl oz)
  • Glittering PocketBac Holder

The bag is a good quality vinyl and very sturdy, I’m going to use it as a beach bag this Summer. I love the contents and think it’s a great deal as I needed to get some more foaming hand soap so that easily got me to my $30 for purchase.

Bath & Body Works A Thousand Wishes Bath Fizzy Review

A few days ago I did a review and video about the brand new Bath & Body Works Bath Fizzes and I wanted to do a more extensive review based on some of the questions I got so I decided to review the A Thousand Wishes Bath Fizzy.

The round bath fizzies are about the size of a pool ball and appear to be machine made. They are uniform in size, color and design, unlike Lush which are all handmade.

The bath fizzes are very compact and dense and the A Thousand Wishes scent has what appears to be some sort of crystals (in gold) on the surface. The crystals do fall off when rubbed.

When the bath bomb fizzy entered the water it immediately started fizzing like crazy. It has got a ton of fizz going on!

I could actually hear to fizz it was so intense. A Thousand Wishes is a bright hot pink and while it did turn my fingers pink while I was holding it the color pretty much washed off when I was done. Most people probably won’t hold the bath fizzy so I doubt staining would be a problem. It did leave a bit of residue in the sink when I was done but that wiped up quickly without staining.

The crystals on the fizzy stayed put while it was fizzing then slowly started to pop off.

Now keep in mind that I was using a sink so the color is probably a bit more concentrated but I don’t think much more, this one is pretty pink. Once the crystals came off they kind of floated on the surface and the water had a bit of an oily feel (my guess is that it’s from the coconut oil) however once I washed and dried my hands they just felt soft and not oily.

The scent did linger for a long time on my skin. I actually had people asking me all day what that gorgeous scent was! A Thousand Wishes has Pink Prosecco, Sparkling Quince, Crystal Peonies, Gilded Amber and Amaretto Crème.

If you’re not a fan of bright colors I would suggest trying Pretty As A Peach as that one has very little color.

Overall I like these bath fizzes because they correspond to Bath & Body Works scent and because I think they are a decent quality. Lush is definitely in a whole other class so I don’t really want to compare them too much.

So far the Bath & Body Works Bath Fizzes are available in A Thousand Wishes, Japanese Cherry Blossom, Love & Sunshine, Pretty As A Peach, Beautiful Day and Magic In The Air, Hello Beautiful, Endless Weekend and Sweet Pea.

I am wondering if they are coming out with more as there’s is one in the Bath & Body Works advertising that is blue with a pink rose and I’m not sure which one that is.

My fingers crossed they have these in the Christmas scents too!

I also created a video where I demo Japanese Cherry Blossom and Love & Sunshine.

I also copied the ingredient list off of the A Thousand Wishes bath fizzy…

New Bath & Body Works Almond & Vanilla Scent Review

I am so excited about the New Bath & Body Works Almond & Vanilla Scent. I just got a great haul and I want to share what I got today.

Bath & Body Works has four new scents including Almond & Vanilla, Jasmine & Green Apple, Lavender & Sandalwood and Wildberry and Chamomile.

The new packaging is cute and simple with mauve and brown almonds drawn on a neutral background. The Almond & Vanilla products have natural almond oil in them too.

What’s to love?

If you love almond (like me) this could be your new favorite scent. I am crazy about this one. The top notes are Juicy Orange, Fresh Lemon, Pink Pepper , Hazelnut. It is a sweet scent with a musky zing. To me it also smells incredible fresh.

I picked up four of the six products in Almond & Vanilla including…

Almond & Vanilla Bath Fizzy – These white bath fizzies look really nice. They are about the size of a hockey puck and pretty compact. I’m excited to try one. Price: $7.50

Almond & Vanilla Whipped Body Butter – This new whipped body butter smells amazing and is so soft and fluffy. It is a light beige color (not white) and has Shea butter, coconut oil and vitamins B, C & E. It does not feel greasy or oily to me and it absorbed quickly into my skin. Price: $15.50

Almond & Vanilla Clay Body Scrub – I think this is my new favorite Bath & Body Works product, here’s a full review on my blog. Price: $15.50

Almond & Vanilla Body Cream – This is the Bath & Body Works Signature Body Cream and the new scent makes it even better. It has natural almond oil, Shea butter, aloe and cocoa butter. I love using this on my legs after shaving. Price: $13.00

They also have Shower Gel and Fine Fragrance Mist in Almond Vanilla.

I had a 20% off coupon and the signature items are buy 2, get one free or buy 3 get 2 free right now so I got a great deal too.
