I got a free 1.4 fl.oz. sample tube of the Aveda Beautifying Body Moisturizer when I picked up a new bottle of the Brilliant Conditioner for my mom and I have mixed feelings about it.
I am a huge fan of the Aveda scents and this one is pretty too. It has certified organic shea butter and olive, soy and safflower oils with rosemary, lavender, bergamot and other pure flower and plant essences.
Beautifying is not quite as strong as the Shampure scent but it still has a bite and the scent is a bit different…it kind of smells like earthy, mossy flowers. I can’t decide if I love it yet but I don’t hate it at all.
The creme is very heavy and moisturizing. I feel like this will be great for Fall or when my hands are really dry. I don’t see it as a Summer cream.
Overall I think it’s nice but I don’t think I’d buy the full-sized version as the Rosemary Mint is more of my Aveda favorite.
