Lush Rose Bombshell Egg Demo & Review

So far every single product that I’ve tried in the Lush Spring 2019 line is amazing and the Rose Bombshell Egg is no exception.

What’s to love?

First up the Rose Bombshell is huge! As you can see in my hand. It comes in two split halves and it’s tied up with a brown paper ribbon.

The center is hollow and is filled with dried rose petals and salt and the scent it pure rose.

In my YouTube demo I used the bottom half with the roses and salt. This one floats like a boat and is a very fast fizz. Once the bottom breaks through the water pops the rose petals up. It’s super cool to watch.

The water from the Lush Rose Bombshell Egg turns a milky opaque light pink and it does leave a pink ring in the tub. I did find in fairly easy to rinse out.

The price is $9.95 and is a superb deal for how much product you get.

Bath & Body Works recently released a new line of hair masks and they are just amazing! They also have a CocoShea Honey Hair Mask in their lineup.

Each of the new Hair Masks has its own properties including:

Intense Repair – Coconut, protein & vitamin E.

Shine – Hibiscus & a vitamin-rich complex.

Strengthening – Bamboo, biotin & protein.

Smoothing – Avocado & a vitamin-rich complex.

Nourishing – Banana & a vitamin-rich complex.

Price: $10.50 but it’s best to buy when they are Buy 2, Get 1 free and use a 20% off coupon.

The CocoShea Honey Mask has cocoa butter & shea butter and is $8.50.

My favorite masks are the Intense Repair and Bamboo. These masks do leave my hair smooth and conditioned. I also love the scent of the CocoShea.

Create An Erupting Volcano with the Lush Volcano Fun!

If you’re look for some good clean kid fun look no further than the Lush Volcano Fun kit! This shampoo, soap and bubble bath combo is so much fun to play with!

The scent is tangerine, Ylang, Ylang, Lavender oil, Fennel oil and popping candy for even more fun!

You get a block of dark grey Fun that you can mold into a volcano mountain. Then add red, orange and yellow Fun as the fire and flames!

Finally, you get a mini red, orange and yellow (star) bath bomb to place in the center for the lava!

The volcano was pretty easy to create, the key is to not have holes in the base of the volcano or the water runs out. That happened to me. I wish they would make this in a mega roll so that we could make an even bigger volcano. It was so much fun!

The fizzing lava is the best part! Watch my YouTube video to see it in action.

4 Fabulous Mascara Picks For Spring 2019

I love mascara! It’s a daily staple for me and I’m alway trying new brands and formulas. I’m also a bit of a germaphobe so I swap out mascara after 30 days which means price is a factor for me. So far for Spring 2019 these 4 picks are making up my mascara hot list!

From Right to Left…

ColourPop BFF Volumizing Mascara – The BFF mascara comes in 7 shades including Magenta which I might have worn in my 20’s! I have the Black on Black which suites me fine. Price: $8 which is a deal!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara – The Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara is on the pricey side at $24 but I received this full-sized tube in my February GlossyBox so all is good. I love that it give my lashes a little curl! It is made in Italy and the metal tube is a work of art!

PUR Fully Charged Mascara – The PUR Fully charged mascara adds a bit of science (and volume) to your lashes. “It’s Mascara Powered by Magnetic Technology that attracts to each individual lash to strengthen, thicken, lengthen and separate for unparalleled performance.” WOW! Price: $22. I got this one in my PUS Mystery bag.

Avon True Color Super Extended Lengthening Mascara – The price is right on this Hypoallergenic formula that won’t clump, smudge, or flake. It does give my lashes some nice length and it has good wear. Price: $8.

Check out these mascara wands!

Lush More Tea And Sympathy Bath Bomb Demo & Review

Lush is hitting a World Series home with the Spring collection and the products continue to impress me! Today I had the chance to demo the Lush More Tea And Sympathy Bath Bomb which is the sequel to the 2017 Tea And Sympathy Bath Bomb which was a fast fizzer. The new version is a very, very slow fizzer!

What’s to love?

This large pink tea pot bath bomb has a green yarn string and a tea label to make it actually look like a pot of tea! Take the string and “dip” you pot into your bath water for an amazing experience.

More Tea And Sympathy has Green Tea Absolute, Neroli Oil and Blue Cornflowers. The bath bomb releases a gorgeous shade of pink and the water turns a light pink.

There’s also a surprise inside! The tea bag in the center of More Tea And Sympathy has Camellia Sinensis; Centaurea Cyanus; Citrus Aurantium Bergamia which make for an even more delightful bath! I am LOVING this one.

Lush Wild Butterfly Bath Bomb Review

Oh man Lush! You are going to kill my wallet for Spring. The Lush 2019 Spring line is amazing and the first thing I tried is the Wild Butterfly Bath Bomb.

This orange and yellow butterfly is not only magical but it smells so good with Sweet Orange Oil and Oil Leaf Absolute. Just wow! Total sensory overload in a good way.

The water form Wild Butterflies is a bright orange but I didn’t get any staining on my fingers. It’s a medium fizz with orange and yellow trails. Wild Butterflies is only $5.25 and I am going to stock up on this one.

See my demo on YouTube and be sure to sub for the rest of the Lush 2019 Spring collection!

5 Pretty Pink Nail Polishes For Spring!

I’m pulling out the pink nail polish as we near Spring and here are a few of my favorites! I love pink nails because I feel like it lasts longer and is easy to touch up, of and of course it soooooo pretty!

Morgan Taylor in Plumette With Excitement – This was part of the Spring 2017 Beauty & The Beast Collection. Plumette With Excitement has a white base and is a light opaque pink. Morgan Taylor also has a really pretty dark pink called Be My Guest.

Julep in Stacie – This shade is  Autumn Rose Crème but I love this deep pink for Spring!

OPI Classic Nail Lacquer in Cozu-melted in the Sun – This shimmery pink looks so pretty in the sun, go figure!

Essie High Class Affair – This is a amorous blush nude with a very small hint of pink. Perfect for weddings and classy affairs!

Avon Gel Finish in Dazzle Pink – This 7-in-1 nail enamel from Avon dries shiny and does not need a top coat. It is a pretty light pink with a touch of shimmer.

Lush Karma Komba Shampoo Bar Review

I’ve been using the Lush Shampoo Bars now for almost two years and my favorites up until now have been Jumping Juniper, Seanik and Montalbano but now I think I have a new favorite and it’s the green Karma Komba!

First up I wanted to show what a shampoo bar looks like dry when you first bring it home from Lush, it basically looks like a hockey puck.

What’s to love?

Now normally I’m not a fan of Patchouli Oil so that’s why I waited so long to get Karma Komba but I’ve heard so many good things I just had to try it.

While It does have a slight Patchouli Oil I don’t think it’s that strong and you also get  Sweet Orange Oil, Lavendin Oil, Lemongrass Oil, Elemi Oil and Gardenia Extract so it does have its own unique sent.

However what I love about Karma Komba is that it makes my hair shine. I’ve got big, curly hair and it tames it really too. This is definitely my new favorite.

Price: $11.95

Bath & Body Works 100% Raw Coconut Oil Review & Demo

I didn’t even realize that Bath & Body Works had a raw coconut product so I was pleasantly surprised when I found the Bath & Body Works 100% Raw Coconut Oil as part of the CocoShea line.

The formula is just raw coconut oil and it is super moisturizing for my dry feet and elbows but a bit too oily for my skin. The scent is also just raw coconut with no added fragrance.

I created a video demo on YouTube!
