That's My Opinion

Welcome To My Make-Up Table (here’s how I organize my beauty products)

I’ve been wanting to do this post for a long time. I love seeing how everyone organizes their make-up and beauty products so I thought I’d share my set-up.

I have a nice table in my bedroom that holds most of my cosmetics. I have a lot of acrylic holders and bins to store things. I also found a nice light-up mirror on Amazon that has a base that holds more stuff. The palettes on the left are the ones I use everyday, I switch these out every few weeks.

The large boxes on the right hold my Ipsy bags and flat samples.

This month I am using the IT Cosmetics Superhero Luxe Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Palette, the New It Girl PaletteUrban Decay Afterdark Eyeshadow Palette and the Laura Geller Best Of Baked Palette. The rest of my palettes are stored on the right in the polka-dot bin.

I then organize my products by type…brow liners, eye liners, lipstick, etc. I try to watch expiration dates too so that I can toss old products.

As a beauty blogger who gets a lot of beauty boxes I tend to get loaded up on samples so I sort those into bins. One bin is for things I keep (which is way too much) and they other bin is for donating to my friends and family. I share a lot of products with my Aunt, MIL and mom. They are over 60 and have so much fun grabbing up my samples.

I also have an embarrassingly large collection of Julep nail polish that I sort on a stand by shades. It’s taken me about 2 years to collect this much and most of it was from the Mystery Boxes which was a great deal.

I keep Bath & Body Works products I use everyday on my dresser. I’m really love the French Collection from last Spring right now.

I keep my Lush craft boxes on the table behind my computer. You can see these in most of my YouTube videos! PS – Feel free to subscribe to my YouTube Channel, I do lots of beauty unboxings and hauls!

Finally I have a large bin that holds my newest beauty box products on my desk. These are the things that I need to review for this blog!

So there you have it! I have plans to get even more organized. Please do share your tips with me too.

What’s New In Beauty For March 2017?

Happy March 1st! Everywhere I look there seems to be new cosmetic products popping up so I did a little digging and found 5 new beauty products that are launching in March.

Which products do you want to try first?

The Too Faced Peanut Butter & Honey Eyeshadow Palette features  brown, gold and amber and seems to be a continuation of their Peanut Butter & Jelly Palette. I like the sparkly Bee’s Knees shade so much. Price: $36

Next up from Too Faced is the Natural Love Eye Shadow Collection that’s coming on March 9th. These shades look amazing to me. I love the pink shades in this palette and the purple Love Bug looks pretty too. Price: $59

Too Faced has been busy this Spring! They are also releasing their Turn On You Love Light Heart shaped highlighters in March.

Jeffree Star is also releasing the new Androgyny palette on March 4th which looks to be very pretty. These deep pigmented shades look amazing.

Mac Cosmetics has a new In The Flesh eyeshadow palette with 15 beautiful neutral shades. It launches March 2nd.

5 Stellar New Eyeshadow Palettes For 2017

There are a couple of new eyeshadow palettes that I really want to get my hands on in 2017 from Kat Von D, Jeffree Star, Tarte and Urban Decay.

I love that the 2017 beauty trends are so unique and creative. I’m never bored with beauty!

Kat Von D Alchemist Holographic Palette – This one is sold out at Sephora and online at Kat Von D and I’m hoping it comes back in stock soon. There’s something so mesmerizing and pretty about these holographic shades. What’s cool about this palette is that you can build on black or brown for an entirely new look.

Kat Von D Pastel Goth Eyeshadow Palette – Kat has been busy in a good way with another stellar palette! Pastel Goth has got some amazing looking matte shades that I’d love to try out.

Jeffree Star Androgyny Palette – I have yet to try anything from Jeffree Star but I really want to try one of his palettes so I figure I’ll try to get the new Androgyny palette that’s coming out in March. It’s supposed to be a “neutral palette” with a twist!

Tarte PRO Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette – I have been on a huge Tarte kick lately. I use my Tarte Energy Noir Clay Eye Shadow Palette all the time and I’m excited to add more Tarte shades to my collection. I love the shimmer shades in this palette.

Urban Decay After Dark Palette – I love jewel tones and the Urban Decay After Dark palette is loaded with shimmery color. Those purple shades are calling my name!
