Your Best Friend Beauty Lovely Liquid Lustrous Lippies Review

I received a complimentary (free) Lovely Liquid Lustrous Lippies Set from Your Best Friend. All opinions are my own.

These NEW Lovely Liquid Lustrous Lippies come in a set of two and there are two color choices. Nudes and Berries. I have the Berries set which are Romantic Raspberry and Passionate Plum. The Nudes are Blissful Beige and Pink-Me-Up Pink.

What’s to love?

I found that these high-shine lippies dry to a beautiful high gloss finish. The glosses were super easy to apply and with the doe foot flat wand. The creamy formula is super moisturizing and not sticky and the color is amazing.

They also have a nice berry scent and taste that I really liked!

I found both shades to be highly pigmented and bright for a gloss, it’s more like a lipstick in coverage. The Romantic Raspberry is more of a pink, while Passionate Plum is deeper. I got decent wear from both shades for a gloss and had no bleeding.

Your Best Friend Fall in Love Lipstick & Lip Gloss Duo Review

I received a complimentary (free) set of the Your Best Friend Fall in Love Lipstick & LipGloss Duo and it’s simple beautiful. All opinions are my own!

The ybf duos come in four shades: Bloomin’ Berry, Kissable Coral, Passionate Pink and Red. I have the Bloomin’ Berry and my Lip Gloss is Rockin’ Raspberry.

What’s to love?

First up, the packaging so so classy and useful. The lipstick comes in a black tube with a neat trick! When you pull out the lipstick a mirror pops up which I love. It’s so great to have a mirror on the run for applying lipstick. I also like the gem on the case, it’s very unique.

The lipstick itself is a beautiful dark rich berry and one of my favorite shades. It’s a cream and applies very smoothy with great pigmentation and it has a light vanilla scent.

The lip gloss is so pretty too. It’s a raspberry metallic and I applied a bit over my lipstick for a deep glossy look. The gloss can be worn alone too and it has a nice doe foot for easy application. The scent on the gloss is a light berry fruit.

As you can see from the swatches the color of the lipstick is a wonderful dark berry and the gloss is a bright metallic raspberry. I am thrilled with both products as they are very moisturizing and feel amazing on my lips.

Both products are Paraben -free. Your Best Friend products are also infused with Smart Active Immune Complex and enriched with extracts from the earth to make skin look radiant and younger looking.

Revlon Insta-Blush Review

When I was at Ulta yesterday I also picked up the new Revlon Insta-Blush stick. I have quite a few of these blush/highlighter sticks and I use them on a daily basis.

What’s to love?

To me these sticks are such a convenience and so easy to use. The Revlon Insta-Blush comes in 4 colors including Nude Kiss, Candy Kiss, Rose Gold Kiss and Berry Kiss which is the one I bought.

The stick is a matte finish that feels very dry and smooth, almost like a powder after I applied it which is interesting because after I tried it I did read that it’s a “cream-to-powder formula”, which I found to be true.

The pigmentation I’d say is medium, it gives what I’d call a more translucent finish which is what I want in a blush and it’s very blendable. I could also see using the Rose Gold Kiss shade as a highlighter.

The packaging is nice with a clear top and twist-up design and it has a light clay scent that does not bother me. It’s made in the USA.

Overall I am pretty impressed with this product. I love how dry it feels. I actually have a high-end blush stick that feels more greasy which I don’t like as much.

Urban Decay Vice Mini In Venom Review

I got an Urban Decay Vice Mini from Sepora for 100 points in Venom and it’s so adorable. As part of my beauty obsession I also like collecting unique packaging. This Vice mini has exactly the same gunmetal case as the full-sized only it’s tiny.

What’s to love?

The Urban Decay Vice Lipstick is one of my all time favorite lipsticks and it comes in over 100 shades including this one which is Venom and has a cream finish.

Venom is a deep, dark berry with a hit of purple and it has a very commanding look. It’s descried as “Bright Plum” which I would have to agree with and even though it’s a cream it has a slight gloss. It’s not a matte.

I would recommend a liner because it’s easy to goof up your top lip as you can see in the photo. The pigmentation is amazing too. This one has great staying power and it did leave a bit of a stain when I removed it which I don’t mind. This color is a bit dark for me as far as an everyday lipstick but I think it would look amazing for a nighttime party. It feels very goth to me.

I’m excited to add this “mini” to my collection!
