Being the big Star Wars nerd that I am I was thrilled to see that Cargo Cosmetics has a new Star Wars collection that includes 4 collectible mirrors. I saw them up close and personal at Kohl’s today and I’ve added the Princess Leia to my Christmas list.
There are 4 designs including:
Leia Organa
BB-8
Rey
Captain Phasma
I took one our of the box at Kohl’s and the artwork is really beautiful. I’d love carrying this around in my purse or make-up bag and they are neat collectors items for people (like me) who are huge Star Wars fans.

Emerald City “Enjoy Your Journey” Travel Eye Shadow Palette
This stunning palette has all my favorite shades. There arec ool and warm neutral shades that blend very nicely together. You get 4 shimmery warm browns and 2 matte bases.
I received a Cargo Cosmetics Swimmables Water Resistant Blush in my July 2017 Allure Beauty Box. I have the Bali (Medium Rose Pink) shade but it also comes in Ibiza (Shimmering Hot Pink) and Los Cabos (Soft Tangerine).
What’s to love?
First up I love the tin that this blush comes in. It’s sturdy and fits perfectly in my purse.
The blush itself is a powder that feels like a cream to me thanks to the Silicone-coated pigments which also help withstand water for extended wear.
It also has…
L-Lysine, an amino acid found naturally in the skin, helps increase the blush’s long-wearing and water-resistant properties.
I love how this formula looks on my face. It’s smooth and did hold up well in the pool. I didn’t dive or anything, but did get splashed.
It is on the pricey side at $26 though.

The Cargo Around The World palette has 6 matte and 6 shimmer shades all in neutral tones and you get an average quality duel-ended brush. The case is cardboard covered and you do get a nice mirror.
From left to right you have: Rome, Paris, Tokyo, London, Amsterdam, New York, Shanghai, Moscow, Athens, Dublin, Madrid and Toronto. I think it’s neat to have the shades match a city name too.
The shades themselves are nice but the pigmentation varies from shade to shade. The shimmer shades are much smoother than the matte ones. My favorite shade is New York on the far right which is a pretty dark brown.
I found the staying power to be average. They didn’t last all day but I found them to be good for about 4-5 hours.
I think this is a nice daily-wear palette if the colors are appealing to you.
Overall I’m not sure I would have bought this palette because it wasn’t on my radar but it was very cool to get in my Beautycon Box.
