The new Bath & Body Works Snowy Citrus Swirl is part of the Christmas 2019 collection and it’s amazing! The notes are chilled tangerine, whipped marshmallow, creamy tonka bean & fresh vanilla.
I love this scent because it’s so fresh and clean. It reminds me of the oranges people used to put in Christmas stockings. It’s also perfect for both men and women and it a great morning “wake-up” fragrance.
Be sure to check out my review of the Bath & Body Works Snowy Citrus Swirl on YouTube too!
The Lush Here Comes The Sun Naked Body Cream is part of the newer Lush Naked Collection which means there’s no packaging and it’s also part of the Lush Easter 2018 Collection.
Here Comes The Sun is not a body conditioner but a body cream which means that it has a much thicker consistency that does feel like a cream. The cream is actually a pretty dark orange but it didn’t stain my skin.
Here Comes The Sun has St. John’s Wort Infusion, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Organic Avocado Oil, Mandarin Oil, Tangerine Oil, Bergamot Oil and Fresh Orange Juice. The scent is straight up citrus and you can really smell the orange. I love the fresh scent.
My skin did feel very conditioned after I use Here Comes The Sun and it smoothed a few of the dry spots on my Winter hands.
As part of my Lush Father’s Day Haul I picked up a Pop In The Bath Bubble Bar and I had some mixed results on this one.
The funny thing is when I ordered Pop in the Bath I thought it was going to be purple with a blue flower but I got a blue one with a pink flower which was fine, just peculiar.
The second odd thing about this bubble bar was that it’s extreme soft, almost like play-doh. Now I’ve tired about 20 bubble bars from Lush and this is my first experience with a soft one so I’m not sure if this one is just softer or this is just an anomaly.
The good news is that it performs just like a regular bubble bar. It had lots of creamy bubbles and smells like citrus (lemon and mandarin) which I love. It also leaves the tub will a pretty dark blue-purple water.
Overall I like Pop in the Bath but next time I’m in the store I want to check these out. Has anyone else every gotten a soft bubble bar?
Now that Summer is approaching I’ve been digging through my Bath & Body Works Ultra Shea collection for some Summer scents and I’m newly in love with White Citrus!
What’s to love?
White Citrus is one of those classic scents that I keep coming back to. It’s a mix of crisp citrus & water lily and it’s fresh and pretty.
White Citrus is available in Gentle Foaming Hand Soap, Shower Gel, Deep Cleansing Hand Soap, Body Lotion, Fine Fragrance Mist and the Ultra Shea Body Cream.
I love the packaging on this one too, that light green and white just makes me happy!
I think that the Lush Over And Over Bath Bomb is my new favorite! This citrus wonder is about the most colorful Lush Bath Bomb I have used lately and it smells amazing!
What’s to love?
The new orange, yellow and pink Lush Over And Over has Lime Oil, Cypress Oil and Orris Oil with Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter.
This one was so easy to cut open too. It reminds me a bit of the Golden Egg in the way it cuts. The inside is a gorgeous hot pink.
Over And Over feels a lot more creamy than fizzy when it melts. You can see the really brilliant colors popping off below. They swirl into the water creating a really pretty orange shade when mixed together.
This one made my skin feel amazing and the smell lingers for a bit. I still can’t get over how much I love the scent on this one. It’s pure orange and lemon. I really want to stock up. I do get two uses because I cut them in half too.
Price: $8.95
In my video I compare theLush Over And Over Bath Bomb to the new Bath & Body Works Fizzes and I do love them both!
*and yes I accidentally call Over And Over the Over And Under in my video! Oops…it does look like Over And Under though : )
I have been a fan of the London based Gilchrist & Soames since the 80’s but haven’t picked anything up from them lately so I was thrilled to get the BeeKind Body Lotion in my April Glossybox. I also got the shower gel too.
What’s to love?
First up Gilchrist & Soames products contain no products parabens, phthalates, petrol-derived ingredients, mineral oil, urea, DEA, TEA, DMDM hydantoin, or propylene glycol.
But I love this body lotion because it smells like limes! It actually has Fresh lemon verbena but to me it smells limey. They formula is amazing too. It’s non greasy and it absorbs quickly while leaving behind the amazing citrus scent. I could really smell this stuff all day!
I also have fond memories of getting Gilchrist & Soames when I was a teenager. For some reason it reminds me of Duran Duran…go figure! I probably picked up some of their soap with my girlfriends and Duran Duran was playing at the mall. It’s just one of those brands I get nostalgic for. Oh and that green bee is so cool too.
Also check out my Glossybox video with the BeeKind Lotion and Shower Gel.
The Lush Sunrise Soap is shaped like the Igloo one from last Christmas and it has dove orchid, organic silken tofu, sweet syrupy coconut blossom nectar and a floral marigold infusion which makes for a wonderful citrusy scent.
This is also so luxurious and smooth. It also feels a bit softer than most Lush glycerine soaps but that might just be mine. They lather on this one is great and my hands felt amazing after using it.
I might just pick another one of these up if I make it back to the Lush store.
You can also see this soap in my Lush Mother’s Day Haul video!
I did a little Lush Easter Haul today and I picked up the Chick ‘N’ Mix Bath Bomb which is huge! This bath bomb is about 1/2 times bigger than a standard bath bomb and it’s so cute.
What’s to love?
Chick ‘N’ Mix is actually 3 separate pieces. The head is yellow, the bottom is blue and the “yolk” is orange.
All three pieces smell so good. Chick ‘N’ Mix has a citrus scent and although he’s a bit more dusty than a one piece bath bomb I found him to be very sturdy. I didn’t have any problems with breakage.
I tried out the orange “yolk” and the color was a brilliant orange and my hands felt very soft after using him. This one does have Dark Chocolate (Sugar, Cacao Fat, Cacao Powder) eyes that melt in the tub as you bathe which is pretty cool.
Overall I really like this bath bomb as a gift for Easter, it’s cute, unusual and sure to get lots of compliments. I’m hoping I get another one!
Price: $10.95
Check out Chick ‘N’ Mix in my video although I called it Chick-A-Dee…oops! and it ends up my nose…lucky for me it smells amazing!
Oh Bath & Body Works, you do this to me every time. I walked into the store to get the Oahu Coconut Sunset collection and I end up filling up my bag. Yesterday they had a wall of the Paradise Coconut Oil Foaming Hand Soap that really got my attention and I had coupons. I LOVE theBath & Body Works foaming hand soap so much and now there’s a new line with Coconut Oil and it’s amazing.
What’s to love?
Every sink in our house has the Bath & Body Works foaming hand soap. It smells amazing and does wonders on my hands as it has Aloe, Vitamin E and now Coconut Oil. I also prefer the foaming variety because it washes clean with no goopy residue. This is great for kids.
This new Coconut Oil set comes in 6 scents:
Miami Mint Mojito – This one is green and has a lime on the front. I think this is my favorite scent of the 6. I has fresh lime, juicy pear and green mint leaf.
Maui Mango Mai Tai – This one is my favorite design. It’s orange with a bird on the front and I love birds. It Mango nectar, sun-kissed grapefruit and sugarcane and while I don’t normally love mango the scents make this one so nice.
Bali Coconut Cove – This one is blue with a coconut on the front. It has fresh coconut, passion flower and coral berry. This one smells very coco-nutty to me!
Jamaica Pineapple Colada – Pineapple is one of my new favorite scents. This one is yellow and has juicy mandarin, green pineapple and vanilla milk. It’s very light and pretty.
Bermuda Plumeria Surprise – This one is pink and the most floral of the group. It’s got pink dragonfruit, orchid and plumeria.
Fuji White Sands – This is the only one I didn’t get. It’s clear and has white sand, vanilla orchid and warm amber. I did smell it and it’s very soft and beachy.
Overall I think this is my new favorite scent collection since Christmas. Also don’t forget to use your Bath & Body Works coupons with the sales for a bigger discount.
I reveal all of the Coconut Oil soaps in my video!
The funny thing about Each Peach is that it doesn’t smell like peach but it leaves my skin feeling as soft as a peach. Each Peach actually has a nice citrus scent from the lime oil, sweet wild orange oil, mandarin oil and grapefruit oil.
To use the Each Peach Massage Bar you just rub the bar onto dry skin and use it as a lotion. It melts very nicely into my skin. I’ve also used it in the shower and after a bath. It’s really a solid lotion that you can use any way that works best for you.
The ingredients include Shea butter, avocado butter and Mango Kernel Butter to moisturize skin. After I use this product my skin always feels silky and smooth and I like the strong citrus scent it leaves behind.
It is also a vegan product.
Price: $11.95
