The ColourPop Disney Villains Collection Review

This week I picked up 3 of the ColourPop Disney Villains set and the Disney Villains Misunderstood Palette from Ulta and I am thrilled!

The collection consists of — 6 Disney Villain sets which each include a Lux Lipstick, Ultra Glossy Lip, and Super Shock Highlighter. I picked up Cruelle, Maleficent and Ursula. The art on these packages is amazing!

The lipstick shades tend to but on the dark side but you can layer the Ultra Glossy Lip gloss on top for a buildable look.

Separately you can purchase the the Disney Villains Misunderstood Palette (which I got) and 6 Jelly Much eyeshadow and 2 Glitterally Obsessed sparkle shades.

So far I am loving the palette it’s much darker than the ColourPop Disney Princesses Palette. You can see my vs. video below!

Overall I am loving the entire collection as it’s prices very reasonable — the sets are $25 and you can use your Ulta $3.50 coupon. I am also loving the versatile looks I can get with both the shadows and the highlighters. All the products are buildable and beautiful!

Yay for the Disney Villains! The entire Villains PR collection set is $250, oh how I’d love this!

My 5 Favorite ColourPop Lippies! #TBT

I am a huge fan of the ColourPop Lippies do I decided to bring some back for Throw Back Thursday! Being over 40 it’s sometimes hard to find liquid lipstick that doesn’t make my lips dry and I’ve found that ColourPop really does the trick to make my lip look soft and pump.

Screen Shot 2018-03-01 at 4.55.23 PM.png

My ColourPop 5 favorite Lippies from left to right are…

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Notion – Notion is an older shade that’s now in the “It’s Vintage” collection is a nice dusty burgundy and a great shade with bronze eyeshadow or for Halloween!

ColourPop Ultra Stain Lip in Strip – Strip is a warm beige with a lighter pigment that looks so pretty on casual days.

ColourPop Ultra Stain Lip in London Fog London Fog is also a a Stain Lip product and the pinky red matte shade is so pretty for Spring.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Airplane ModeThis shade is similar to Strip in that it’s a nude but this one has a bit more pigment and is slightly rosier.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in TuesdayTuesday is a bright coral red that I’ve brought back for Spring! I actually got this one and Airplane Mode in my April 2017 Glossybox but I never had a chance to use them and I want to use them up before the one year expiration date.

#TBT You can see Airplane Mode and Tuesday in my April 2017 Glossybox video unboxing!

ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip Review

I received a ColourPop Ultra Satin Liquid Lippie in my Summer 2017 Beautycon Box. I got the London Fog shade which is a pinky red!

What’s to love?

I like the ColourPop Ultra Satin Lippie mush better than the Matte version because it gives me a little bit of shine. However this shade is way too red on me but I’d like to try a nude or plum color next.

The formula is nice and not too drying which I like. I didn’t have any bleeding but the color did wear off a bit when I was eating. I feel like this is a really nice lip product for the price too.

Price: $6

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Lippie Review

I received two full-sized ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Lippies in my April GlossyBox and I’m pretty happy with them. The Ultra Matte Lippies come in 50 shades!

What’s to love?

Being over 40 I have a love/hate relationship with the liquid matte lipsticks in terms of dryness but I have to say that they ColourPop Mattes are quite nice and don’t dry my lips too much.

I received two shades…Airplane Mode which is a nude shade and Tuesday which is a bright pink coral. I prefer the Airplane Mode shade which looks so pretty. Tuesday is way to bright for my fair skin.

The formula on these lippies is super thin. I actually dripped some out of the tube when I was taking my photos. However this didn’t impede the application, in fact I think it made it easier.

Once on the lipstick dries very quickly and I can barely tell it’s there and it has decent staying power. I got about 6 hours worth of wear however it did come off when I ate greasy food and I mean it all came off!

The Ulta Matte also has no scent and the retail price is $6.

You can see me apply the Airplane Mode shade in my video below!

What’s in the April GlossyBox!

Beauty Shampoo & Conditioner – This is actually pretty funny. I didn’t read the paper before I shot my video and I thought “Beauty” was the brand! This is actually a mystery product from Proctor & Gamble that we’re supposed to try and do a survey on. Then GlossyBox will let us know my e-mail what it is.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Lippie – I got 2 full-sized ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Lippies in Airplane Mode and Tuesday. Airplane Mode is a beautiful nude and while the formula is on the thin side it felt and looked great on my lips. The second shade (Tuesday) is a bright pinky coral that’s a little dark for me but still beautiful. Price: $6 each

Gilchrist & Soames BeeKind Shower Gel & Body Lotion – This shower gel and body lotion set smells amazing! It’s infused with nourishing honey and calendula and it smells like lemons! Full-Sized Price: $46

Doucce Maxlash Volumizer Mascara – This has got to be the biggest wand I’ve ever seen and I can’t wait to review this mascara for you! Price: $22

Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator – I’m curious to try this product as it’s got good reviews. Full-Sized Price: $34

Jafra Cosmetics International Paris Et Moi Eau de Parfum – I completely botched the name in my video but this one smells very pretty! Full-Sized Price: $52

Overall I am thrilled with this months box and can’t wait for May!

ColourPop Lippie Stix Review

I must be living under a rock these days because this is my first experience with ColourPop and I am so impressed with the ColourPop Lippie Stix I got in the Winter 2106 Dulce Candy curated Beautycon Box!

cp

What’s to love?

First up the packaging is so pretty. The Stix comes in a white box with silver lettering and the Lippie Stix logo is a hologram. The stick itself is white and the color of the Lippie with an easy to use slanted twist-up.

This amazing Lippie is both creamy and moisturizing with great pigmentation. However I’m not sure what the name of the color is because it’s part of the Beautycon Box. It’s a nice light brownish coral that kind of  looks like the Hype Girl or Cami shades. I love it!

The ColourPop Lippies are also Made in the USA and cruelty free and they smell so good. This one smells like cookies and vanilla sugar.

Overall I am super impressed with the ColourPop Lippie Stix and at just $5 each I see a lot more in my future!
