Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art Review

The Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art duo is so pretty and comes in 10 shades including:

  • Green Glimmer (aqua)
  • Lilac Luster (purple)
  • Black Brilliance (black & white)
  • Cobalt Crystal (multi-shaded blue & white)
  • Peach Prism (peachy cooper)
  • Desert Dazzle (green)
  • Burnished Bling (gold)
  • Topaz Twinkle (light gold)
  • Steel Spark (grey/brown)
  • Midnight Glitz (dark blue & multi-shaded black)

I have the Peach Prism shade which is a nice peachy copper.

What’s to love?

This duel ended liquid can be used on lids, as a liner and even on lashes which I found to be difficult. One end of the formula is a creamy metallic that goes on super smooth and dries nicely. The other end is a glitter formula that is more patchy but I was able to use it over the cream when it dried.

The creamy metallic has a fuzzy doe foot for application while the glitter side uses a brush that can be used on lashes and as a liner.

Overall I did like this product. It’s pretty, fun and unique.

This is definitely a glittery look but I thought it would be fun for Halloween.

Price: $8.99

SinfulColors Copper Pot Nail Polish Review

I picked up a bottle of SinfulColors Copper Pot today for Halloween although I just found out that this color was from the Spring 2015 St. Patrick’s Day line. But that’s OK, because it looks like Halloween to me and I can’t stop thinking about poor Chester Copperpot from The Goonies now. That’s on my Halloween movie watch list!

What’s to love?

SinfulColors is by far my favorite budget nail polish. I got Copper Pot for $1.49 at Walgreens. It’s Made in the USA and formulated without formaldehyde, toluene and DBP.

Copper Pot is a beautiful mix of brown, silver and gold which gives it that coppery shimmer and shine. The formula is super smooth on application and I used two coats to get full coverage.

I can usually get about 5 days out from my polish job and I am rough on my nails. If I get a chip I just do a quick touch-up.

Milani Bella Eyes Gel Power Eyeshadow Review

I picked up this Milani Bella Eyes Gel Power Eyeshadow when I got my Milani Illuminating Face Powder. I got the Bella Copper shade which is a bronze metallic. This one is PURE shimmer and glitter!

What’s to love?

I had no idea what to expect when I picked this one up at CVS for $4.99. The Milani Bella Eyeshadow lines comes in 31 colors and I want more of these! They are Made in the USA and have zero scent too.

At first I had to get used to the consistency. It’s marketed as a gel that turns into a powder once applied. It does take some getting used to the product. I used a firm eyeshadow brush and got a few flakes at first but once I got more used to the product I was able to blend really well.

The Bella Copper shade I selected  is pure glitter and shimmer which is very pretty. I am wearing only this shadow with the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil and Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara. I think it looks nice with my greenish eyes.

In the Swatch below the first swipe with applied with a wet finger the second swipe is dry. As you can see the wet application is a little bit darker and more pigmented. These are so many layers of color in this shadow too.

This is fast becoming one of my favorite drugstore brands and I definitely want to pick up the Bella Pink and Bella Violet.
