Bath & Body Works NEW Inspire Violet Sandalwood Eucalyptus Essential Oil Roll-On Review

I picked up the new Bath & Body Works Inspire Violet Sandalwood Eucalyptus Essential Oil Roll-On this month and I have mixed feelings about it.

First up, I love roll-on aromatherapy products so I had high hopes for this one. I’ve used Adoratherapy and loved it, so I expected to love this one.

The packaging is beautiful but the actual product is small for $12.50. When I rolled it on my wrist I expected it to be strong. Unfortunately, the scent on this one is really, really light. Almost non-existent.

According to Bath & Body Works Violet Absolute inspires confidence. Sandalwood Oil promotes inner strength. Eucalyptus Oil clears the mind. Which sounds wonderful, I just wish it was stronger. From what I could smell it was nice!

That being said, I love the idea of Bath & Body Works having a roll-on aromatherapy. I’m not sure if I got a dud or if this product is just light. I also ordered the other new one — Serenity which is Marigold RoseMagnolia. Fingers crossed this one is stronger!

Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus Spearmint Smoothing Body Scrub Review

The Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus Spearmint Smoothing Body Scrub is so strong and amazing if you love mint like I do.

What’s to love?

I love the entire Stress Relief line from Bath & Body Works and the Eucalyptus Spearmint scent is one of my favorites.

This creamy foaming body scrub is really strong and I would recommend smelling it before you buy. I happen to love the Eucalyptus Spearmint scent, to me it’s so relaxing.

The scrub is moderately grit and uses walnut shell powder for exfoliation. It’s also got Jojoba Seed Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Spearmint Oil, Orange Oil, Peppermint Oil and Hydrogenated Caster Oil.

It leave my skin silky smooth and the scent does linger for awhile.

Price: $13

L’Oreal PURE-CLAY MASK Purify & Mattify Mask Review

Last week I reviewed the red L’Oreal PURE-CLAY MASK Exfoliate & Refining Treatment Mask and the black L’Oreal PURE-CLAY MASK Detox & Brighten Charcoal Clay Mask. The red clay mask didn’t work for me but the black charcoal mask was amazing. So today I tired the green L’Oreal PURE-CLAY MASK Purify & Mattify Pure-Clay.

What’s to love?

The third mask in the L’Oreal Pure Clay mask line is the green Purify & Mattify Mask. It’s got Eucalyptus to purify and mattify your skin.

The scent of this one is nice too. It’s strong and you can definitely smell the Eucalyptus but I liked it. Upon application this mask did burn my skin a bit, again I think it’s from the Eucalyptus but the burning subsided quickly for me. I could feel this mask tightening my skin which was nice too.

After 10 minutes I washed it off with warm water and while my skin was a bit red it looked clean and tight. The redness went away after a few minutes and my face looked great.

So in order of favorites I like the black charcoal mask best, then the green Eucalyptus mask second and the red algae mask third. I would absolutely buy the black and green masks again.

Price: $12.99

Lush Outback Mate Soap Review

I have been wanting to get my hands on some Outback Mate Soap for awhile now but I forget to order it this time and I haven’t been to my Lush store in awhile but today I got a sample piece in my latest holiday order and I’m thrilled! I must get my hands on this one soon.

om

What’s to love?

The color of Outback Mate soap is amazing. It looks like a geode or the ocean and every piece is different. I love the Lush glycerine soaps and they smell amazing and moisturize my skin so well. Eucalyptus, peppermint and lemongrass oil make up the scent of Outback Mate and it smells amazing both wet and dry. I also did a very unscientific poll in my house and both the men and women love this scent. This might be a great soap to get your guy for Christmas.

One note is that Outback Mate bleeds blue everywhere which I find kind of cool but I wanted to let everyone know that it is a bit messy.

You could seriously just use this soap as art for your bathroom it’s so pretty. I also wanted to share how this soap is made. Lush created a neat YouTube video that really shows the quality and art that goes into making Outback Mate!

Now I just need to let my husband know I want to full sized bar for Christmas!
