So far I am loving the palette shades! My favorites so far are the two brown shades! Check out my review on YouTube!
Avon did an amazing job with Mother’s Day this year! They have a wide variety of gifts that can be ordered online and shopping is free on orders over $60.
My favorite Mother’s Day gifts from Avon include the Blushing Beauty Powder Blush which comes in 3 shades. I have this blush and it’s now one of my favorites! I have the Ink Red shade!
First up! The packaging is amazing — It’s a combination of both Shane and Jeffree and looks sleek and fun. The top of the box rises up like a pyramid and the black clasps are very trunk like!
The shades in Conspiracy are super fun too. I love metallic brown shades so I tried a look using Sleep Paralysis, Just a Theory and a touch of Spiraling as liner.
I was super impressed with the formula, it was soft and applied easily. Being over 50 I do have problems with creasing but this palette was perfect! I really want to try Diet Rootbeer, Diet Cola and Trisha next! I actually love pink eyeshadow and I think I can make a look with Trisha and the white ranch! We’ll see!

I think one of my favorite eyeshadow palette purchases of 2018 was Urban Decay Elements Palette that’s now $26 but currently out of stock : ( — but Urban Decay been known to restock sale items online.
Elements is like Star Trek, meets Boy George — err, ok that’s a little weird. However, these shades have an 80’s Culture Club feel to me.
My favorite is the shifty Fortune Teller shade (to the right of the bright blue one) that looks grey but is actually “metallic pink-red with green 3-D sparkle and shift” YES!
I also the brown Moon Rock shade which is “metallic copper with iridescent sparkle”. The greens have a Slytherin quality, unfortunately I’m not much of a green eyeshadow girl but they are pretty!
The case is gorgeous too with a sparkly rainbow cover and huge mirror. I love a good mirror!
You get 9 shades in this palette which include 6 metallics and 3 mattes. The shades are highly pigmented and blend really well on me. I love the red and bronze metallic shades most. This is a nice sized palette for a purse of make-up bag too.
Guantanamera- (Velvet Matte) Deep raspberry/burgundy
Cafecito- (Velvet Matte) Deep Coffee
My favorite shade is the pink La Costa followed by the El Malecon gold. The blue shades are also amazing and very pigmented. The shades are long laster too and I’ve gotten so many compliments while wearing this palette.
Alamar is also Made in the USA. Cruelty Free. Gluten Free. Paraben Free. Mineral Oil Free.
I finally got around to trying out the Crown Pro Glam Metals Eyeshadow Palette that I received in my January 2018 Boxycharm Box and I can’t get enough of it!
What’s to love?
I think this is my first experience with Crown (aside from their awesome brushes) and while the palette is Made In China I find the quality to be top notch.
Glam Metals has really unique shades with rock star names that range from and orang-y bronze (Rebel) to a gorgeous gold (Rock On) to the deep metalized blue (Heavy Metal).
I tried each shade and you can create some neat looks including smokey eyes with Punk and Black Metal and a rock star purple look with The Wicked and Glam Rock.
The shades are highly pigmented and very long lasting. I had no creases on my 40+ eyes and the shades blended really nicely. You can also use a wet brush for extra metal!
The palette costs $29.99 but is on sale on the Crown site for $20.99. I am so glad I got this palette in my Boxycharm box!
You can see the Crown Pro Glam Metals Eyeshadow Palette in my January 2018 review!
This gorgeous palette has “textured foil formulas” and it looks amazing. I am a huge fan of the metals so this is right up my ally and I love that they are so textured. The metallic shades tend to make my 47-year-old eyes look younger.
You get 3 foil finish shades and a split pan on the end with 2 sparkling shades.
gold coast (champagne)
sailor’s delight (burgundy)
sea glass (chocolate)
stargazer (sunset/silver)
I especially love the burgundy and chocolate shades and this palette is on my Spring wishlist.
This color palette has 9 shades that are inspired by the My Little Pony Movie:
KINDNESS (yellow with small pearl)
FLUTTERSHY (soft pink with shimmer)
GENEROSITY (matte mauve)
RARITY (matte white)
APPLEJACK (orange with shimmer)
HONESTY (brown), LAUGHTER (sparkly mauve pink)
PINKIE PIE (hot pink matte)
TWILIGHT SPARKLE (pinky purple shimmer)
MAGIC (bright purple)
RAINBOW DASH (royal blue with shimmer)
LOYALTY (dark green with shimmer)
TEMPEST SHADOW (matte bright red)
SONGBIRD SERENADE (dark purple with shimmer)
STORM KING (silver with shimmer)
PRINCESS SKYSTAR (mint duochrome)
My favorite shades are the pink, gold and blue! They are highly pigmented and do not crease or flake. I also love the variety of matte and shimmer shade. I’ve been able to blend these colors with very good results.
The dark purple is pretty too but just a bit too dark for my liking (as you all know purple is one of my favorite shade) however if I blend it with a little white it works.
I really LOVE this palette and I got it on sale so it was a great deal too.
