Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water Review

The Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water This is yet another Beautycon treat from the Winter box. Have I mentioned how much I love Beautycon!

I have always been a big fan of the Garnier products and this one is a great find for me.

What’s to love?

The Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water has no oil and can be used for eye make-up and face make-up. It’s for all skin types and does no require rinsing.

I tried this product on both my eyes, lips and face and it worked really well. I used a flat cotton pad that I soaked with the product. I was able to remove my mascara and eyeshadow with minimal rubbing and it worked on my face and lips too.

What I love about this product is how it feel afterwards. I don’t like oily make-up removers because of the reside. This one however made my face feel clean and soft with zero build-up. It pretty much has no scent which I like too.

It really does feel like water because of the consistency and it does not dry out my skin. I would definitely buy this product when my sample runs out.

Price: $8.99

Garnier Whole Blends Coconut Water & Vanilla Milk Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Today I tried out the Garnier Whole Blends Coconut Water & Vanilla Milk Shampoo and Conditioner today because I was in the mood for a little coconut!

What’s to love?

My mom is a huge fan of the Garnier Whole Blends Honey Treasures line so We deiced to pick up the new coconut version. This one smells really nice with a great combo of coconut and vanilla. The pearlized shampoo lathers well and rinses out clean and the conditioner feels light and smooth.

I love using coconut shampoo to clarify and remove build-up from my hair and this one works great. I love to switch up my shampoo and conditioner between Lush and I also use Garnier and Aveda products to keep my hair manageable. I like to switch because I think it gives my hair more life and because I love the variety.

Overall I would use this one again for the smell and hydration.

Price: $3.99 for each bottle.

What’s to love?

First I have to say that I’m a fan of the Garnier Fructis products and before I found the Lush Shampoo Bars I used it quite a bit. I do like to use regular shampoo occasionally to mix things up and I’m impressed with the Whole Bends Honey Treasures.

The product contains royal jelly, honey and propolis which makes for a very creamy nourishing formula. The white pearlized shampoo could almost be mistaken for conditioner it’s so creamy. The shampoo is not a high-lather product but feels silky and rinses clean. The conditioner is super creamy and more on the heavy side.

Both have a honey/caramel scent that has a touch of a purfumey smell. Meaning that it’s not super earthy but I liked it. It feels more like a salon product for a much better price.

I can see myself using Honey Treasures after I color my hair or when it feels more dried out as it is super conditioning. I will probably pick up the full-sized products soon.
