Lush Halloween 2017 is expected to release online September 15th and one of the products that’s coming back from last year is the luscious Magic Wand Soap.
The big version of Magic Wand is a cylinder. Lush will then cute round circles from the larger piece to sell. I have a half circle here. The outer layer is dark green and the center is a magical swirl of orange and yellow.
The scent is a blend of pomegranate, coconut and tangerine and it does smell quite magical. I really enjoyed using this soap last year and can’t wait to get my hands on more for Halloween 2017.

The Ulta Pumpkin Spice Body Wash has Shea Butter, aloe and vitamins A, C and E and the formula is very nice. I am a huge fan of the Ulta bath and body line. It’s also Made in the USA.
The scent on this one is spot on Pumpkin Spice and one of the best I’ve smelled. It’s creamy pumpkin with a hint of cinnamon. It’s also Free of Parabens, Gluten, DEA, Phthalates and TEA.
Halloween at Bath & Body Works is in full swing and one of my favorite Halloween scents is Vampire Blood. The scent is so good with blood-red berries, night-blooming jasmine & devilishly dark plum. It has a unique scent that is both sweet and flowery.
The Bath & Body Works Vampire Blood scent comes in the Hand Cream, PocketBac, Foaming Hand Soap, Candle and I also picked up the Light-Up Bat PocketBac holder.
I love the red and black packaging with the bat too. It’s both cute and scary so kids love it too! It has a great goth look to it and a collection would look great in a gift basket.

Halloween is my favorite time of year and Bath & Body Works has an amazing selection of products for Halloween 2017 so I just created a HUGE Bath & Body Works video haul to show of this years products. You can view a product list here.
Here’s a few photos from my video haul too! I plan on using some of these products as gifts and of course on myself. Enjoy!
When Fall arrives I get giddy over the arrival of the Bath & Body Works Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. This year Bath & Body works hit me a curve ball by not including the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin scent in the Ultra Shea line up but they do have a few new products that I am loving. The closest new scent is probably the Spiced Pumpkin Cider.
Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin is a sweet, autumn blend of pumpkin, cinnamon & sugarcane and it just reminds me of Fall. I wear it all the time and I’m at least glad they have a hand cream otherwise I’d be spraying the concentrated room spray in my hair!
All of the products in the above photo are new this year except the two Ultra Shea Body Creams on the right. Those are from years past.
I am really loving the newSweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Pumpkin Butter soap and the hand cream. They also have a Deep Cleansing Hand Soap that I want to try.
This year the Halloween PocketBac’s comes in 5 scents:

I picked up 2 of the Bath & Body Works Fizzes. Creep It Real which is a blend of Japanese cherry blossoms, crisp pears, mimosa petals & sweet sandalwood. I melted this one in my creepy spider jar! I also got Sugar Rush which is Juicy Orange, Fresh Lemon, Pink Pepper & Hazelnut. They also have a Something Wicked Fizzy Gift Set that includes Sugar Rush, Creep It Real and Vampire Kiss.
It’s that time of year again when Lush brings out their amazing Halloween 2017 line of bath products. Lush Halloween includes Bubble Bars, Bath Bombs, Soap, Shower Gel and Gifts.
This one is loaded with Fall scents and glitter which makes it a favorite in our house. The Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar is bright orange with a coating of gold glitter and it even has a cute brown cinnamon stick stem.
Magic Wand is a wonderful blend of pomegranate, coconut and tangerine. The colors in my slice include orange and yellow in the center with a dark green skin.
As if Halloween 2017 anticipation wasn’t exciting enough Lush UK decided to release a new Bath Bomb called Secret Arts. It was called Dark Arts but maybe that was too Harry Potter like! It’s actually a new bath bomb called a jelly bomb and it looks amazing! I just got one from Lush UK — demo coming soon!
I am a huge fan of the Lush glycerin soaps but one of the problems I have come across with all glycerin soaps is that they are 1) slippery and 2) they can get cloudy if they sit in water.
Here’s a picture of Lush soap that I cut up and arranged in a soap dish. It looks really pretty when you have guests over too.
I’ve found that cutting up my Lush soap not only prolongs my bar but also giving me a fresh experience every time I get a new chunk.
Here’s the process I use for cutting Lush soap.
The Back Story – Lush actually cuts their soap from a really large piece themselves so cutting really isn’t new. I would actually love to own an entire Lush soap wheel just for fun. Lush them packages up the smaller bars for sale. Each bar has a unique shape.
The Knife – I actually have a funny story about the knife I used. It’s a $199 Miyabi knife from Japan that was gifted to me by fairly famous author (I worked for him) who shall remain nameless because I’m not sure he’d be amused by me cutting up soap with his $199 gift. I chose this knife because it cuts through anything and I wanted to use a sharp knife. Ironically a butter knife works just as well because the soap is fairly soft.
The Process – As you can see below I simply just cup up each bar using the knife. It was really easy and a cute the chucks up in different shapes for variety.
The Final Product – Today I cut up Santa’s Postbox, Shooting Stars, Baked Alaska, Snow Castle, Reindeer Rock and Magic Wand.
Once I get the pieces cut up I store them in ziplock bags in a cool, dry, dark place so that they don’t stick or melt. Then when I take a shower or bath I can just grab a chunk of my favorite soap. I like this because I tend to switch off on scents quite often and I love have a fresh piece. Each piece lasts about 3-5 showers.
