Everything you need to know about the Bath & Body Works Gingham Collection Launch!

I just got my hands on the new Bath & Body Works Gingham hand cream and I am thrilled with this scent. According to the Bath & Body Works press release Gingham is officially being released on April 15th in store and online.

Bath & Body Works notes include: Sweet citrus, blue freesia, sweet clementine and soft violet petals.

I find the Gingham to be a sweet fruity floral and I love it. It’s light enough to be worn during the day and it would make a pretty Summer evening scent. The fruit scent is definitely orangey!

Bath & Body Works French Collection Review

Today I picked up a few items from the Bath & Body Works French Collection and I was happy to find out they had something for both fruit/candy and floral lovers.

First up are the 4 France inspired Body Creams that come in

  • French Riviera – Has seaside citrus, jasmine water, amber musk, summer fig and driftwood.
  • Rose Champagne – Has sparkling clementine, crisp bergamot, apple blossom, pink pepper and blonde woods.
  • Bonjour Paris – Has pink sugarcane, whipped marshmallow, candied orange blossom, white honeysuckle and fluffy amber.
  • La Fleur – Has French tulips, waterlily, freesia blossom, sparkling mandarin and sandalwood.

My favorites are the fruity Rose Champagne and the candy Bonjour Paris.

You can also get these scents in the Fine Fragrance Mist, Shower Gel, Body Lotion and Bath Fizzies.

I also got Bonjour Paris and La Fleur in the new square body lotions. I love these bottles!

Bath & Body Works Shea Butter Hand Cream Review

One of my favorite new products from Bath & Body Works are the 1 fl. oz. Shea Butter Hand Creams and they are on sale today March 22nd for $2.95 online and in stores. These are so nice!

bbw2.jpg

What’s to love?

First up I just love the size of these tubes. They are perfect for purses or gifts and the artwork is adorable.

bb.jpg

They come in 20 scents including: Vanilla Butter Cream, Black Cherry Merlot, Fiji White Sands, Sparkling Limoncello, French Lavender, Sweet As Strawberries, Pretty As A Peach, Jamaica Pineapple Colada, Heart Of Gold, Mint To Be, You Are My Sunshine, Maui Mango Mai Tai, Aloe-Ha, Peach Bellini, Forever Pink, Watermelon Lemonade and my favorite, Eucalyptus Spearmint.

I have seven scents and they are amazing. The white cream has a twist-off top on the tube and has Shea Butter and Vitamin E to soften hands. I think these are more like a small version of the Ultra Shea Body Cream only for hands and in new scents. They do wonders for my hands too.

I included 2 of the “green” scents in my Bath & Body Works St. Patrick’s Day Haul too if you want to check it out.

The Body Shop Stocking Stuffer Gift Sets (Spiced Apple & Merry Kis-Mas Wand)

If you’re looking for some adroable and quality stocking stuffers The Body Shop has got you covered with the Spiced Apple Treats Gift  Set for $10 and the Merry Kis-Mas Wand for $24. I have to say that over the years I have loved The Body Shop products and it’s fun to see that they have a nice Holiday line too.

What’s to love?

Spiced Apple Treats Gift Set – In this set you get a Mini Spiced Apple Body Butter, Mini Spiced Apple Shower Gel and Small Bath Lily. Spiced apple smells amazing…just like baked apples in cinnamon and the body butter always leaves my hands so smooth.

Merry Kis-Mas Wand –  I got this cute set for my mom who loves lip products. It’s a round pink lip box on a stick so it looks like a sucker and you get 5 Lip Butters in Strawberry, Raspberry, Satsuma, Watermelon and Passionberry. I am a huge fan of the lip butters as they soften and protect even in the coldest weather. The lip butters do have a tint and a gloss too which is so nice.

Lush Charity Pot Hand And Body Lotion Review

Every time I go to my local Lush store I pick up a small pot of Charity Pot Hand And Body Lotion, our entire family loves this stuff and “100% of the purchase price (every single penny minus the taxes) goes towards supporting humanitarian, environmental and animal rights causes locally and around the world.” Which is so cool!

l.jpg

What’s to love?

Aside from the charity part which is awesome this hand and body lotion is my go-to lotion for dry hands and feet.

The formula is made from Fair Trade Shea Butter, Fair Trade Cocoa Butter and Fair Trade Olive Oil with a mix of Geranium Oil, Rosewood Oil, Ylang Ylang Oil and Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute for scent. This lotion has a woodsy floral scent that I really love and it’s so smooth and luxurious and it’s now in the self-preserving formula.

I love that Lush gives their customers a way to contribute to charity by purchasing their products. Just one more reason to love Lush!

Lush Karma Kream Hand and Body Lotion Review

A few weeks ago I got a sample of the Lush Karma Kream Hand and Body Lotion from my local Lush store. One thing that I love about Lush is how generous they are with samples. They will give you a small jar of just about any lotion or liquid product in the store. I usually get two samples for every visit.

kk

What’s to love?

This thick and creamy lotion reminds me of cold cream in it’s consistency and really works well on dry skin. I’m looking forward to using this lotion in the Winter months and a tiny bit goes a long way. The formula consists of fair trade cocoa butter and almond oil which is very moisturizing.

The scent of this lotion is on the strong side. It does have a spicy element to it which everyone might not like. Along with an orangey citrus scent it’s also got Pine Oil, Lemongrass Oil and Patchouli Oil which adds some spice!

Overall I love this lotion and think the scent is great for the Fall and Winter holidays.

Price: $29.95 for 7.9oz (I do wish they made a smaller less expensive jar however).

eos Hand Lotion Cucumber Review

I see the eos Hand Lotion every time I go to Target and the grocery store and I finally picked one up for $1.59 in Cucumber and it comes in Berry Blossom and Fresh Flowers.

I’ve used the eos lip balm which I love so I figured the hand lotion would be nice too.

eos

What’s to love?

First up I love the packaging of this hand lotion it’s flat so you can fit in into your purse pocket and it’s easy to use with a flip-up lid.

It’s a white cream that goes on smooth and it is super light-weight and non-greasy. My hands felt wonderful after I used it. The smell is a nice fresh cucumber scent that is not over-powering. It’s also Paraben-free, gluten-free, has no animal by-products and it’s Made in the USA.

Over all I love this little lotion for the price and the easy of use. For a drug store brand eos is a great buy.
