Lush The Snowman Bubbleroon Review

The Lush The Snowman Bubbleroon is a wonderful Winter and holiday bath product that bubbles up really well.

What’s to love?

The palm sized Snowman Bubbleroon has Sicilian Lemon Oil (Citrus limonum) Lemon Myrtle Oil which makes it a real lemony delight. It also has calming styrax oil which makes for a nice bath. The bubbles are super soft with this one and there’s no color if you like a plain bath.

A bubbleroon is kind of like a Bubble Bar but with a bit more moisturizing  properties. This one has Fair Trade Shea Butter and Soya Milk Powder.

I also love that this one is so cute! It makes for a great gift too.

I also create a Lush 2017 Christmas Haul Video!

Burt’s Bees Hive Favorites Holiday Gift Set Beeswax 2 Piece Set

I love giving Burt’s Bees for Christmas because everyone love it so much! I picked up this Burt’s Bees Hive Favorites Holiday Gift Set Beeswax 2 pc from Target for $4.99 for my MIL.

What’s to love?

I am a huge fan of the Burt’s Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm, it smells amazing and always keeps my lips so soft.

You also get a Milk & Honey Body Lotion for normal to dry skin. This lotion is very nice and always leaves my hands smooth and moisturized.

I also love the red and gold holiday packaging. These make great little gifts and stocking stuffers.

I also picked up the Burt’s Bees Skin Essentials Tin Holiday Gift Set 5 pc for $5.99.

Morgan Taylor Nail Polish in Rare As Rubies Review

If you’re looking for a full on Christmas look you’ve got to try Morgan Taylor Nail Polish in Rare As Rubies. I feel like my nails look like a cross between Dorothy’s ruby slippers and a red glitter Christmas ball.

What’s to love?

The Morgan Taylor brand feels super high-end to me, this is a super luxurious nail polish and color. Unlike a lot of glitter polishes this one is both color and glitter. You get a beautiful red gel shade with bright red Christmasy glitter mixed in.

I used two coats and my nails look amazing, the photo does not do them justice. I actually had a few people at store compliment me on the color today. This shade would be perfect for a holiday party and surprisingly I would consider wearing this everyday. It’s that pretty. I do anticipate a little work in getting it off as glitter tends to stay on.

I also love the packing.  The bottle is very heavy with a thick glass bottom which make it look like a work of art!

It’s also free of free of Formaldehyde, Toluene, and DBP.

Elf Holiday 2016 Glowing Star Blush and Bronzer Set Review

Target had the Elf Holiday 2016 Glowing Star Blush and Bronzer Set on sale today for $4.50 so I snatched it up and I’m super happy with this purchase.

What’s to love?

I am loving these e.l.f. holiday sets and this blush and bronzer compact is a steal for $4.50. You get a pink and bronze compact and a mini Kabuki brush with this set. I think the brush alone is worth $4.50.

You can use the bronzer for an accent or contour and the pink as blush. The pink side has a slight glitter to it and the bronze has a nice shimmer although both colors have a nice dry look when applied to my skin. It is pretty and light. I’m adding this to my purse make-up bag for touch-ups during the day. You can also swirl both shades for nice coverage and color.

I don’t have a pale pink blush in my collection and this one is just beautiful. You really can’t have too many shade of blush on hand!

I’ve said this before but I really love that e.l.f. has an inexpensive holiday line for stocking stuffers.

Becca Glow On The Go Shimmering Skin Perfector Holiday Gift Set

I’ve really been into the Becca line lately, it does wonders on my over 40 skin so I actually picked up this new Becca Glow On The Go Shimmering Skin Perfector Moonstone Holiday Gift set for myself at Sephora for $20.

What’s to love?

You get two products in this set including…

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Spotlight Opal – I love this light reflecting highlighter (it’s gotlight-reflecting pearls) and it makes my sometimes dull skin look glowy and pretty. The formula is super light-weight and does not crease on me at all. Full-Sized price: $44

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Opal – This pressed powder looks like liquid gold and applies very well over the cream. I feel like it gives me just the right shine which makes me feel young and glowy…Is glowy a word? This powder is so fine too, I am in love with this highly pigmented shade! Full-Sized price: $38

Beauty Reviews, The Body Shop

The Body Shop Stocking Stuffer Gift Sets (Spiced Apple & Merry Kis-Mas Wand)

If you’re looking for some adroable and quality stocking stuffers The Body Shop has got you covered with the Spiced Apple Treats Gift  Set for $10 and the Merry Kis-Mas Wand for $24. I have to say that over the years I have loved The Body Shop products and it’s fun to see that they have a nice Holiday line too.

What’s to love?

Spiced Apple Treats Gift Set – In this set you get a Mini Spiced Apple Body Butter, Mini Spiced Apple Shower Gel and Small Bath Lily. Spiced apple smells amazing…just like baked apples in cinnamon and the body butter always leaves my hands so smooth.

Merry Kis-Mas Wand –  I got this cute set for my mom who loves lip products. It’s a round pink lip box on a stick so it looks like a sucker and you get 5 Lip Butters in Strawberry, Raspberry, Satsuma, Watermelon and Passionberry. I am a huge fan of the lip butters as they soften and protect even in the coldest weather. The lip butters do have a tint and a gloss too which is so nice.

Vaseline Holiday Winter Lip Tin Review

I braved the grocery store this morning (in the snow) for some last minute Thanksgiving items and found a giant Vaseline Holiday Winter Lip Tin 3 Pack! How cool is this? It’s got a neat sweater design on the front and comes in blue and red. I got the blue one.

What’s to love?

I actually picked up the Rosy Lips variety back in August and am still loving this product.

I am also a sucker for holiday packaged products and this giant Vaseline tin is just so cute. I’m going to use it as a family stocking stuffer (everyone can have a some tin), then I’m going to snatch back the large tin for coins or buttons or something.

You can never have enough Vaseline lip therapy in the cold weather!

PS – Yes, we put up the tree today!

Elf Holiday 2016 Flawless Eyeshadow Palette Review

Target and Ulta now have holiday e.l.f. make-up displays with a huge variety of products at amazing prices. I picked up the Flawless Eyeshadow Palette in Matte for Plum for $2. The palette also comes in Golden Goddess, Tantalizing Taupe, Smoky, Happy Hour, Beautiful Browns, Blushing Beauty and Natural Matte.

What’s to love?

Aside from the price which is amazing I’m really pleased with the quality of this palette. It would make a great stocking stuffer and it’s super easy to use which would be great for teens or anyone wanting to experiment with color. It’s even got holiday packaging which is super cute.

The shades in this palette are labeled so it’s goof-proof. You get black for lining, plum for crease, sage for lid and cream for base. The shades swatched pretty well but they are on the harder side. Although you can still blend them pretty easily. The pigmentation was about a 7 out of 10. You also get a dual-sided sponge applicator and a tiny mirror in the set.

Overall I think it’s a great palette if you’re looking to add colors inexpensively or you need some stocking stuffers.

Holiday 2016 SinfulColors Santa Claws & Sleigh My Name Nail Polish Review

I finally found the new Holiday 2015 Sinful colors that’s I’ve been looking for at Target. I picked up Santa Claws and Sleigh My Name. These colors are both from the new Santa Bae Collection.

What’s to love?

If you love glitter and shine you’re going to love Santa Claws and Sleigh My Name which are two Limited Edition Glitter colors from Sinful Colors for 2016.

Santa Claws is fine red and sliver glitter. I used 3 coats to get my desired look. This color would also look great on top of white or silver. It’s very Christmasy.

Sleigh My Name is silver with lots of glitter and white stars. I also used 3 coats to get good coverage but I was a bit messy with my application. The glitter kept going on my skin so you might have to do some clean up afterwards.

Both shades are beautiful for all ages. My tween daughter loves the Santa Claws shade and my 73-year-old mom wants to trySleigh My Name for a Christmas party. So it’s a really a fun look for everyone.

One warning. Glitter takes a bit more effort to remove than traditional nail polish!
