INC.redible Jelly Shot Lip Quencher Review

Back in 2016 I reviewed the Kailijumei Flower Jelly Lipstick.  I love the clear jelly lipsticks with the embedded flowers, they are so unique and pretty. I got the Nails Inc. INC.redible Jelly Shot Lip Quencher in _ex revenge (which is clear) in my 2018 Glossybox Advent Calendar and I’m super impressed. It also comes in a clear orange, green, pink and blue. It has no scent.

The INC.redible Jelly Shot formula has vitamin E, avocado and rice bran oil to keep my lips moisturized and it works really well. I also love the visual of this lipstick. It has gold flecks and a rose in the center of the clear lipstick.

It’s a pretty lip balm that’s meant to prime, prep and protect your lips, you can also wear under your lipstick! I love it.

Price: $10

Kailijumei Flower Jelly Lipstick Review

Today I got my Kailijumei Flower Jelly Lipstick in the mail. I ordered the Flame Red color off of ebay for $11.99 and that included shipping from Singapore. I’m pleasantly surprised at the quality of this lipstick, I was expecting it to feel cheaper. As you can see it has a plu colored flower and gold flecks encased in a clear jelly lipstick.

I’m not sure if this is a fake because I  bought it off of ebay but it feels authentic. The package has a Kailijumei.com QR code on the package and there is a production date and an expiration date.

The only odd thing is that a few words are misspelled on the back and the punctuation and sentence structure is a odd. For example it says…”first from the middle of the lower lip, hit a circle to the insideEvenly, and then coated with lip, Kylie finished the United StatesJelly lipstick, light SIP lips, so that makeup effect lasting.” WHAT???? That is weird.

The packaging is pretty with a metallic red case with a mirror. You pop up the lipstick by pressing on the bottom button of the case.

The lipstick itself is very pretty and has a nice vanilla scent and felt smooth on my skin. I tried it on my arm first and the color turned a light pink. The lipstick is completely smooth and is really quite beautiful to look at.

I could’t get a very good picture of my lips, the lighting was just strange. As you can see it looks very light pink, not Flame Red at all. Not sure if this is because of the way it reacted to my skin or if it’s just a defect. I was a bit nervous putting it on my lips seeing as though I wasn’t sure if it was fake but I didn’t have any bad reactions to it. To me it felt more like a lip gloss that an actual lipstick product.

Overall I think this is a really interesting concept and I’d love to see a company like Tarte to produce a Flower Jelly Lipstick. Not sure I’d wear this one but I love looking at it. It’s quite a neat product to have in my collection.

Beauty Reviews, That's My Opinion

What’s The Scoop On the Kailijumei Jelly Lipstick?

Apparently the Kailijumei jelly lipstick is hotter than Kylie and Kim put together so I decided to do a little research because I’m old and I want to know what the heck I’m putting on my lips.

Here’s what I know!

The “cool factor” of this clear jelly lipstick is that it’s got a flower embedded in the center which is pretty neat to look at. It reminds me of those floating pool flowers or something from the 70’s, I swear I remember something like this from my childhood.

The other “cool factor” is that the color is supposed to change with your body temperature or Ph level to give you a custom look…hmmmm.

The company is based in China and the lipstick sells for $30 plus shipping which seems really high to me. Ironically you can buy these on ebay for as low as $1.29. WHAT??? Not sure if these are a knock-off or what.

While these look kind of neat I’m a huge skeptic and a bit of a germaphobe and old. I want to buy from trusted well known companies, especially since this is going on my lips! I mean who knows, maybe there’s unicorn hair in there or something.

I’m going to try and get my hands on one to review so stay tuned.

In the mean time have you tried these? Any thoughts? Am I missing something?
