Burt’s Bees Pumpkin Spice Lip Balm

I am a huge fan of both Burt’s Bees and Pumpkin Spice so a few years ago when I discovered the Burt’s Bees Pumpkin Spice Lip Balm I was hooked! Although this flavor can be a bit elusive. I found this one at Wal-Mart this year and I saw that Amazon has them. However they appear to be in short supply.

What’s to love?

I love that the Burt’s Bees Pumpkin Spice Lip Balm is 100% natural and it smells amazing without being overpowering. It keeps my lips nice and hydrated even on the coldest days. It’s one of my favorite lip balms!

It’s made from Mongongo Oil that’s from a small village in Zambia, Africa and it comes in 8 scents including:

The Clinique Crayola Limited Edition 4-Pack has been on my wish list for a few weeks and I finally picked it up on sale at Sephora.

What’s to love?

First up the packaging so so adorable. I’ve been wanting these Clinique Chubby Sticks just because they look like Crayola crayons.

The colors are also very nice too. from left to right I got:

  • Fuzzy Wuzzy (Brown) – Chubby Stick Intense
  • Mauvelous (Raisin) – Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Balm
  • Melon (Light Orange) – Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Balm
  • Brick Red (Dark Red) – Chubby Stick Intense

The Intense sticks have more color and the Moisturizing Lip Balm is more sheer and I love them both! They have great pigmentation and feel amazing on my lips.

They are free of Parabens, fragrance, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, DPB (dibutyl phthalate), and camphor.

Also be sure to check out my April Beauty Favorites video which has the Clinique Crayola Chubby Sticks.

Lip Smacker Easter 3-Pack In Egg

I have another adorable Easter treat to share! I got the Lip Smacker Easter 3-Pack in an Egg this year at Target and they smell amazing!

What’s to love?

I don’t think I’ve ever smelled such potent Lip Smackers in my life! This lip balm trio comes in 3 flavors:

  • Whipped Mallow – Pink
  • Cotton Candy  Day Dream – Blue
  • S’More Fun – Beige

I think the Whipped Mallow is my favorite. They taste amazing too and I might just have to steal them from the kids. They also have a tiny bit of sheen to them too!

The egg is also reusable and is going in our Easter Egg collection for next year.

Made in the USA.

Beauty Reviews, TONYMOLY

TONYMOLY Liptone LipCare Stick Review

I received a TONNYMOLY Liptone LipCare Stick in my April Ipsy bag and I’m really digging it! TONYMOLY is a very cool company that started in 2006 in Seoul, Korea and they have a variety of adorable products like the Petit Bunny Gloss Bars.

What’s to love?

The TONYMOLY Liptone LipCare Stick comes in 3 flavors: Rose Blossom, Honey Moisture and Mint Light.

I got the Rose Blossom which has Bulgarian Rose Extract, Camellia Oil, Rosehip Oil and Shea Butter. This formula smells exactly like fresh cut roses and feels amazing on my lips.

However I’m not a huge fan of florals but that’s OK because I like the product so much. I’d really like to try the Light Mint which hasMediterranean Peppermint, Ceramide, Coconut Oil and Avocado Oil.

The Honey Moisture has New Zealand Manuka Honey, Shea Butter, Sunflower Seed Oil and Jojoba Oil.

Overall I really like these lipcare sticks!

Price: $10

POGO Lip Balm Review

I have an obsession with collecting unusual lip products so today when I was at Ulta I picked up the POGO Balm.

What’s to love?

I almost got the Dr. Lip Bangs which looks so cool too but I wasn’t sure because it was $4.95. However I just read a cool review for it by cherilyn does… that you should check out Dr. Lip Bangs Lip Freak Buzzing Balm – A Review. She also has a great review about Chicken Poop Lip Junk – A Review which I also want!

The POGO Lip Balm looks like something out of the 80’s with a transparent colorful top and rubber bottom. The design of this one is so awesome!

Aside from the cool packaging it comes in 6 flavors at Ulta including:

  • My Party – Vanilla Cake
  • De-Lish – Pineapple Citrus
  • Atmosphere – Clean Mint
  • Beach Wave – Coconut
  • Trainwreck – Strawberry Banana
  • Bff- Yumberry

I got the My Party – Vanilla Cake and it smells and tastes amazing, just like cake! It has Organic Hemp Seed Oil, Fair Trade CertifiedTM Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil and a bunch of other organic ingredients.

According to very cool their site they are USDA Organic, Cruelty Free and Gluten Free. According to POGO they’ve composed the cleanest, greenest, most delectably potent lip balm on the planet.

I really loved the formula which is smooth and my lips feel pretty amazing after using it and I really, really love the packaging!

Price: $3.49

I also included the POGO Lip Balm (although I keep going it lip gloss) in my Ulta Haul video for today!

Beauty Reviews, ChapStick

ChapStick DUO Review

ChapStick has a really cool new product available called the ChapStick DUO and it’s similar in shape to the EOS lip balm.

What’s to love?

The ChapStick DUO comes in Sweet Peach, Strawberry Kiwi, Tropical Pineapple, Refreshing Watermelon, Fresh Coconut, Vanilla Shimmer, Cool Mint and Berry Shimmer. I have the Refreshing Watermelon and it smells amazing.

The DUO part comes into play when you snap two flavors together which I just found out from the website. This way you can carry two flavors in one unit which is kind of cute.

The egg shaped top makes the lip balm very easy to apply and the formula is smooth and moisturizing.

Overall I like the new shape and I’ll probably pick up and flavor so that I have a proper DUO!

Price: $2.99

New Coca-Cola Lip Smacker Cup Lip Balm Review

I was at the grocery store today and saw the cutest new product. Lip Smacker has a new Coca-Cola lip balm in a cup. They also come in Fanta Strawberry, Sprite and Cherry Coke. I picked up a bunch of these for Easter baskets.

What’s to love?

The packaging is really creative and smart. It’s a Coca-Cola cup with clear brown ice and a straw. The top part twists off to reveal the brown Coca-Cola lip balm that’s shaped like an egg.

I love the smell of Coke and this lip balm matches the smell spot on! The domed shaped product also makes it super easy to apply. My lips felt and smelled amazing after I used it.

It is Made in the USA and cruelty free.

Price: $3.49

Almay Smart Shade Butter Kiss Lipstick Review

I picked up the Almay Smart Shade Butter Kiss Lipstick yesterday to test out and found it to be a nice Summer shade although it’s more a balm or gloss than lipstick.

What’s to love?

First I have to say that I don’t consider the Almay Smart Shade Butter Kiss a lipstick but more of a lip balm or gloss. It has an angled flat top that twists up from the metallic tube and the packaging is quite pretty. The top of the case is transparent but very hard to open. I actually had to use my teeth to pull it off.

I really liked the product itself. I chose the Berry Shade for Light-Medium skin (Almay is tailoring their shades by skin type now) and it’s a pale pink on my lips.

The formula has a light shimmery glossy finish that’s pack with moisture but not sticky. My lips felt very soft and smooth with it on however this is not a highly pigmented or long lasting product. I got about 2 hours of wear before I had to reapply. It also came off on my water glass.

It does have a nice very light sugar/vanilla scent an but no taste. The lipstick is Hypoallergenic and Dermatologist Tested as is the entire Almay line.

Overall I liked this product and would buy it again. It comes in 12 shades. The price is $3.49 which I think is a great value too.
