The Beauty Crop Lip Brulee Review

I received The Beauty Crop Lip Brulee in Butterscotch in the GlossyBox Limited Edition Mother’s Day 2018 Box called Melting For You. I am a huge fan of The Beauty Crop brand and this product is a nice addition to my collection.

What’s to love?

The Beauty Crop Lip Brulee is a super creamy high shine lip cream. The Butterscotch shade is a light pink. According to The Beauty Crop it is a “Caramel Nude shade” but it does have pink in it.

The color is more of a translucent hue that a full color coverage. It also looks amazing when I layer it on other lipstick.

It smells like butter cream frosting and feels very moisturizing on my lips. It has Jojoba and Apricot Kernel Oil. I really love this formula!

Lip Brulee has no Parabens, Mineral Oils, Phthalates and it’s Vegan, gluten free and cruelty free.

Price: $12.95

ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip Review

I received a ColourPop Ultra Satin Liquid Lippie in my Summer 2017 Beautycon Box. I got the London Fog shade which is a pinky red!

What’s to love?

I like the ColourPop Ultra Satin Lippie mush better than the Matte version because it gives me a little bit of shine. However this shade is way too red on me but I’d like to try a nude or plum color next.

The formula is nice and not too drying which I like. I didn’t have any bleeding but the color did wear off a bit when I was eating. I feel like this is a really nice lip product for the price too.

Price: $6

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Lippie Review

I received two full-sized ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Lippies in my April GlossyBox and I’m pretty happy with them. The Ultra Matte Lippies come in 50 shades!

What’s to love?

Being over 40 I have a love/hate relationship with the liquid matte lipsticks in terms of dryness but I have to say that they ColourPop Mattes are quite nice and don’t dry my lips too much.

I received two shades…Airplane Mode which is a nude shade and Tuesday which is a bright pink coral. I prefer the Airplane Mode shade which looks so pretty. Tuesday is way to bright for my fair skin.

The formula on these lippies is super thin. I actually dripped some out of the tube when I was taking my photos. However this didn’t impede the application, in fact I think it made it easier.

Once on the lipstick dries very quickly and I can barely tell it’s there and it has decent staying power. I got about 6 hours worth of wear however it did come off when I ate greasy food and I mean it all came off!

The Ulta Matte also has no scent and the retail price is $6.

ColourPop Lippie Stix Review

I must be living under a rock these days because this is my first experience with ColourPop and I am so impressed with the ColourPop Lippie Stix I got in the Winter 2106 Dulce Candy curated Beautycon Box!

What’s to love?

First up the packaging is so pretty. The Stix comes in a white box with silver lettering and the Lippie Stix logo is a hologram. The stick itself is white and the color of the Lippie with an easy to use slanted twist-up.

This amazing Lippie is both creamy and moisturizing with great pigmentation. However I’m not sure what the name of the color is because it’s part of the Beautycon Box. It’s a nice light brownish coral that kind of  looks like the Hype Girl or Cami shades. I love it!

The ColourPop Lippies are also Made in the USA and cruelty free and they smell so good. This one smells like cookies and vanilla sugar.

Overall I am super impressed with the ColourPop Lippie Stix and at just $5 each I see a lot more in my future!
