Lush Twilight Bath Bomb Review

I just tested out the Twilight Bath Bomb and Wowsa! this one is nice. I can’t believe I haven’t gotten it before.

What’s to love?

First off, I thought this one would be all pink. not so, there’s a surprise in Twilight Here’s how this Lavender wonder progresses…to me it’s got a bit of Harry Potter magic in it as it’s covered with a moon and stars.

First it’s all pink cotton candy fizz.

The first smell you get off of this bath bomb is amazing. The Lavender and Ylang Ylang oil mix really well. In the past Ylang Ylang oil has not been a favorite of mine but it works really well here.

Then a tiny blue bubble appears.

I really had no idea that the center was blue. Seeing the blue bubble appear felt magical.

The blue bubble grows and the water starts to turn purple.

As you can see the inside of Twilight looks a bit like a geode. Very pretty and the smell is still amazing. I would say Twilight is a lot like a Dragon Egg in the way it melts.

The final moment.

It took a good 7 minutes for Twilight to dissolve and the entire process was very fun and entertaining. And my hands felt super soft from handling this one. I imagine an entire bath would be very relaxing.

Final verdict!

At $6.55 I plan to pick up a stash of these to have on hand. Twilight is my new favorite bath bomb. Or course I love ALL the Lush bath bombs so it’s hard to nail down an absolute favorite. So this will be my favorite until I get my next Lush haul.

Lush Seanik Shampoo Bar Review

Happy Monday everyone!

About I month ago I recommend the Lush Seanik Shampoo Bar as part of my 3 Must Have Lush Shampoo Bars For Summer post but I wanted to post an update a month later.

I had pneumonia back in February and my hair was in awful shape, however now that I’ve been using Seanik 3-4 times a week mixed with the other Lush Shampoo Bars I’ve noticed a huge improvement. It’s much shinier and thicker! I’m trying to let it grow out again and I’m also hoping that now that it’s in better condition it will grow faster.

Why I love Seanick!

In addition to saving my hair I just can’t say enough about the Lush Shampoo Bars. I love how Seanick smells, it’s a fresh ocean smell but not perfumey at all. Just rub it on your head for a super thick and creamy lather that rinses out super clean.

I’m kind of a Shampoo Bar addict now and want to try every Lush variety at some point.

PS – In case anyone was wondering I don’t work for Lush! I just really, really love their products.

Lush Creamy Candy Bubble Bar Review

We’ve been using the Lush Creamy Candy Bubble Bar for about a month now and the whole family loves it.

What’s to love!

The Creamy Candy Bubble Bar is one of my favorite scents. If Willy Wonka made bath products this would be his signature product. I personally would love to see a Lush version of the Willy Wonka factory!

It does smell like cotton candy but once you add it to the bath and get the bubbles going it tames down to a beautiful sweet smell.  I love how the bathroom smells after someone uses it.

The beauty of the bubble bars is that you can break off a small chunk. We get about 5-7 uses per bar. Just make sure that you crumble a piece of over paper as there will be some crumbs coming off of it. The bubble bars have a medium-hard cakey consistency. Creamy Candy breaks better for me than “The Comforter” which seems harder.

Overall I would recommend trying this one. Some reviews say it’s on the sweet side but I say bring on the candy! Try it yourself and see what you think.
