Returning products for Lush Halloween 2019
Lush Sparkly Pumpkin Halloween Bubble Bar Sparkly Pumpkin is a favorite of mine! It’s loaded with glitter which makes it a Fall favorite in our house. The Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar is bright orange with a coating of gold glitter and it even has a cute brown cinnamon stick stem in the center.
Monster’s Ball Bath Bomb This pink and blue little monster is so cute and perfect for turning your Halloween bath into a purple spa.
Bewitched Bubble Bar This cute black cat bubble bar has yellow eyes and a bergamot and blackberry scent.
So far every single product that I’ve tried in the Lush Spring 2019 line is amazing and the Rose Bombshell Egg is no exception.
What’s to love?
First up the Rose Bombshell is huge! As you can see in my hand. It comes in two split halves and it’s tied up with a brown paper ribbon.
The center is hollow and is filled with dried rose petals and salt and the scent it pure rose.
In my YouTube demo I used the bottom half with the roses and salt. This one floats like a boat and is a very fast fizz. Once the bottom breaks through the water pops the rose petals up. It’s super cool to watch.
The water from the Lush Rose Bombshell Egg turns a milky opaque light pink and it does leave a pink ring in the tub. I did find in fairly easy to rinse out.
The price is $9.95 and is a superb deal for how much product you get.
If you’re look for some good clean kid fun look no further than the Lush Volcano Fun kit! This shampoo, soap and bubble bath combo is so much fun to play with!
The scent is tangerine, Ylang, Ylang, Lavender oil, Fennel oil and popping candy for even more fun!
You get a block of dark grey Fun that you can mold into a volcano mountain. Then add red, orange and yellow Fun as the fire and flames!
Finally, you get a mini red, orange and yellow (star) bath bomb to place in the center for the lava!
The volcano was pretty easy to create, the key is to not have holes in the base of the volcano or the water runs out. That happened to me. I wish they would make this in a mega roll so that we could make an even bigger volcano. It was so much fun!
The fizzing lava is the best part! Watch my YouTube video to see it in action.
Lush is hitting a World Series home with the Spring collection and the products continue to impress me! Today I had the chance to demo the Lush More Tea And Sympathy Bath Bomb which is the sequel to the 2017 Tea And Sympathy Bath Bomb which was a fast fizzer. The new version is a very, very slow fizzer!
What’s to love?
This large pink tea pot bath bomb has a green yarn string and a tea label to make it actually look like a pot of tea! Take the string and “dip” you pot into your bath water for an amazing experience.
More Tea And Sympathy has Green Tea Absolute, Neroli Oil and Blue Cornflowers. The bath bomb releases a gorgeous shade of pink and the water turns a light pink.
There’s also a surprise inside! The tea bag in the center of More Tea And Sympathy has Camellia Sinensis; Centaurea Cyanus; Citrus Aurantium Bergamia which make for an even more delightful bath! I am LOVING this one.

Oh man Lush! You are going to kill my wallet for Spring. The Lush 2019 Spring line is amazing and the first thing I tried is the Wild Butterfly Bath Bomb.
This orange and yellow butterfly is not only magical but it smells so good with Sweet Orange Oil and Oil Leaf Absolute. Just wow! Total sensory overload in a good way.
The water form Wild Butterflies is a bright orange but I didn’t get any staining on my fingers. It’s a medium fizz with orange and yellow trails. Wild Butterflies is only $5.25 and I am going to stock up on this one.
See my demo on YouTube and be sure to sub for the rest of the Lush 2019 Spring collection!
Lush is a bit on the pricey side and I admit to blowing my beauty budget in one trip but is it really possible to enjoy Lush on a budget? I say it is and here’s how.
Don’t use the whole thing! – I never use an entire Bubble Bar or Bath Bomb in one shot. The bubble bars cut up very easily and I get 7-10 uses out of the large ones like Brightside. I’ve also been known to hack apart a bath bomb. It’s a little more effort to break these up but it can be done. The Bath Bombs are pricey at $6.95 to $12.95 each so getting a few soaks out of one is worth it.
Set a budget before you walk into Lush. – Walking into Lush is an amusement park for your senses and it’s so easy to just haphazardly start throwing things into that cute Lush basket but it can add up fast so keep a metal tally of how much you’re spending and stick to your predetermined number.
Check the expiration date and buy the correct size. – Lush has a ton of amazing facial cleansers but most of my favorites expire in 3-4 months and you don’t want to end up throwing out excess expired product. For example I buy the 3.5 oz tub of Dark Angels for $14.95 and that lasts me about 3 months because I only use it 1-2 times per week and a little goes a long way. Also keep in mind that the Lush Fresh Masks only last 2 weeks so those are good to share with a friend.
Share with a friend. – Another way to save money is to share with a friend. It’s super easy to chop up the Lush glycerine soap. I cut them up for my guest bath but you could get 4 of your friends together and each buy one bar. Then just quarter the bar and everyone gets to try four different varieties.
Shop the Lush Boxing Day sale. – Every year on December 26th Lush has a 50% off and Buy 1, Get 1 sale on Boxing day for their holiday collection both online and in stores. This is a great time to stock up and save a ton of money. Even the gift boxes are on sale.
Try a shampoo bar. – I get 40 to 50 washes out of a Lush Shampoo Bar. The bars run $9.95 to $12.95 which comes out to about .20 per shampoo which I think is worth it.
Get samples. – When you go to a Lush store not only do you get to try everything you can even take home sample pots. I get 3 to 5 samples every time I go to Lush. I love trying the hair products before I buy. Each pot gives you 3-5 uses.
Turn in your black pots. – This is a great deal. “Bring back 5 empty, clean black LUSH pots to your local shop for recycling and we’ll give you a Fresh Face Mask, FREE!”
The bottom line is…don’t be intimidated by what you’ve heard about Lush. While they are known for being pricey on some products you can really get a nice stash for just $25 and don’t forget the samples.
The Lush Wow Box is the ultimate Lush gift! If you’re a Lush fanatic like me then the Wow gift box is probably on your Christmas wish list. The 2018 Lush Wow Box has 46 products and costs. $389.95. I have reviewed many of the products in this box so you can see what you’re getting.
I am so excited about the Lush Halloween Eyeball Bath Bomb!. This white bath bomb has a cool spooky red eye and would make an excellent Halloween gift.
It’s got Lavender, Brazilian Orange Oil, Rose Absolute and Ylang Ylang Oil. It smells super relaxing and the water turns a nice light red (perfect for a Halloween bath). Price: $7.95.
