The Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt is a classic product in the Lush Easter collection and it’s simply amazing! This Vegan Golden Wonder is loaded with Gold Luster and smells like toffee.

What’s to love?

Really this is NOTHING not to love about the Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt. It smells like toffee and has Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter bergamot and wild orange oils. This one does an amazing job of smoothing out my Winter skin and it’s so much fun to have a gold glitter bath. The glitter sticks a little but you can easily rinse it off if you want.

I created a video demo of theLush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt in a black sink so you can really see the effect. It looks like the universe! So pretty.

Lush Easter Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt Review (and what’s inside)

This week I picked up the Lush Easter Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt and it’s amazing, albeit a bit confusing. Here’s what’s inside this glittery wonder!

What’s to love?

The Lush Golden Egg truly looks like it belongs in Willy Wonka’s factory. It’s the size and shape of an egg and it’s covered in golden luster.

As for the product it’s a bit confusing because of the name, Bath Bomb Melt. It’s got a solid clay-like center that smells like toffee and a fizzing part in the center. It really reminds me of the Honey I Washed The Kids soap. The Golden Egg was pretty hard to cut but I managed to split it in half with a butter knife.

I would not use this entire egg in one bath. I think I’ll be able to get 6-8 uses out of this product that contains Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Fair Trade Olive Oil and Almond oil.

As you can see from the photo the product does lather up a bit and there are some nice bubble. To me it feels like a very moisturizing soap. It did leave my hands very soft and smooth. The water from this egg does turn a strange yellow shade too.

The golden luster on the outside of the egg is pretty messy and if you love glitter it won’t be a problem. Just know that it does stick to skin and the tub and the dog but it can easily be washed away. I actually love the shimmer.

Overall I give this Easter delight an A+. It’s gorgeous, smells nice and leaves skin soft. I would however recommend some sort of bag if it’s going in the Easter basket to contain the glitter.

Price: $8.95
