Lush Pumpkin Halloween Bath Bomb Review

The Lush Pumpkin Halloween 2016 Bath Bomb is here and it’s amazing. I think this is my favorite Lush Fall scent so far (of course I say that all the time!)

lp.jpg

What’s to love?

The Halloween Pumpkin Bath Bomb smells a lot different wet than dry. It was a bit strong for me dry. The main ingredient is Pimento Berry Oil AKA allspice and I think it’s just super strong dry. When wet the allspice mixes with exotic pimento, sweet vanilla and warming cinnamon to create the most amazing warm scent.

This bath bomb is orange on the outside and yellow on the inside and when I say orange…I mean orange! Bright, beautiful Halloween orange which is nice but it does leave a reside. It does not stain but I had to wipe the orange ring out of the tub and if you get it on your skin undiluted it will leave a little orange too.

Overall I love this bath bomb, it’s great for cool October night and will leave your bathroom smelling so good!

Price: $6.95

Lush Sparkly Pumpkin Halloween Bubble Bar Review

This classic Lush Halloween favorite is new to me and I’m so glad I got my hands on the Sparkly Pumpkin Halloween Bubble Bar.

p

What’s to love?

This sucker is loaded with Fall scents and glitter which makes it a favorite in our house. The Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar is bright orange with a coating of gold glitter and it even has a cute brown cinnamon stick stem.

The scent comes from juniper berry, lime and grapefruit oils and we got some nice bubbles and sparkly orange water. I can’t say it smells like pumpkin, but it does have a spicy Halloween essence. This bubble bar is perfect for Fall and Halloween.

I want to get a few more to display in my bathroom too. The bar gives off a strong scent just sitting on a soap dish so my whole bathroom smells amazing.

Lush Monsters’ Ball Halloween Bath Bomb Review

My Halloween Lush adventure continues with the Monsters’ Ball Halloween Bath Bomb. This one is an amazing burst of color and scent and one of my new favorites.

hbb.jpg

What’s to love?

This pink and blue little monster packs a huge punch and is perfect for turning your Halloween bath into a purple spa.

First up, I love the design. It’s a pink one eyed monster with blue ears and so, so cute. The eye is Vegan Dark Chocolate (Sugar, Cacao Fat, Cacao Powder)…how cool is that?

This bath bomb is extremely bubbly and fun. From the minute I put it in the water I could see pink and blue bubbling off and the smell is amazing. Citrus an neroli perfume which smells so good!

The colors mix together as it melts into a beautiful purple shade that you can bathe in. The color looks so much like Halloween purple and felt so luxurious on my skin. This is definitely a new favorite of mine.

Lush Magic Wand Halloween Soap Review

Whoo! My Lush Halloween haul has arrived and first up is the Magic Wand Soap.

l

What’s to love?

The smell of this soap is truly magical. It’s a wonderful blend of pomegranate, coconut and tangerine. This is a glycerine based soap so it feels slickish to the touch when wet and the lather is bubbly and clear.

The colors in my slice include orange and yellow in the center with a dark green skin. I am a bit confused because Lush states “the detoxifying charcoal in the soap’s black outer layer will get you squeaky clean“, although their picture is green too so it must be green.

I feel like this soap looks like a cool Halloween cauldron or something out of Harry Potter and I love that. I love how it looks in my bathroom with my owl shower curtain. Yay! Halloween is here. More Lush Halloween reviews are coming soon.

Lush Halloween 2016 Is Coming!

I have been waiting very, very, very patiently for Halloween to arrive at Lush. Lucky for me they just added their Halloween products to their Lush USA website.

I ended up doing a small haul including this Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar which I am so excited to get.

I seriously need to win the lottery because I want to do a monster Lush Halloween haul. However I think I got some pretty cool stuff to share with you soon. I’ll be doing full reviews of my entire Halloween haul and I’ll probably pop into our local Lush store later this month to see what else I can snag.

3 things on my wish-list are…

The Pumpkin “Pump It Up” Gift Wrap – You get a Halloween Knot-Wrap with a pumpkin pattern plus a Boo luxury bath oil, the Lord of Misrule shower gel, the Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar and a Pumpkin bath bomb.

Goth Fairy – This is a cute little pink/purple shimmer bar which I want to see in the store before I buy.

Fireside – This Clove bud oil looks amazing but I really want to smell it first.

Next up Christmas! Oh dear…or should I say deer?

Lush Karma Kream Hand and Body Lotion Review

A few weeks ago I got a sample of the Lush Karma Kream Hand and Body Lotion from my local Lush store. One thing that I love about Lush is how generous they are with samples. They will give you a small jar of just about any lotion or liquid product in the store. I usually get two samples for every visit.

kk

What’s to love?

This thick and creamy lotion reminds me of cold cream in it’s consistency and really works well on dry skin. I’m looking forward to using this lotion in the Winter months and a tiny bit goes a long way. The formula consists of fair trade cocoa butter and almond oil which is very moisturizing.

The scent of this lotion is on the strong side. It does have a spicy element to it which everyone might not like. Along with an orangey citrus scent it’s also got Pine Oil, Lemongrass Oil and Patchouli Oil which adds some spice!

Overall I love this lotion and think the scent is great for the Fall and Winter holidays.

Price: $29.95 for 7.9oz (I do wish they made a smaller less expensive jar however).

Lush Brazilliant Shampoo Bar Review

The Lush Brazilliant Shampoo Bar tames my wild hair and leaves it shiny.

orange

What’s to love?

I have crazy, wild thick hair. I make Hermione Granger’s hair look tame so I need to be careful which shampoo I choose otherwise I’ll end up looking like I stuck my finger in an electrical outlet. Not only is my hair thick it also gets frizzy so humidity is my worst hair enemy.

Luckily I found Brazilliant which is about the orangiest (not sure if that’s a word) shampoos I have ever used but my gosh it works. Brazilliant is pure orange in color and smell and it creates huge lather that rinses totally clean.

After using Brazilliant my hair is noticeably shinier and tamer. I use Brazilliant about 4 days a week and mix it up with other Lush Shampoo Bars for variety.

Brazilliant also has andiroba oil which is supposed to strengthen hair which I think is true because my hair condition has improved so much since using Brazilliant.

Also check out my Lush Brazilliant review and demo on YouTube!

Lush Sea Monster Fun Review

If you’ve tried Lush Fun you’re probably love the Sea Monster version of Fun.

What’s to love?

Our house loves the original Lush Fun so much that we decided to try the Sea Monster version. While we didn’t actually create a cute sea creature we did love this product.

This one is a mix of lime, lavender and gardenia. It’s a bit stronger than the original version but it smells so good. My thought is that the strong scent is reminiscent of a good fairy tale sea monster.

Like the original you can use Fun as soap, shampoo and bubble bath. Our created a ton of bubbles and made the water a neat murky green. Such a neat product!

Lush Big Bang Bubble Bar Review

The Lush Big Bang Bubble Bar is just amazing. Ironically I just watched the The Big Bang episode of Doctor Who last night!

bb

What’s to love?

Big Bang is a delightful mix of grapefruit and lemon myrtle oil which makes it smell amazing. The design is so cute too. It’s a pink star embedded in a starry blue base with yellow stars.

This one also has cocoa butter and corn starch which made my skin feel amazingly soft. There’s not quite as many bubble as Brightside gave me but that might be because of the cocoa butter.

Another thing I wanted to note is that this bar is thick. I cut mine with a butter knife and get about 5-7 uses out of one bar.
