I am a huge fan of the Urban Decay Naked line so I’m pretty excited that they are coming out with a new Naked Skin Shapeshifter palette that includes five cream and five powder formulas that contour, highlight, and color correct.

They haven’t announced when it will launch but I can’t wait!

What’s to love?

I started my obsession with the Urban Decay Naked line when I got the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette and now I’ve been trying to add more pieces to my collection. I ended up getting my mom this Naked Illuminated Trio for Christmas because she loves light sparkly nude shades and this one fits that bill!

You get Pyrite (gold- champaign), Oasis (marbled frosted taupe) and Twilight (iridescent pink) plus a really nice dual sided brush. I also love that you get a really nice mirror with this palette.

Each shade has major shimmer and goes on like air. You can use these as a bronzer, highlighter and blush or just add anywhere you need some shimmer. My mom loves that i makes her skin look brighter and younger. This is one of her favorite palettes!

I believe it’s mostly sold out now but you might still be able to find it at Ulta or Sephora stores for a good price.

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette Review

I am so excited about this review! I picked up the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette for $27 when it was on sale at Urban Decay. This palette has all my favorite colors and looks amazing on my 46-year-old eyes. You’re never to old to go “Smoky”!

What’s to love?

First up, the packaging is a work of art itself. The palette is heavy and the marbled cover is so unique with raised lettering. You also get a super high quality mirror and one nice dual-ended brush which I thought was very high quality. I used the brush to apply the shadow in my example below.

They shades are very pigmented and apply beautifully. I had no creasing and the powder is very fine. You get 12 smoky shades in this palette that range from dark to light. They start with 4 metallic, then 4 shimmer, then 4 matte shade which is perfect for just about any look. The colors in this palette look even prettier in person.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered this palette but I am blown away by the quality and color selection. This is definitely one of my new favorites.

The palette is Made in the USA and I had zero irritation from this eyeshadow.

You also get a neat fold-out sheet that gives you some tips and ideas for creating the perfect look.

The shades.

The first four shades are High (light gold), Dirtysweet (light bronze), Radar (metallic brown) and Armor (medium metallic grey/brown).

The middle four shades are Slanted (medium grey shimmer), Dagger (ark grey shimmer), Black Market (black shimmer) and Smolder (dark purple shimmer).

The last four shades are Password (dark grey matte), Whiskey (dark brown matte), Combust (beige matte) and Thirteen (fair matte).

My favorite shades which I used below are Smolder,Black Market, Dirtysweet and Thirteen. I think my eyes look pretty good. I do were glasses so I included that pic too. I’m wearing Clinique Chubby Mascara too.

Price: $54

Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid Review

I got two of the Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid colors with my Sephora points and I’m pretty impressed.

ud

A ton of companies are coming out with the Color Correcting Fluid and it’s fun to play with. The idea is that the colors corrects and conceals flaws, here’s the color chart.

Green – Covers redness.

Lavender – Brightens sallow skin and corrects yellow skin.

Peach – Covers blueness and dark eyes.

Pink – Helps with dullness and masks signs of fatigue.

Yellow – Covers purple and under eye dark circles.

What’s to love?

I tried out the Urban Decay Naked Peach and Green shades which cost $28 in the full-sized tube. I found both colors to be very thick with excellent coverage. They are actually so thick that you really need to blend to achieve your affect which is good.

I have a little bit of redness on my checks and was able to conceal it well with the Green shade. However I did feel like I needed some foundation over the concealer. Perhaps I’m not red enough!

The Peach color did an excellent job on my dark eyes and it worked really, really well because I do have bluish fair skin. I want to pick up the full-sized of the Peach color.

Overall I love these Naked color concealers, Urban Decay makes a super high-end product that I feel is worth the price. As I get older I need to even out my skin tone before I apply make-up. I think for anyone over 40 all 5 color concealers are a must-have.
