I am so excited that Summer is coming and my favorite lipstick for those warm months is pink! So I decided to share 5 amazing pink lipsticks that I can’t wait to wear this Summer.

It Cosmetics Blurred Lines Lipstic in Believe – This shade from It is a sheer/shimmer raisiny pink that looks translucent and pretty.

NYC Get It All Lipstick in PINKtastic – I love this creamy bright pink shade for a casual Summer look.

Urban Decay Vice Big Bang Lipstick – Big Bang is my favorite high end glittery pink shade! It reminds me of the 80’s and it looks amazing for day or night.

Almay Smart Shade Butter Kiss Lipstic in Berry Light Medium – This lipstick/lip balm hybrid has a light sugar/vanilla scent and looks very sheer.

e.l.f. Moisturizing Lipstick in Pink Minx – This drug store pink is perfect for the beach! It’s a pretty cream and only costs $3.

NYC Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator Review

Now that my Summer tan is fading I’m looking for something to boost my pale skin a little and I found the NYC Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator in my stash from the August 2016 Ipsy Glam Bag.

What’s to love?

This light-weight Liquid Illuminator blends very well on my skin. I have the Gleam shade which gives me a nice all over Summer glow without being too overbearing. It’s got a bit of a peach color to it.

The swatch is pretty dark because I wanted to show the color out of the tube but once you blend it looks much lighter with just a hint of shimmer. This stuff really brightens my skin and I have no issue with irritation. I also feel like this product is more moisturizing than some illuminators.

The scent of this one is super light, not fragrance-free but very light and not unpleasant at all.

I would definitely buy this product for $7.50 and am interested in trying the Sunbeam shade which is a pale pink pearl.

My only issue is that I wish it was Made in the USA and not China.

NYC Get It All Lipstick Review

I am so excited about my drugstore finds this week! Today I got my August Target Beauty Box in the mail which has all sorts of fun stuff (more coming soon) and one of the products is a full size NYC Get It All LipstickNYC Get It All Lipstick in PINKtastic.

What’s to love?

NYC feels similar to NYX is quality which is very good. This is my first experience with them and I really like the Get It All Lipstick.

First up I love the case. The top is clear so you can see the color and the lipstick has a nice angle to it which makes application a breeze.

As for the product itself…it has a very pleasant vanilla scent and so much pigmentation. As you can see from the swatch it’s a beautiful shade of light pink in a cream. The lipstick is super smooth with no stickiness and my lips feel moisturized with it on. It claims to be long lasting too. I did eat and drink with it on and so far it’s staying in place.

PS – I can’t get a good photo with the product on my lips. We’re having a storm and my indoor lighting is just awful! But is does look very pretty.
