Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blood Lust Palette Collection – First Impression

I ordered the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blood Lust Palette on the Friday Feb 21st release date and it just arrived today which was super speedy! I was super excited that Jeffree Star Cosmetics now has a purple palette and this one is divine!

First up the presentation is phenomenal! My products arrived extremely well packed with purple bubble wrap and branded purple tissue paper. Everything was perfect and intact!

The Blood Lust Collection consists of a palette, mini purple lipstick bundle, purple Extreme Frost, 5 purple The Gloss shades, 3 new mirrors and various swag!

I purchased the Blood Lust Palette, 2 shades of The Gloss and the Crown hand mirror

The star of the Blood Lust collection is most certainly the Artistry Palette. The case is a beautiful crushed velvet in purple with a crown logo. It has a jewelry clasp and it’s amazing! The palette has 18 shades that range in hue from light lavender (Deviant) to a block sparkle (Executioner). The shade in between include a super metallic pink called Pink Magic and the daring red Bleeding Heart. On first swatch the shades are pigmented and smooth!

I also got The Gloss in Sorcery and Wizards Glass! These are so shiny and sparkly and I went Lord Star next!

Sorcery – Light peach with pink, purple and blue reflects.

Wizards Glass – Bronze with pink and gold reflects and a minor purple reflect.

Overall I am thrilled with this collection and I can’t wait to try it out! You can see more in my Blood Lust First Impression video!

New It Girl Palette Review

I am a huge fan of It Cosmetics so it’s no surprise that I love the new It Girl 2017 palette.

What’s to love?

First off the bling factor is 100%, the case alone is worth the price of this palette. It’s really pretty and high quality.

The palette contains 4 mattes and 4 pearl shades although I Lovely and Darling feel more like sheers to me.

The base colors are amazing, I use them in the Superhero palette too and they cover dark skin really well.

I get no creasing and find the colors to be highly pigmented and they have great staying power.

Here’s what you get:

LEFT SIDE:
–  Beautiful: Neutral Base / Highlighting Color
–  Glitz: Pearl Nude
–  Lovely: Matte Nude
–  Stunning: Pearl Bronze
–  Divine: Matte Chocolate Brown

CENTER:
–  Blush: Ombré Rose with Highlighting Pink

RIGHT SIDE:
–  IT Girl: Brightening Base / Highlighting Color
–  Charming: Pearl Champagne
–  Darling: Matte Nude Pink
–  Dazzle: Pearl Rose
–  Brilliant: Matte Wine

Overall I think this is my new favorite palette. I hope they come out with a Version 2 that has some purple shades too.

What’s to love?

This amazing palette has 5 creamy shades including Orpime, Rhodoni, Vanadini, Autuni and Sphene which are unusual names but the most beautiful jewel tone shades I have seen.

I really love the creamy metallic shine of these long lasting shades and the pink one is my favorite so far. I got no creasing that they look nice on my over 40 eyes!

So while I’ve never heard of this brand I am super excited to have gotten this palette. I think it’s going to be one of my Fall favorites! The neutral shades remind me of Fall leaves.

Realher Eye Shadow Palette Review

One of the best items that I received in my June Boxycharm was the Realher Eye Shadow Palette. The palette that I got is the l shades (Be Your Own Kind Of Beauty: NudesCollection) — there is also a II (Do Your Squats: Perfect Basics) and III (I Feel Beautiful: Smokey Violet Collection) version.

What’s to love?

I have to say this is one of the nicest new palettes I have gotten in a while. The neutral shades are so pretty. Creative (lilac) and Unique (bronze) are two of my favorites and I love that you get two matte shade (Smart) black and (Strong) brown. The other seven shades are shimmer.

The three light shades on top are luminescent too and look great as highlighters and upper eye shades.

The formula on these shades is super pigmented and almost feel like a cream they are so fine. They’re not chalky at all and they have great staying power too.

Realher is cruelty free also and free of Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Gluten, and Phthalates.

Price: $28.00

LORAC Pirates Of The Caribbean Lip Duo

I also swatched the Lipstick from theLipstick/Lip Gloss Duos which are very pretty, creamy and pigmented but I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend $26 for one because I don’t wear a lot of lip gloss. The duel ended tube is really neat though.

I  picked up a few more things from Ulta so I decided to do a small Ulta Haul video!

Beauty Reviews, LORAC

LORAC Pirates of the Caribbean Palette Is In Stores Now! First Impression.

The LORAC Pirates of the Caribbean Palette is now at Ulta and Kohl’s! I actually stopped by Kohl’s today for something else and was surprised to see it there. Kohl’s only had the palette and not the lipstick or blush but there was a spot on the display for those products so they may be getting them in. I am also wondering if you can use your Kohl’s percent discount on this palette, that might sway me to pick this one up.

UPDATE: I just picked up the Cheek Palette at Ulta…here’s my review… LORAC Pirates of the Caribbean Palette Cheek Palette & Lip Duo Review.

While I didn’t buy Pirates of the Caribbean today I did play around with the display.  The packaging is beautiful with a black, gold and starry theme. The shades are pretty and pigmented but I felt like there were too many neutrals and nudes for me to spend the $52.

I have a lot of these shades already and I was kind of disappointed that there were no purple shades. I mean don’t pirates where purple! I also would have like to see a brilliant gold. The shades I loved the most were: Starry Night, Treasure and Menace.

Overall I love the branding and the packaging and I might just pick it up if it goes on sale because I love Pirates of the Caribbean.

Here’s what you get in the palette.

Row 1:
