It Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi Complexion Perfection Review

I’ve seen It Cosmetics on QVC and the makeovers look amazing, I just hadn’t tried anything from them yet so I decided to pick up the It Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi Complexion Perfection set today and I’m glad I did.

What’s to love?

It Cosmetics was founded by Jamie Kern Lima then it was purchased by L’Oreal in 2016. It is a line of “problem-solving products”.

I chose the Je Ne Sais Quoi Complexion Perfection because I really wanted to try the Bye Bye Pores Pressed. The packaging is cute with a pale pink metallic case and it contains four products.

Bye Bye Pores Blush –  This blush is amazing. The fine powder looks very silky and smooth and it felt very light on my face. They color is so pretty too.

Bye Bye Pores Pressed – I’m so glad I picked up this pore filler. The translucent powder worked really well on my large pores and it looked smooth and pretty.

Cosmetics Sunshine In A Compact – This shade is a bit dark for me but it’s nice for contouring and as a bronzer.

Perfect Lighting Luminizer – This highlighter is so pretty. It’s a light beige with a gold shimmer and it looked great just above my cheeks.

I tried to swatch the shades but they are very light, however this does not diminish the product. The shades are beautiful on my face. Here’s a selfie I took wearing all fours shades.

Overall I’m impressed with It and I’d like to try a few more of their products. My only issue is that it’s Made in China. Why of why can’t they make this stuff in the USA?

The It Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi Complexion Perfection palette is part of my February Favorites on YouTube!

Benefit The POREfessional Review

I’ve been using the NYX Pore Filler for awhile now and love it so I was excited to try the Benefit POREfessional. I can’t remember which box I got this cute sample in but I’m glad I had the opportunity to try it.

I am in desperate need of a pore minimizer these days. I’ve been plagued with larges pores my entire life and a product that minimizes the appearance of my pores is a dream come true for me. Years ago our only choice was pancake make-up to fill in pores and that was not a good look for me.

What’s to love?

The Benefit The POREfessional Pro Balm is light beige with a smooth texture. Benefit says it can be used on all skintones, I have fair skin. When I rubbed it into my cheeks, nose and chin ares it absorbed almost instantly and felt silky to the touch. It miraculously does minimize my pores and I like this formula a bit more than the NYX Pore Filler (which is a great product).  The POREfessional just felt a little bit more smooth to me.

I also love that The POREfessional keeps my make-up in place. I tested this out for a few days and it does make a big difference for me. I wish I had this one back in the 80’s!

I also really want to try the the POREfessional: matte rescue gel next.

NYX Pore Filler Review

I just picked the NYX Pore Filler and I am so impressed with this product. I have huge pores and this filler did just the trick to make my face smooth.

What’s to love?

This beige gel-like filler is super smooth and feels silky and dry upon application. It blended into my face and definitely diminished the appearance of my very large pores. I was shocked at how well it worked. I used it under my Clinique BB Creme for a smoother appearance. I have combination skin and the formula blended well on both my oily and dry areas.

I also love that it has no scent and did not irritate my skin. It is Made in Taiwan and while I wish all NYX was Made in the USA I do like this product.

This one is on my “must have” list from now on.

Price: $14 for 0.67 fl. oz. tube.
