Lush Valentine’s Day Ladybug Bubble Bar Review

Lush Valentine’s Day 2017 has arrived and I got my Lush Valentine’s day order in the mail today which was so exciting and one of the cutest products in my haul is the  Lush Valentine’s Day Ladybug Bubble Bar.

What’s to love?

I am a huge fan of the Lush Bubble Bars. These colorful bars can be cut up for many uses. I usually cut off about a 1/6 of the bar (they are pretty thick) for one use. Then you just hold the piece under running water to make bubbles. This one does a great job of making a pile of suds!

The scent of the Ladybug is also delightful and fragrant. The main scent is Peppermint Oil and you can smell that but there are also undertone of Geranium Oil which gives is a lush floral scent too.

This one didn’t stain my tub at all and my bathroom smelled amazing after I used it too.

Lush Serendipity Soap Review

While Serendipity is not an official Valentine’s Day pick for Lush I think it would make a great Valentine’s Day gift. I got a sample in my last Lush order and it smells like a Lavender field (or what I imagine one smells like…i’ve never actually been in a Lavender field!)

What’s to love?

If you’re someone who loves the calming effect of Lavender this soap will probably be a favorite. While I’m not a huge fan of floral scents I did enjoy this one. The two tone purple soap has little tiny lavender buds embedded in the outer translucent ring.

This one lathers up so well with smooth bubbles and my hands felt very moisturized after using it and the scent does linger a bit which is very relaxing.

This however is a Glycerine based soap so it is slippery. You need to keep an eye on it or it will shimmy away.

I actually want to get this one for my mother-in-law for Valentine’s Day, she loves Lavender and I think it would make a very pretty gift.

SinfulColors Purple Diamond Review

My nails are a complete mess! I’ve been cleaning my spare room so I can turn it into my make-up studio and I managed to chip just about all my nails. So today I cut and polished them with SinfulColors in Purple Diamond.

What’s to love?

My collection of SinfulColors is always growing. At $1.99 I love picking up a new shade that catches my eye and I find the quality of this polish to be really good. It’s also Made in the USA and Toluene, Formaldehyde & DBP Free.

I love this shade of purple too. It’s super light and gives off just the right amount of shimmer and shine. It reminds me of Spring Lilacs which is nice because I am getting really sick of Winter.

I also want to check out their new collections which are…

Kandee Johnson which has a really cool pink that I want called Pin Up Pink.

Swak – Sinful with a Kiss for Valentine’s Day. I must have the fuchsia rEADie or Not shade!

Luck of the Stylish for St. Patrick’s Day. Gilded Goddess in gold is amazing looking.

All New Colors which has some pretty shades.

Pride which is a beautiful rainbow of colors. I like the Envious in green.

Tarte Energy Noir Clay Eye Shadow Palette Review

This Limited-Edition Tarte Energy Noir Clay Eye Shadow Palette is so pretty, it has just the colors I’ve been looking.

What’s to love?

This cute little palette has 6 eye shades (Full Moon, Charged Up, Dark Drive, Stone Unturned, Up To Slate and Misty Mauve) 2 dark shades that you can use as liner (Power Plum and Lunar Eclipse), 1 highlighter (Crystal Spark) and a blush Unearthed). The colors are so pretty and rich too, they do remind me of earthy clay colors. My favorite color so far is the Misty Mauve which is a nice deep plum.

The eye shadows are highly pigmented and have great staying power. I didn’t get one bit of creasing either which is great. The only thing I miss is the vanilla scent that you get with Tarte. My guess is that the clay palette doesn’t have the scent, in fact there is no scent at all which is good too.

The purple acrylic case is super high quality too and quite weighty. The only thing I wish it has was a brush!

Overall I love this palette. Tarte is one of my favorite brands and this one does not disappoint.

Holiday 2016 SinfulColors Sleigh Me Nail Polish Review

SinfulColors has two 2106 holiday lines this year with new and returning colors. You can select from the Santa Bae and Un-Bowlievable collections.  The Un-Bowlievable collections has this very pretty purple sparkle color called Sleigh Me.

What’s to love?

Sleigh Me is a beautiful grape color with some nice purple shimmer. I used two coats for my desired color and I think it looks amazing. This color does remind me of a Christmasy purple and the shimmer is light enough to look sparkly but is still toned down enough for work.

This color applied super smooth and looks like glass when dried. Very pretty.

Also at $1.99 each you can pick up a bunch of the SinfulColors holidays colors for a great price. Next up is Santa Claws with is a red and white glitter!

OPI Suzi & the 7 Düsseldorfs Nail Polish Review

Happy October everyone!

Today I picked up Suzi & the 7 Düsseldorfs Nail Polish from OPI and in addition to loving the name I am all over this amazing purple color from their Germany Collection which is pretty appropriate for October. Bring on Oktoberfest!

What’s to love?

The OPI Germany Collection came out in Fall 0f 2012 so I’m a little later but this is still an awesome color, especially for Halloween.

The purple is a super pretty electric purple and it’s classified as a pearl finish. I would say it reminds me of Prince’s Purple Rain purple and it’s so, so pretty.

I easily applied two coats and OPI is awesome because it dries fast with zero goopiness or streaking. I think you need two coats as one is a little bit to shear and thin.

This popular collection also includes some great pearl shades like Deutsch You Want Me Baby? (red pearl ), Don’t Pretzel My Buttons (orange/beige pearl) and Unfor-greta-bly Blue (electric blue pearl).

I purchased this bottle at a local discount retailer for $6.99 and now I want to go back and find the other shades from the Germany Collection!
