I am loving their Made in the USA, vegan-friendly formula and my nails do seem stronger and more conditioned after using it. The colors are so brilliant and pigmented too.

I also love the tall glass bottles, they look so retro and pretty. I fear I have a new obsession!

I am wearing the Lainey – Winder Maven – Summer Berry Shimmer shade.

Check out this set in my Summer Nail Polish video haul too!

Tarte Limited Edition Make Believe In Yourself Eye & Cheek Palette Review

I am absolutely thrilled with the new Tarte Limited Edition Make Believe In Yourself Eye & Cheek Palette, it’s even prettier in person than in pictures and the colors are perfect for me. I also love the unicorn theme and how cool is it that Tarte gave me unicorn tissue paper in my box!

What’s to love?

First up the packaging is so pretty, the outside of the compact is gold with a blue, pink and purple lid and it’s huge at 4.5″ in diameter.

This palette really has it all. It has one matte shade (that could even be used as a blush), 9 metallic eye shades and a white pearl highlighter. The shades are…

  • myth (matte nude)
  • magic (bronze)
  • wings (copper)
  • marvel (metallic sage)
  • trance (taupe slate)
  • fairy (metallic lavender)
  • mystic (blue pearl)
  • dream (turquoise)
  • crystal (iridescent champagne)
  • pixie (golden pink)
  • believe (pearl highlight)

The eyeshadow is a medium consistency, it felt a bit hard at first but once I worked it with my brush it got much softer and smoother. In my video below I tried out the fairy (metallic lavender) and crystal (iridescent champagne) and I think it looks so pretty!

All of the shades very pigmented and I really can’t decide which one I love best. This palette also has the classic Tarte vanilla scent which is my absolute favorite scent.

I have to say that I am just in love with this palette. It’s got an 80’s feel to me and now I really want the limited-edition wands and brush Set and the limited-edition spellbound glow rainbow highlighter.

I don’t care how old you are unicorns awesome!

I also did a short little first impression video on YouTube. Enjoy!

Urban Decay Full Spectrum Review

The Urban Decay Full Spectrum set is probably the boldest palette I own and the colors are just beautiful. This set is worth owning just to admire!

What’s to love?

First the packaging is so pretty. The black case has a raised rainbow Urban Decay logo on the outside and the inside has a huge mirror.

The palette itself has 21 rainbow shades in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and gray. You get 3 variations of each shade.

The colors are on the harder side. They are definitely not creamy, however I found the pigmentation to be really good. I found the best way to apply these shades is with a hard brush or by adding a bit of water which makes a nice eye liner.

They do blend with the right brush and I’m pleasantly surprised at how much I love the colors on me. They reds and purples look really nice with my fair skin and green eyes.

I swatched a few shades to show the pigmentation.

This palette retails for $55 but it’s on sale now at Urban Decay, Sephora and Ulta for $39.
