One of my favorite new scents for Spring is Fresh Cut Lilacs in the faceted purple packaging. The scent notes are: A just-picked blend of lilac bouquets, dewy greens and soft spring air.

The Wellness Collection is also a great pick for Mother’s Day. The collection has 4 scents: Avocado Extract, Blueberry Extract, Pomegranate Extract and Coconut Water. The products include a body lotion, fruit scrub, body butter, moisturizing body wash, hair mask, silky shave oil and more!

Sunshine Mimosa is a great new scent for Mother’s Day. It’s a bright, bubbly splash of champagne and the happy scent of sweet citrus. It smells amazing and is a great pick for people who love fruity, floral and happy scents!

Lush Rosebud Soap – Mother’s Day 2018

If you love roses then you are going to flip for the Lush Mother’s Day 2018 Rosebud Soap. I ordered this one from the UK and not only is it pretty but it smells amazing.

What’s to love?

The Lush Rosebud Soap has white rose petals, ylang ylang oil and orange which gives it a unique floral/fruity scent. It also has extra virgin olive oil that I love to keep my skin soft.

However, what’s so cool about this soap is that it’s part of the new 3D printed designs collection and it really does look like a work of art. The collection also includes Lemon ZestChamomile Lawn and Purple Loosestrife. The 3D design not only looks pretty but it also feels good on my skin.

You can see the Lush Rosebud Soap in my YouTube Lush Mother’s Day Haul video!

isIf you’re looking for a romantic Valentine’s Day gift consider the Lush Tisty Tosty Bath Bomb.

What’s to love?

Tisty Tosty is a bright pink Bath Bomb with whole rosebuds embedded into it. It smells like rose and jasmine. I’m not a full-on floral girl but this one smells so pretty. It also has lemon oil and orris root powder. The bottom is white and it gives off a creamy fluffy foam in the bath that makes my skin super soft.

What’s Inside the Lush Valentine’s Day Giant Rose Bombshell? (Demo)

Today I cut open the very beautiful Lush Valentine’s Day Giant Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb. This “giant’ makes for a really neat Valentine’s Day gift too.

The Valentine’s Day Giant Rose Bombshell weighs 24.6 oz. and costs $19.95 so I wanted to get more that one use out of this bath bomb. Luckily I was able to cut it apart with a butter knife. The scent is  rose absolute, rose oil and Sicilian lemon oil and it is pretty amazing!

The center has real yellow rose petals and you can see these in my YouTube video demo below!

TONYMOLY Liptone LipCare Stick Review

I received a TONNYMOLY Liptone LipCare Stick in my April Ipsy bag and I’m really digging it! TONYMOLY is a very cool company that started in 2006 in Seoul, Korea and they have a variety of adorable products like the Petit Bunny Gloss Bars.

What’s to love?

The TONYMOLY Liptone LipCare Stick comes in 3 flavors: Rose Blossom, Honey Moisture and Mint Light.

I got the Rose Blossom which has Bulgarian Rose Extract, Camellia Oil, Rosehip Oil and Shea Butter. This formula smells exactly like fresh cut roses and feels amazing on my lips.

However I’m not a huge fan of florals but that’s OK because I like the product so much. I’d really like to try the Light Mint which hasMediterranean Peppermint, Ceramide, Coconut Oil and Avocado Oil.

The Honey Moisture has New Zealand Manuka Honey, Shea Butter, Sunflower Seed Oil and Jojoba Oil.

Overall I really like these lipcare sticks!

Price: $10

Lush Baa Bar Bubble Bar for Mother’s Day 2017

Ah, I am so in love with the new Lush Baa Bar Bubble Bar. This cute little sheep smells so good!

What’s to love?

This luscious Bubble Bar is not only cute but it smells good too. At first I thought it was straight Lavender but it’s actually got Bergamot Oil, Clove Bud Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Rose Absolute, Violet Leaf Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil and Lavender Powder. It does smell very relaxing and the scent stayed with me.

The Baa Bar Bubble Bar is purple and white and I was surprised when I cut it in half that there was more purple. When I melted the purple part the bath water did turn a nice Lavender and the bubbles were pretty good.

Overall I think this one is very nice and would make an excellent Mother’s Day gift. It does come in the Best Friend’s Mother’s Day Gift too.

Lush Valentine’s Day Cupid Bath Bomb Review

The Lush Valentine’s Day Cupid Bath Bomb is new this year in the Lush Valentine’s Day 2017 line-up and it’s very cute. It would make a great gift too.

What’s to love?

Cupid is one of the lower priced Lush Bath Bombs and it is on the smaller side but it makes up for that in scent and color. Cupid is a mix of raspberry and roses and really does smell like Valentine’s Day! It dissolves is a super cute pattern too. You can see the pink heart center and the darker pink arrow as it melts. I do wish this one had a bit of shimmer to it.

Cupid also leaves the bath water a beautiful light pink and it soothed my skin. I’m thinking of getting three of these as a gift. They would look so cute in a box with rose petals. I love gifting Lush to my friends and family. They are always delighted by what I choose (thanks to Lush)!

Price: $5.25

C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve Review

I picked up 3 tins of the C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve Tins today at Bath & Body Works. They were Buy 2, Get 1 Free.

What’s to love?

When get dry and cracked fingers from the cold weather my go-to solution is the C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve. There’s nothing worse than trying to do dishes with cracked fingers so I try to heal these cuts as soon as possible.

The C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve is a miracle for cracked skin. It’s the consistency of Vaseline but with a rose tint and scent. You can use it on your lips, fingers, elbows, feet…really anywhere you have dry and cracked skin.

It’s thick when you rub it on so I try to blend it into my skin. I do feel like my skin is softer after using it and my cracked skin usually heals more quickly when I use it. I’m usually not a floral fan but this scent doesn’t bother me although I would prefer a peppermint scent.

The tin is cute too, it looks like something Laura Ingalls would have on Little House on thePrairie!

Now if only I could move to Hawaii!

The salve contains Petrolatum, Lanolin Oil, Squalene, Flavor (Aroma), Octyldodecanol, Gossypium Herbaceum (Cotton) Seed Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Extract, Bisabolol, Jojoba Esters, Red 30 Lake (CI73360) and is Made in the USA and it is Not Tested On Animals.

Beauty Reviews, Peter Thomas Roth

Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Review

All I can say is…”Why didn’t I try this product sooner”? A few weeks ago I got my mom the Peter Thomas Roth 5 pack mask set at Sephora and I’ve tried the Irish Moor Mud and 24K Gold and loved them both.

So today I tired the Rose Stem Cell and I’m thrilled with the results.

p2

What’s to love?

Peter Thomas Roth and GlamGlow are my two all time favorite masks at the moment. I use GlamGlow for deep exfoliating and Peter Thomas Roth for repair and moisturizing.

According the the PTR website the Rose Stem Cell which contains five rose plant stem cells which are Rose Commiphora, Desert Rose, Damas Rose, Pale Rose and White Rose and they are blended with four rose extracts which are Rosa Damascena, Rosa Canina, Rose Hip Seed and Rose Water. So a lot of rose going on there!

I applied to mask to my clean face. It is a gel and feels cool and smooth to the touch. It has a light floral smell that’s also fresh and clean smelling, very nice and now overpowering. I covered my entire face with a fairly thick coating and let it set for 10 minutes. I’ll have to say that during the 10 minutes my face felt amazing and moist.

I wiped it off with a cool washcloth as directed and I swear there was less product  on my face than I started with. I feel like it absorbed into my skin which was cool. Afterwards my skin looked very smooth and my pores seemed a lot smaller (and I have huge pores on my nose, cheeks and skin).

Overall I loved this mask and intend to keep using it a few times a week to calm and soothe my skin.
