ROSE FOREVER NEW YORK Spring Review & Unboxing

Thank you to Rose Forever New York for sending me a bouquet of roses in light pink! You can use the CODE: GIRLGEEK15 for $15 off on all bouquets on their website: https://bit.ly/2OPHmxN

I am thrilled with the light pink roses that Rose Forever New York sent me to review! They are beautiful and last for 1 year!

What are Preserved Roses? Each of our gorgeous arrangements are creatively designed and prepared. The preserved roses used at Rose Forever come from a well cultivated rose field. Each rose is cared for until it reached its peak, and then carefully picked. From there, each rose is treated with a formula to help preserve them.” – Rose Forever New York

My roses came in a black velvet box that I’m displaying in my living room for Spring! You can also get your bouquet in a clear crystal box or a pink suede box. They come in 3 sizes – 9, 16 and 36.

Lush Rose Bombshell Egg Demo & Review

So far every single product that I’ve tried in the Lush Spring 2019 line is amazing and the Rose Bombshell Egg is no exception.

What’s to love?

First up the Rose Bombshell is huge! As you can see in my hand. It comes in two split halves and it’s tied up with a brown paper ribbon.

The center is hollow and is filled with dried rose petals and salt and the scent it pure rose.

In my YouTube demo I used the bottom half with the roses and salt. This one floats like a boat and is a very fast fizz. Once the bottom breaks through the water pops the rose petals up. It’s super cool to watch.

The water from the Lush Rose Bombshell Egg turns a milky opaque light pink and it does leave a pink ring in the tub. I did find in fairly easy to rinse out.

The price is $9.95 and is a superb deal for how much product you get.

Lush Rock Star Soap Review

Lush has a huge selection of soaps to choose from and my goal is to try all of them. Luckily Lush always gives me a sample of soap with my online orders. This time I got Rock Star!

What’s to love?

Rock Star is a pink hunk of soap that’s made from Glycerine , Rapeseed Oil (Brassica napus) , Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera) and Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla Planifolia). It smells sweet with a touch of something I just can’t put my finger on, maybe roses. To me it smells like bubble gum mixed with earthy sweet flowers.

The lather on this one is good and the color is a very pretty shade of pink. Although I have to say this one isn’t my favorite Lush scent but I’m not a fan of anything floral and this one keeps reminding me of roses. Perhaps it’s on homage to Guns ‘N Roses (ha! Gum N’ Roses…OK, bad joke), hence the Rock Star name but that’s just a guess.

Rock Star does get great reviews and the quality is amazing so you might want to check it out as it maybe your favorite!

Price: $7.95 for 3.5 oz.

Lush Frozen Bath Bomb Review

It’s like taking a bath at Elsa and Anna’s castle! Ok, maybe not but the Lush Frozen Bath Bomb is pretty cool.

What’s to love?

This one is really nice if you love roses and floral scents. While it’s not my personal favorite I can see why people love it so much. It’s a whirl of blue and silvery white shimmer and the scent is really strong.

The color is just amazing too, an arctic blue that reminds you of, well…Frozen! So Rose Oil, , Neroli Oil and Geraniol this could fast become a favorite for you. A bunch of the review also mentioned that it’s got a lot of glitter. Mine was shimmery but I didn’t have as much glitter as The Experimenter Bath Bomb.

This bath bomb is also a long one that takes about 8-10 minutes to dissolve and it did leave my feet and hands silky smooth.
