The April Sephora Play Box isn’t quite as exciting as last month when I got GlamGlow and Urban Decay but there’s a few nice things in this month to share.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion – The Primer Potion from Urban Decay is one of my favorites! Full-Sized Price: $24.00

Verb Ghost Oil – This clear hair oil is supposed to restore and revitalize hair from roots to ends.Full-Sized Price: $14.00

Josie Maran Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm – This is an anti-aging skin care finisher and makeup primer in one. It feel like marshmallow fluff! Full-Sized Price: $36.00

Atelier Cologne Clémentine California Cologne Absolue Pure Perfume – This one smells like oranges and is very pretty! Full-Sized Price: $130.00

Over all I give this month a 10/10 for the high-end brands.

I’m so excited that my December Sephora Play Box has arrived and it has 6 products this month! The theme for December is The Partygoers and the bag is super cool in black and copper.

Here’s what I got…

Urban Decay All Nighter Make-Up Setting Spray – I’ve been wanting to try out this setting spray and now I can! I can’t wait to see how it works. Full-Sized Price: $31

Detox Dry Shampoo – I’m always up for trying a new dry shampoo and this one smells nice. I might just gift this though. Full-Sized Price: $23

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Rose – This is a new fragrance created by Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen. It smells nice. Full-Sized Price: $85

Make-Up Forever Step 1 Skin Equalizer – This is another product that I want to try out. It says “Skin Equalizer triples the power of your foundation: easier application, optimized makeup result, improved wear.” Full-Sized Price: $37

Lancôme HYPNÔSE DRAMA Instant Full Body Volume Mascara – I love getting a mini mascara in my beauty boxes! This one is “An intense, black volumizing mascara that creates full-body, high-volume lashes in a single stroke.” Full-Sized Price: $27.50

Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Always Red – This is a pretty deep red lip stain from Sephora. Full-Sized Price: $14

I’m going to give this box a 9/10. I love the setting spray, mascara and skin equalizer however I’m not a huge fan of dry shampoo or perfume. But overall it’s a nice bag!

What’s inside the October 2016 Sephora Play Box!

This month is called “The Cool Cut” and the bag says “Lipstix & Chill” and I was a bit confused this month. Tip if you get this box…read everything!

Christope Robin Regenerating Mask –  I was totally sure this was a face mask until I started this blog post but lo and behold it’s a hair mask! Good thing I read about it. This mask as Rare Prickly Pear Seed Oil which sounds cool and it smells great. So hair…it goes on the hair! Full-Sized Price: $71.

Farmacy Skin Dew – I really need to start trying these hydrating sprays out. This one is “A versatile hydrating essence mist that tones the skin, restores radiance and sets makeup.” Full-Sized Price: $44

Mon Paris by Yves Saint Laurent  – Yves Saint Laurent reminds me of the ’80’s and this scent does smell nice. Very fruity and it comes in the cutest little spray bottle you’ve ever seen so 2 thumbs up for this one. Full-Sized Price: $122

Smashbox Always  On Matte Liquid Lipstick – I’ve tried this formula before and it’s a nice matte lipstick. This one is called Driver’s Seat. Full-Sized Price: $24

erborian Bamboo Creme – This creme is more of a gel and it smells really nice and earthy. It’s supposed to hydrate your skin. Full-Sized Price: $43

The Estée Edit Flash Photo Gloss – This product mystified me! I wasn’t sure if it went on your teeth or lips. It’s actually a white gloss that’s infused with “cool blue pearls” to bring out your smile. It’s supposed to smell like vanilla but my has very little scent. I did try it on and it looks like clear sticky lip gloss to me. Full-Sized Price: $20

Overall I give this month a 9/10 only because I was so confused! Good thing I didn’t put the Flash Photo Gloss on my teeth! I did feel like I got a lot of high-end product this month so that was good.

Sephora Rouge Shine – This is the cutest little lipstick I have ever seen. It’s tiny but perfect for a purse! The color is N0. 14 Love Spell and it’s Made in France. Full-Sized Price: $12.50

Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation – I have a sample of this oil-free moisturizer and love it so getting another one is a nice bonus! Full-Sized Price: $38

Atelier Cologne Sud Magnolia – While this floral woodsy cologne smells good I’m just not that into in, but it’s nice if you are.  Full-Sized Price: $90

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper – I am super excited to try out this Satin Black eyeliner from Kat Von D. Full-Sized Price: $20

Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel – I am also super excited to try out this clear conditioning brow gel! Full-Sized Price: $20

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day – This is the night cap overnight perfector. You apply to wet hair, leave it in all night then wash out in the morning. It’s not supposed to wreck your pillow either! Looks interesting. Full-Sized Price: $28

Overall I am giving this month a 9.8 only because I’m not crazy about the cologne. Otherwise I al thrilled with the selection this month.

August 2016 Sephora Play Box Review

The Sephora Play Box costs $10/month and you have to sign up to get invited. My invite took about a week and this is my second box. You also get a card that goods for 50 Sephora points with purchase which is pretty cool.

This month the theme is “The Eye Openers” and it has everything for your eyes.

Here’s what I got in the August 2016 Sephora Play Box!

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara – This is my favorite product. I always get excited about mascara because I rarely keep mine longer than 60 and I like to have a nice supply on hand. Perversion looks really nice. Full-Sized Price: $22.00

Sephora Contour Eye Pencil – This Taupe Shimmer pencil seems so small! Being a Sephora product it would have been nicer if it was a bit larger but it will get some use, it’s a nice pencil. Full-Sized Price: $10.00

Clean Reserve Parfum – This scent is way to strong for me. It’s a really bold clean scent but STRONG! Full-Sized Price: $90.00

Lancome Énergie de Vie The Smoothing & Glow Boosting Liquid Care – This one is going to my MIL. She love Lancome. It’s supposed to wake up your skin. Full-Sized Price: $55.00

Caudale Resveratrol Lift Eye Lifting Balm – I’m always willing to try new eye life products so I’m curious to check out this brand. Full-Sized Price: $62.00

Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow – The eye shadow is another favorite of mine. I love this shimmery copper color and will use this one. Full-Sized Price: $21.00

Overall I’d give this box an 8. I like that I got 6 products this month and the Urban Decay Mascara was awesome. I doubt I’ll use the perfume or Lancome product and I will they gave us a larger Sephora eye pencil, but still a decent box.
