Bath & Body Works Country Apple Collection

I headed back to the Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual Sale today and I picked up 3 items from the 90’s throwback Country Apple because it smells so good, just like fresh apples.

ca

My Bath & Body Works had Country Apple in the Fine Fragrance Mist, Body Lotion, Ultra Shea Body Cream and Shower Gel (not pictured).

The scent has McIntosh Apple, Apple Blossom, Fresh Muguet, Sheer Sunlight, Orchard Woods which is basically all apple! It reminds me a bit of the Yankee Candle McIntosh scent and it’s really fresh.

I’m not sure when Bath & Body Works is getting this scent back so I wanted to stock up and for about $3 each I feel like I got a steal!

Today 6/10 you can get 20% OFF $25 Code: STOCKUP

Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual Sale Haul Challenge

Today I stopped by my Bath & Body Works store for their June Semi-Annual Sale with the challenge to spend $40 so that I could use my $10 off $40 coupon. I did pretty well as my total was $33.12 plus $2.32 tax = $35.44

It seems like the stores and website have different products on sale. There were more 75% off products in my store than online.

Here’s what I got. The prices reflect the $10 coupon added in.

Bath & Body Works French Collection Review

Today I picked up a few items from the Bath & Body Works French Collection and I was happy to find out they had something for both fruit/candy and floral lovers.

bbf.jpg

First up are the 4 France inspired Body Creams that come in

  • French Riviera – Has seaside citrus, jasmine water, amber musk, summer fig and driftwood.
  • Rose Champagne – Has sparkling clementine, crisp bergamot, apple blossom, pink pepper and blonde woods.
  • Bonjour Paris – Has pink sugarcane, whipped marshmallow, candied orange blossom, white honeysuckle and fluffy amber.
  • La Fleur – Has French tulips, waterlily, freesia blossom, sparkling mandarin and sandalwood.

My favorites are the fruity Rose Champagne and the candy Bonjour Paris.

You can also get these scents in the Fine Fragrance Mist, Shower Gel, Body Lotion and Bath Fizzies.

I also got Bonjour Paris and La Fleur in the new square body lotions. I love these bottles!

Finally I picked up 5 of the French foaming hand soaps that are the LA COLLECTION FRANÇAISE line.

These hand soaps come in:

  • French Tulips – Has white jasmine, lily of the valley & sparkling nectarine.
  • Raspberry Rose – Has raspberries, pink rosé & fresh picked apple.
  • Waterlily & Lilac – Has crisp green apple, lilac blossom & dewy jasmine.
  • Springtime in Paris – Has citrus zest, peach blossom & peony petals.

I really love all 5 of these scents and the bottles are so pretty and Springy!

Bath & Body Works Shea Butter Hand Cream Review

One of my favorite new products from Bath & Body Works are the 1 fl. oz. Shea Butter Hand Creams and they are on sale today March 22nd for $2.95 online and in stores. These are so nice!

What’s to love?

First up I just love the size of these tubes. They are perfect for purses or gifts and the artwork is adorable.

bb.jpg

They come in 20 scents including: Vanilla Butter Cream, Black Cherry Merlot, Fiji White Sands, Sparkling Limoncello, French Lavender, Sweet As Strawberries, Pretty As A Peach, Jamaica Pineapple Colada, Heart Of Gold, Mint To Be, You Are My Sunshine, Maui Mango Mai Tai, Aloe-Ha, Peach Bellini, Forever Pink, Watermelon Lemonade and my favorite, Eucalyptus Spearmint.

I have seven scents and they are amazing. The white cream has a twist-off top on the tube and has Shea Butter and Vitamin E to soften hands. I think these are more like a small version of the Ultra Shea Body Cream only for hands and in new scents. They do wonders for my hands too.

I included 2 of the “green” scents in my Bath & Body Works St. Patrick’s Day Haul too if you want to check it out.

Bath & Body Works Oahu Coconut Sunset Review

Bath & Body Works has a new line of Hawaii scents that includes Oahu Coconut Sunset which is actually a redo scent from a few years ago with packaging. I really love this Hawaiian coconut scent.

bb1

The top notes are Birds of Paradise, Coconut Blossom, Sparkling Bergamot. The mid notes are Seductive Tuberose, Tiger Lily, Hawaiian Monoi and the dry notes are Sensual Labdanum, Molten Amber, Cream Suede Accord.

However to me it just smells very Hawaiian! You get this scent in the Ultra Shea Body Cream, Body Lotion, Shower Gel, Fine Fragrance Mist, Aloe Gel Lotion and the Sand & Sea Salt Scrub.

I got the…

Oahu Coconut Sunset Ultra Shea Body Cream which feels amazing. This  one really does a great job of moisturizing my skin. It has Aloe Butter, Cocoa Butter and Coconut Oil in it and it’s not greasy for me.

bb2

Oahu Coconut Sunset Fine Fragrance Mist – I usually don’t like the fragrance mist products but this one is very nice. It seems lighter than the Christmas scents and the spray is a very, very fine mist. Once the spray settles is smells pretty amazing.

bb3.jpg

Oahu Coconut Sunset Sand & Sea Salt Scrub – I am so excited about the new Sand & Sea Salt Scrub. This one has Polynesian sand and real sea salt which makes for a great exfoliant and it smells amazing. It seriously feels like I’m at the beach. I love that Bath & Body works is coming out with new scrubs.

Check out the entire Bath & Body Works Hawaii line on my YouTube video. There’s also 3 more Hawaii  scents including: Fiji Pineapple Palm, Waikiki Beach Coconut and Bali Blue Surf.

Bath & Body Works CocoShea Coconut Body Buff Review

I wanted to share the last scent in the new Bath & Body Works CocoShea collection which is Coconut. I already reviewed the Honey and Cucumber scents and the Coconut one is just as nice.

What’s to love?

The entire CocoShea line is just amazing and I love the store displays. I snapped this pic at my Bath & Body Works and as you can see the display is quite nice and you can test all the products. I also got the sponge.

cc5.jpg

The CocoShea Coconut line includes Body Wash, Whipped Body Butter, Lightweight Body Oil, Body Lotion and the Body Buff which I purchased.

The CocoShea Coconut Body Buff is so nice. It has Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter and Coconut Oil with coconut shells and sugar crystals for the smoothing  factor. I would say the exfoliation factor is light to medium.

I have to say that the scent of this one is mellow. It smells like natural coconut for me without any added fragrance.

I did a comparison of the three CocoShea Scrubs on YouTube too.

I tried this out on my legs and it really made them smooth. I think this will be a great Summer product for my skin. I really want to add the Whipped Body Butter to my collection too.

Price: $13.50 (but be on the look-out for sales and coupons).

Lush Each Peach (And Two’s A Pair) Massage Bar Review

Ah Lush! You just have too many nice products including the Lush Each Peach (And Two’s A Pair) Massage Bar. Each Peach is a solid lotion that makes my skin feel amazing.

 What’s to love?

The funny thing about Each Peach is that it doesn’t smell like peach but it leaves my skin feeling as soft as a peach. Each Peach actually has a nice citrus scent from the lime oil, sweet wild orange oil, mandarin oil and grapefruit oil.

To use the Each Peach Massage Bar you just rub the bar onto dry skin and use it as a lotion. It melts very nicely into my skin. I’ve also used it in the shower and after a bath. It’s really a solid lotion that you can use any way that works best for you.

The ingredients include Shea butter, avocado butter and Mango Kernel Butter to moisturize skin. After I use this product my skin always feels silky and smooth and I like the strong citrus scent it leaves behind.

It is also a vegan product.

Price: $11.95

Tree Hut Passion Fruit & Guava Shea Sugar Scrub Review

Last Summer I reviewed the Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrubs in Original Shea and Pomegranate Acai and I love these scrubs so much I also picked up the Passion Fruit & Guava variety today at Ulta. I’m calling today Sugar Scrub Sunday!

What’s to love?

I’ve been using the Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub for about 5 years now and it’s definitely a favorite beside the Bath & Body Works Sugar Scrubs.

The sugar in this scrub is definitely a pretty strong exfoliant, but it moisturizes too. I love using it on my feet and elbows although I have used it on my entire body. It rinses clean and has very little lather to it.

This Passion Fruit & Guava Shea Sugar Scrub smells amazing. There are notes of passion fruit, guava, evening primrose and citrus. I literally smell like I just got home from Hawaii (I wish). It’s got a wonderful fruity smell that lasts after you get out of the shower too. I’ve had many people compliment me on the scent.

Tree Hut uses Certified Organic Shea Butter. It’s also Made in the USA and Not Tested on Animals. It’s also a great price. I paid $7.69 at Ulta at they seem to always have sale.

The other scents are Brazilian Nut, Coconut Lime, Original Shea, Hawaiian Kukui, Tropical Mango, and Pomegranate Acai.

Check out my YouTube review and demo too!

DIY Hack! Yep…I also use this one to clean my bathroom. It scrubs great and leaves the tub smelling so good.

Lush Yog Log Roulade Review

The final item from my Lush Boxer Day Sale is the Yog Log Roulade which smells like spicy caramel. Now I just have to wait for Christmas 2017 to arrive. I can’t wait.

What’s to love?

Roulade refers to the shape of this soap more than the formulation. A roulade (I had to look this up) is basically a rolled pastry or meat dish.

So the Yog Log is basically a rolled up bar of Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil and Ylang Yland Oil so it’s not exactly soap but more of a cream. The yellow coating is Fresh Honeydew Melon Pulp.

I actually find it a bit too creamy as soap but I love it as a shave cream. It’s not super bubbly but does leave my legs super smooth after shaving.

The caramel scent is a bit spicy and strong but I really liked it. I also have a feeling this bar will last awhile. It keeps its shape and I don’t use a lot for shaving.

Bath & Body Works A Thousand Wishes Review

I’ve been a fan of the Bath & Body Works A Thousand Wishes scent since it came out. To me it’s a mix of fruit, sugar and champagne. It’s an elegant scent but can be used for everyday.

According to Bath & Body Works it has notes of Sparkling Champagne, Twinkling Star Fruit, Golden Quince,Crystal Peonies, Purple Freesia, Gilded Amber, Almond Crème, Sugared Sandalwood and Velvet Musk.

Bath & Body Works A Thousand Wishes Ultra Shea Body Cream

The thick white body cream is super creamy and does wonders from my skin. I use a little in the morning as a moisturizer and for fragrance. I’m not a huge fan or perfume but love the scented creams. I also love the packaging, it’s a pink flower and purple ribbon against a pink foil sparkle backdrop. It looks so pretty on my make-up table!

Bath & Body Works A Thousand Wishes Diamond Shimmer Mist

The Diamond Shimmer Mist was new for 2016 and is 8.6 oz spray bottle that contains a thick sparkly pink and silver formula. The Diamond Shimmer Mist takes some getting used to. I only use a half-squirt as a little goes a long way. I sprayed my hand about 3 times to show how thick this spray is. It’s loaded with silver sparkle.

After spraying a half-squirt I rub it into my skin for a light scent and sparkle. The scent is really strong at first because this product contains alcohol. However once the alcohol evaporates you get s nice fragrance. I think this is one of the best ways to add sparkle to your skin!

A Thousand Wishes also comes in Eau de Parfum, Shower Gel, Body Lotion, Fragrance Mist, Foaming Sugar Scrub, Creamy Body Wash, Wallflowers and the 3-Wick Candle.
