Bath & Body Works CocoShea Cucumber Collection Review

I am loving the new Bath & Body Works CoCoShea line which consists of 3 scents. Honey, Cucumber and Coconut.

I picked up 2 products from the Cucumber line today and all I can say is…wow, these are fresh.

What’s to love?

The cucumber line really does smell so fresh. I think this one is going to be my new Summer favorite. Here’s what’s in the line.

CocoShea Cucumber Really Refreshing Aloe Gel Lotion – This product is a lotion/gel with a very soothing consistency and because it’s got aloe I can see that it will be great for sunburns too. It has Cocoa Extract, Shea Butter Extract and Cucumber Water and the formula is very light weight. It feels a bit slippery when you first apply it, but then it gets silky. I’m also wondering if it would feel even more refreshing after a little while in the refrigerator.

CocoShea Cucumber Really Refreshing Foaming Scrub – I am such a fan of scrubs and this cucumber one is divine. It’s got a nice rough pumice for cleansing and the gel formula feels so smooth and nice. I used this one on my hand and now they feel so soft.

The CocoShea Cucumber line also includes: Body Lotion, Body Wash and All Over Mist.

Overall I am so excited about having a new cucumber product to add to my beauty routine. This one really is refreshing and cool. Ha! Cool as a cucumber.

Lush Sea Vegetable Soap Review

I ventured out to Lush today and got a nice haul that I want to share with all of you. Now if you’ve never been to a Lush store and go for the first time be prepared for a real treat. The smell when you first walk in is so incredibly amazing. It’s a mix of fresh fruit, earthy floral, herbs, the ocean chocolate, vanilla and about 27 other scents you’ll want to learn about.

The first item in my haul is the Lush Sea Vegetable Soap which is one of my favorites.

What’s to love?

I think Sea Vegetable is definitely on my Top 10 Favorite Lush soap. This one is a beautiful opaque aqua color with black swirls and it looks like the ocean. Then on the top of the soap it’s got a crust of stimulating sea salt that’s is amazing for exfoliation.

Sea Vegetable also has lime, lavender and seaweed absolute and my skin feels so soft and invigorated when I use it. This scent is to relaxing to me, it really feels like a spa product.

See the Lush Sea Vegetable Soap in action!

I’m also starting a series of 2-minute Lush videos just to give you a little more information about the product. This one also has a little demo of the soap at the end. I hope you enjoy it.

Lush 93,000 Miles Shower Jelly Review

This week I tested out Lush 93,000 Miles Shower Jelly but unfortunately the scent is not my cup of tea.

Why it didn’t work for me.

I got this online so I had never smelled it before. The product comes in a tub and I could smell the scent way before I even opened it. To me it smelled like cinnamon with a twist. I think it was the Eucalyptus and Mint Infusion mixed with the cinnamon that got to me. It just wasn’t my scent. At all. The color however is beautiful!

I did try it in the shower because sometimes scents are different with use but it was still a no go for me. I also had a hard time hanging on to the product. This sucker is super slippery and I kept dropping it. I’d love to hear how to tackle this problem.

Why you should consider trying it.

After I tried 93,000 Miles I read some of the reviews on Lush and there are plenty of people who love this product and swear by its ability to soothe muscles. So if you’re going to try it I recommend going to Lush and smelling it first or getting a sample to try.

I’m still excited about the Shower Jellies. I just got a sample of Refresher which smells like lemon and I think I’m going to like this one a lot better!

Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub Review

Today I got to Ulta and stocked up on one of my favorite sugar scrubs with Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrubs in Original Shea and Pomegranate Acai.

I’ve been using Tree Hut for about 5 years now and love their products which are Made in the USA and not tested on animals. They do however contain fragrance, but it’s not stated whether it’s natural or not. I think both products smell really good.

What I love about Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub in Original Shea.

I love using the Tree Hut Sugar Scrubs after being at the beach. These scrubs are perfect for removing sun screen and beach grime (which I hate). The Original Shea has an awesome buttery almond scent with a hint of caramel. It also contains macadamia nut oil. While the product feels super gritty to the touch it melts quickly upon application and leaves your skin super soft and refreshed.

What I love about Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub in Pomegranate Acai.

acai

I love that the Pomegranate Acai version has a much lighter floral scent but it’s in no way overpowering or chemically. It smells super sweet and luscious. This white formula has tiny purple flecks in it. I’m not sure if they are seeds or beads.

Here are both scrubs on my arms Pomegranate Acai and then Original Shea.

I use the Tree Hut scrubs a few times per week in the Summer and my skin really glows.
