Too Faced Rich & Dazzling Sparkling Lip Gloss Review

I am loving the Too Faced Rich & Dazzling Sparkling Lip Gloss that I received in my April Premium Boxycharm box! Rich & Dazzling comes in 13 shades with a price of $21!

Rich & Dazzling is a truly “rich” and thick formula that literally sparkles! I have the shade Hidden Talents which is a deep hot pinkish mauve tone. It has flecks of gold sparkle too which gives it a multi-dimensional appearance. It literally sparkles!

Hidden Talents is a pretty dark shade and not one I would wear everyday but it’s great for a special occasion or an evening ZOOM date! I’d love to get the clear sparkly Pant Off, Dance Off shade next.

The formula feels nice on my lips but is pretty thick and it has decent staying power for a lip gloss. I’m loving it!

The packaging also makes me feel like royalty with a pink cap and gold emblem. It looks so pretty on my make-up table!

Also be sure to check out my Boxycharm unboxing video as I try the Rich & Dazzling Lip Gloss on!

Too Faced Melted Chocolate Liquified Long Wearing Lipstick Review

I got a sample of the Too Faced Melted Chocolate Liquified Long Wearing Lipstick in Chocolate Milkshake in my 2016 Christmas In New York Too Faced The Chocolate Shop and I’ve just spent the last 10 minutes smelling it!

What’s to love?

Aside from the chocolate scent which is wonderful (because of the cocoa-powder-infusion) I really like Melted Chocolate. The fuzzy tip applicator is really unique. It’s a fuzzy pad and you squeeze the product up through holes in the top. The fuzzy applicator makes it easy to stay in control while you apply the lipstick.

The Chocolate Milkshake color that I have is a nice light toffee brown and I think it looks amazing. I also liked the feel of it on my lips, it’s light and non-drying. The Melted Chocolate line also comes in Chocolate Cherries, Chocolate Honey, Metallic Chocolate Diamonds, Metallic Frozen Hot Chocolate and Metallic Candy Bar.

Overall I am super impressed with this line. It has great staying power and it’s beautiful. I’d love to try a few more shades. After all, you can never have too much lipstick!

Too Faced Country Palette Review

I ordered the Too Faced Country Palette online using a coupon I got for registering on their site which was really exciting. Not only does Too Faced deliver a wonderful product, their packaging is great too, love the pink paper. I also got a sample of Born this Way for the face and lips/

What’s to love about the Country Palette?

The palette comes in a metal hinged box that’s feels pretty weighty, not flimsy at all.

This cute little country inspired palette has some amazing colors including my new favorite, Paper Roses (which is pink). I haven’t worn pink eye shadow since high school and an now kicking myself for waiting so long. It complements hazel eyes really well.

The palette is divided up into 3 looks.

  • Day – Cowboy Take Me Away, Y’All, Dolly
  • Casual – Famous in a Small Town, Paper Roses, Rhinestone
  • Fashion – All American Girl, Nashville, Bluebird

I included the swatches below. Rhinestone is a beautiful purple, as is Bluebird and the nude highlighter colors are just perfect. All of the shades apply really easily as the powders are so fine.

I especially love this palette for women over 40 (like me) as the pigments are not super strong. The light colors really open up your eye nicely.

You can also get the Rock & Roll palette which has darker shades.

I am wearing Paper Roses, Rhinestone and Famous in a Small Town with black mascara.
