What’s to love?

My favorite shade is the White Lie. You can apply these over Vice Lipstick shade to rev them up a bit and give them a special effect. They are the consistency of lipgloss and it’s like adding a shine or glitter to your lips which is pretty cool. You can add a thick or thin coat for different effects.

According to Urban Decay they come in shimmer, glitter and metallic finishes and they are a gel-cream which makes sense. It was not sticky for me and I had good lasting power (4-6 hours).

This is the White Lies shade alone.

Urban Decay Vice Metal Meets Matte Lipstick Palette Review

I went a little Urban Decay crazy over the holidays and ended up with some amazing deals. The Urban Decay Vice Metal Meets Matte Lipstick Palette is one of mu favorites.

What’s to love?

The Urban Decay Vice lipstick line is an all time favorite of mine so when I saw this palette on sale it was a “must have”.

It’s a neat palette because it has “metallized shades up top, with coordinating matte shades underneath” and my favorite Amulet shade.

You also get a neat brush so that you can layer on the go. I really love the variety of this palette and of course the quality is excellent.

The top also flips over with side hinges so that your lipsticks are protected. How cool is that? And yes — Lipstick is my Vice!

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Crisis Review (plus a free sampler pack)

Earlier this week Urban Decay sent me an e-mail that I could get a free Vice Lipstick sample pack if I ordered a Vice Lipstick. Well I couldn’t resist as I’ve been dying to get my hands on one of these sample packs. I also got free shipping and a sample pack of the All Nighter Liquid Foundation too.

This is my second Vice Lipstick and I chose Crisis which is a cream.

What’s to love?

The Vice lipstick is amazing! I bought the Rapture shade in June and having been wearing it all Summer. This time I chose a darker cream with Crisis which is a dark berry, it feels like it’s in the raisin family.

The thing I love about Vice is the pigmentation and staying power. The color is brilliant and lasts through lunch. My lips also feel extremely moisturized with this formula which I will love when the weather turns colder.

Vice has zero scent or taste and also feels light on my lips. This is truly one of my all time favorite lines of lipstick.

My free sample pack.

Urban Decay sample packs are so nice. This one contains 24 blister packs of Vice that you can apply with a lip brush. I love that they included mattes, creams, metallics and shimmers to try out.

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Review

Today I finally picked up one of the new Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks and I’m in love with this line. 100 shades of perfection. If only I could afford every shade.

What I love, love, love about Urban Decay Vice.

This lipstick is divine! It goes on super smooth and my lips feel amazing. Not sticky or gooey at all. The color is deep and covers completely which makes for a beautiful look. It’s also long lasting. My lips survived eating a granola bar and iced tea. I’m hoping it survives pizza too!

The case is classic Urban Decay with a gun metal violet and gold case with the Urban Decay name and logo. The case feel weighty and durable.

The color and finish.

I chose the Rapture shade which is a cream. Rapture is a nice dusty rose color. You can also choose shades in sheer, metallized, comfort matte, mega matte and sheer shimmer.

This is a high quality lipstick for a great price. I’ve gotten mush lessor quality for more money so even though you’re paying $17 for one tube you’re getting a truly spectacular lipstick.

Next up I want to try Tilt which is an orangey comfort matte and Sancho which is a metallized red.
