Who remembers the Avon decanters? These were such a part of my childhood and I’m thrilled that Avon has brought them back.
The new Avon Limited-Edition Mesmerize Sports Car Decanter is here just in time for Father’s Day and it’s so sleek and cool.
First up the Mesmerize Sports Car Decanter comes in a super neat blue and white box that looks like a license plate and it feels hefty. The blue glass car has a deep sapphire hue and the cologne is Mesmerize which is a blend of zesty bergamot, cool cardamom and rich precious woods.
I had my husband do a sniff test and he was pretty impressed. It also looks neat on our dresser so a thumbs up from me too!
The Avon Anew Vitamin C Antioxidant Lip Treatment is an orange stick that has the consistency of lipstick with a light orange scent.
It has vitamins C and E for lip conditioning and you can wear it alone or under your favorite lipstick. I’ve done both!
I like that I can wear this one alone to the beach or on a hike or put it under my lipstick for extra moisture. I feel like it works really well under matte shades too. I’m almost 50 and I love how it make my lips look and feel. It’s not sticky at all and feels sheer on my lips. The orange scent make it even better as I love oranges!
Avon has completely revamped their starter kits for April 2019 and it’s easier (and greener) than ever to join. Starting today (April 3rd) you can join Avon for $30 and get a free gift.
Avon is going green! The old Avon starter kits had a lot (and I mean a lot) of paper products (like an order book, catalogs and flyers) for door-to-door sales. However, the new kits are more “green” and geared toward the digital Avon rep which I love. Being an Avon Rep in 2019 means less paper waste and more online interaction. I rarely use the Avon books, instead I just send people to my digital brochure which I can e-mail, text and share on social.
The new kits also make it easy to sign up friends and family because they get an awesome gift for just $30 (and just 2 catalogs). My favorite choice is the My BFF: Best Face Forever set because it includes the Anew Ultimate Supreme Dual Elixir which is a $34.99 value and one of my favorite products.
What’s cool about Avon is that you can make it your own.
You can buy new productsand demos for yourself and family.
As a beauty blogger you can review Avon products for your blog. $30 gets you a nice set of Avon best sellers to review.
Sell to friends and family with your eStore link or sign them up to be on your own team for $30.
Branch out and start building your business and team. The Avon KickStart Program for new reps lets you get 40% off your first order and more incentives when you reach sales goals AND you get fun incentives like High Five — For every 5 of your customers who place a qualifying $50+ order in your online store, you’ll earn a $25 bonus.
So the sky is the limit (big or small) depending on how much time and effort you want to spend — and it’s a lot of fun.

I have got major Spring fever so I decided to bring 3 of my favorite pink lipsticks front and center to banish the Winter blues. From left to right and top to bottom swatched (MAC, Urban Decay and Avon).
Here goes…take that Winter!
MAC Liptensity Lipstick in Gumball – This creamy bubble gum pink lipstick is super creamy and silky with powerhouse staying power! Price: $22
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Big Bang – The Urban Decay Vice line has a whopping 135 shades of lipstick. I love the gunmetal case and the metallized hot pink of this one. It look good layered too. Price: $19
Avon True Color Lipstick in Tender Kiss – This rosy pink lipstick comes in 40 shades and is formulated with Shea Butter, Omega-6, Sunflower Seed Oil and vitamin E to keep lips soft into Spring.
I love mascara! It’s a daily staple for me and I’m alway trying new brands and formulas. I’m also a bit of a germaphobe so I swap out mascara after 30 days which means price is a factor for me. So far for Spring 2019 these 4 picks are making up my mascara hot list!
From Right to Left…
ColourPop BFF Volumizing Mascara – The BFF mascara comes in 7 shades including Magenta which I might have worn in my 20’s! I have the Black on Black which suites me fine. Price: $8 which is a deal!
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara – The Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara is on the pricey side at $24 but I received this full-sized tube in my February GlossyBox so all is good. I love that it give my lashes a little curl! It is made in Italy and the metal tube is a work of art!
PUR Fully Charged Mascara– The PUR Fully charged mascara adds a bit of science (and volume) to your lashes. “It’s Mascara Powered by Magnetic Technology that attracts to each individual lash to strengthen, thicken, lengthen and separate for unparalleled performance.” WOW! Price: $22. I got this one in my PUS Mystery bag.
Avon True Color Super Extended Lengthening Mascara – The price is right on this Hypoallergenic formula that won’t clump, smudge, or flake. It does give my lashes some nice length and it has good wear. Price: $8.
The Avon Crave Lip Gloss comes in 12 scents including Hot Tea, Cucumber Spritzer, French Toast, Chocolate Brownie, Cherry Creamsicle (pictured below), Minted Apple, Birthday Cake, Pumpkin Latte, Strawberry Glaze, Citrus Sangria, Peach Bellini and Salted Caramel.
I tried out the red Crave Cherry Creamsicle scent today and love it. This shiny formula is infused with moisturizing vitamin E and has a pearl finish.
I really like wearing the Crave lip gloss by itself or layered on top of a matte lipstick shade. I love that you can get different shades from clear to brown. Crave gives my lips a nice shine and has decent staying power for a gloss.
The 0.3 fl. oz. tube is a cute size for a pocket or a purse and they would make super cute gifts for Easter baskets or Mother’s Day.
I’m pulling out the pink nail polish as we near Spring and here are a few of my favorites! I love pink nails because I feel like it lasts longer and is easy to touch up, of and of course it soooooo pretty!
Morgan Taylor in Plumette With Excitement – This was part of the Spring 2017 Beauty & The Beast Collection. Plumette With Excitement has a white base and is a light opaque pink. Morgan Taylor also has a really pretty dark pink called Be My Guest.
Julep in Stacie – This shade is Autumn Rose Crème but I love this deep pink for Spring!
I love this product because it keeps my lips in good condition, especially in the Winter months and I’d much rather wear a moisturizing lipstick than lip balm. I love having color on my lips!
The Avon True Color Nourishing Lipstick formula is “Infused with marine collagen and jojoba oil to nourish, plump and soften lips and fine lines”
Being almost 50 my lips tend to be on the dryer side and I can’t wear matte liquids because the really dry out my lips. I love this formula because it has a satin finish and my lips feel more moisturized when I wear it. I feel like it has a good pigmentation and wear for a satin finish.
