Lancôme Drama Liqui-Pencil Review

I received the a Lancome Drama Liqui-Pencil in Côte D’azur in my February 2018 Sephora Play Box. . This pencil comes in 4 matte shades and 20 metallic shades and the full-sized price is $23.

I was a huge Lancome girl in the 80’s and I’m thrilled to find a product that I like using today.

What’s to love?

The Drama Liqui-Pencil is a dream to apply and the color is gorgeous! I simply ran the pencil under my lower lashes and had no tugging or pulling — it literally glides on! You can smudge the color or leave as-is. The blue is really bright and I’d probably only wear this at a special event or an 80’s party but I’d like to try the Metallic Bronze shade for daily wear.

I also found the staying power to be amazing! I went 8-hours without any fading.

It is formulated without Parabens or Sulfates.

Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara Review

I received a Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara in my August 2017 Glossybox and here’s the scoop on the new mascara from Lancôme.

What’s to love?

Monsieur Big is truly a volumizing mascara. I have the 01 Big Is The New Black Shade and I’m wondering if more shades are coming.

The formula is super smooth applies very evenly with the large furry wand. All I needed was one stroke for complete coverage. It did not flake or smudge and I got 8-hours of wear out of it. I never have any need to wear mascara for 24-hours but it claims to last that long! It uses “supple waxes and polymers to adhere immediately to lashes”.

I’m excited to be using a Lancôme product too. They were a favorite for me in the ’80’s and their products are very good quality. Monsieur Big is appropriately Made in France too.
