I just got my hands on the new Bath & Body Works Gingham hand cream and I am thrilled with this scent. According to the Bath & Body Works press release Gingham is officially being released on April 15th in store and online.
Bath & Body Works notes include: Sweet citrus, blue freesia, sweet clementine and soft violet petals.
I find the Gingham to be a sweet fruity floral and I love it. It’s light enough to be worn during the day and it would make a pretty Summer evening scent. The fruit scent is definitely orangey!
Here are the products in the Bath & Body Works Gingham collection.
Fragrance: Eau De Parfum ($39.50), Fine Fragrance Mist ($14.50), Mini Perfume Spray ($12.50) and Diamond Shimmer Mist ($16.50)
Cleansers: Shower Gel ($12.50), NEW Moisturizing Body Wash ($12.50), Whipped Sugar Body Scrub ($16.50) and PocketBac Hand Sanitizer ($1.75)

I switch out mascara like shoes! I’m always trying new brands and formulas and the Wander Beauty Mile High Club Mascara is this weeks pick! The tube is so bright I couldn’t even get a decent photo!
The Wander Beauty Mile High Club Mascara comes in a soft tube (which a lot of companies are now doing) that kind of looks like lip gloss. It’s a volumizing and lengthening formula that is Made in Korea.
The wand is very fine and it does lift and separate my lashes really well. I like that it only took one coat and it lasted all day. I’ll definitely use this one up!
First up the packaging on the new Bath & Body Works line is so cute. It looks like vintage beachy postage stamps and has a very retro feel.
The Waikiki Beach Coconut Milk Body Scrub smells so good too. The scent includes beach coconut, pink passionflower, saltwater breeze, fresh bamboo & sun-bleached woods. To me it smells sweet (but not too sweet) with a beach floral undertone.
The exfoliation is light to medium and super creamy and it gives off some nice fluffy moisturizing bubbles and my skin felt fresh and smooth after I used it. I think this is my new favorite sugar scrub for Spring!

The Bath & Body Works Foody candles are now foaming hand soaps and they are in stores and online! The 5 scents include:
Key Lime Biscotti
Pink Petal Teacake
Cinnamon Sugared Donut
I think my favorite is the Blueberry Crumble and I’m not sure I love the Pink Petal Teacake, it’s a bit too rosie for me! Overall this collection is amazing. Check out my video reveal on YouTube for the full scoop!
So my first question was — What’s a Cherimoya? It’s actually an an edible fruit-bearing species and its secondary name is custard apple.
The Havana Tropical Vanilla & Cherimoya collection includes the Ultra Shea Cream, Body Lotion, Shower Gel, Fine Fragrance Mist and the Protective Hair Perfume which I still need to get.
The notes in this one are tropical vanilla, cherimoya fruit, tiare flower, bergamot and ocean driftwood.
To me this one is a fruity floral with hint of vanilla. I’d describe the scent as a deep and musky. I can definitely detect the orange and vanilla and I think the ocean driftwood give it the musky scent. It’s very nice!
I also love the packaging which is white and blue with an old world island look. I love the postage stamp design too.
You can see me demo entire Island Tropicals collection on YouTube too:
I’ve acquired a lot of products from the Pretty Vulgar cosmetic line through my beauty boxes like Boxycharm and I wanted to share my thoughts. This fairly new company has an entire line of product that revolves around a retro vintage bird theme (their mascara even has a bird on top) and they are super cute products. They are also cruelty free, fragrance free, gluten free, paraben free and sulfate free.
I have the…
Make Them Blush blush in the shade Hush Blush $26
The Ink Gel Eyeliner $24
Nightingale Palette $35
Bronze Mannikin Bronzer $32
I love the retro looks of these products and the quality is pretty good. I wear the blush often and the eyeshadow palette is super pigmented and pretty. I love the bronze Clutch shade below and that bird cage design is awesome!
I’d say my only issue is their price point. $32 for the Bronze Mannikin Bronzer is really high and the case isn’t super impressive. I would not have gotten this one outside of Boxycharm. Their lipsticks are pretty too but at $24 a pop that’s higher than MAC.
So while I love this line it’s a bit too pricey for me. My hope is that once they get more established their prices come down a bit.
I have got major Spring fever so I decided to bring 3 of my favorite pink lipsticks front and center to banish the Winter blues. From left to right and top to bottom swatched (MAC, Urban Decay and Avon).
Here goes…take that Winter!
MAC Liptensity Lipstick in Gumball – This creamy bubble gum pink lipstick is super creamy and silky with powerhouse staying power! Price: $22
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Big Bang – The Urban Decay Vice line has a whopping 135 shades of lipstick. I love the gunmetal case and the metallized hot pink of this one. It look good layered too. Price: $19
Avon True Color Lipstick in Tender Kiss – This rosy pink lipstick comes in 40 shades and is formulated with Shea Butter, Omega-6, Sunflower Seed Oil and vitamin E to keep lips soft into Spring.
So far every single product that I’ve tried in the Lush Spring 2019 line is amazing and the Rose Bombshell Egg is no exception.
What’s to love?
First up the Rose Bombshell is huge! As you can see in my hand. It comes in two split halves and it’s tied up with a brown paper ribbon.
The center is hollow and is filled with dried rose petals and salt and the scent it pure rose.
In my YouTube demo I used the bottom half with the roses and salt. This one floats like a boat and is a very fast fizz. Once the bottom breaks through the water pops the rose petals up. It’s super cool to watch.
The water from the Lush Rose Bombshell Egg turns a milky opaque light pink and it does leave a pink ring in the tub. I did find in fairly easy to rinse out.
The price is $9.95 and is a superb deal for how much product you get.
