Bath & Body Works CocoShea Cucumber Collection Review

I am loving the new Bath & Body Works CoCoShea line which consists of 3 scents. Honey, Cucumber and Coconut.

I picked up 2 products from the Cucumber line today and all I can say is…wow, these are fresh.

What’s to love?

The cucumber line really does smell so fresh. I think this one is going to be my new Summer favorite. Here’s what’s in the line.

CocoShea Cucumber Really Refreshing Aloe Gel Lotion – This product is a lotion/gel with a very soothing consistency and because it’s got aloe I can see that it will be great for sunburns too. It has Cocoa Extract, Shea Butter Extract and Cucumber Water and the formula is very light weight. It feels a bit slippery when you first apply it, but then it gets silky. I’m also wondering if it would feel even more refreshing after a little while in the refrigerator.

CocoShea Cucumber Really Refreshing Foaming Scrub – I am such a fan of scrubs and this cucumber one is divine. It’s got a nice rough pumice for cleansing and the gel formula feels so smooth and nice. I used this one on my hand and now they feel so soft.

Also here’s a comparison and demo all three of the CocoShea scrubs on YoutTube.

The CocoShea Cucumber line also includes: Body Lotion, Body Wash and All Over Mist.

Overall I am so excited about having a new cucumber product to add to my beauty routine. This one really is refreshing and cool. Ha! Cool as a cucumber.

I shared my Bath & Body Works CocoShea Haul on YouTube too so do check it out!

Wow Is Right Lush! The 2016 Lush Wow Box is amazing.

If you’re looking for the granddaddy of Lush gifts (and you have a spare $299.95) you’re going to want to check out the 2016 “Wow” Christmas box. I would faint if this showed up on my doorstep.

The box itself is so cool too. It’s a stop sign shaped 1970’s themed colorful hippie box with a big purple cord to tie it all up.

Burt’s Bees Hive Favorites Holiday Gift Set Beeswax 2 Piece Set

I love giving Burt’s Bees for Christmas because everyone love it so much! I picked up this Burt’s Bees Hive Favorites Holiday Gift Set Beeswax 2 pc from Target for $4.99 for my MIL.

What’s to love?

I am a huge fan of the Burt’s Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm, it smells amazing and always keeps my lips so soft.

You also get a Milk & Honey Body Lotion for normal to dry skin. This lotion is very nice and always leaves my hands smooth and moisturized.

I also love the red and gold holiday packaging. These make great little gifts and stocking stuffers.

I also picked up the Burt’s Bees Skin Essentials Tin Holiday Gift Set 5 pc for $5.99.

Bath & Body Works Sugar Plum Swirl Review

I think I’m finally done with my Bath & Body Works shopping for Christmas. My latest finds are from the Sugar Plum Swirl line.

What’s to love?

The Sugar Plum Swirl scent comes in the Shower Gel, Body Lotion, Fine Fragrance Mist, Ultra Shea Body Cream, Shea & Sparkle Scrub. I got the Body Cream and the Sparkle Scrub which is a beautiful blue shade with major sparkle.

I love that Bath & Body Works has another scent that isn’t traditional red, green and peppermint scented. Sugar Plum Swirl is a wonderful mix of fruits that include plum, tangerine, grapefruit, pear, nectarine and lots of sweetness. I love this scent!

The body cream is a great moisturizer and I’ve been using the sugar scrub now for a dew weeks and it’s done wonders for my skin. I hope they bring this back in the Spring with new scents.

Overall Sugar Plum Swirl is one of my fruity favorites!

Check out the new Bath & Body Works Bath Fizzes for Spring 2017 too.

Lush Charity Pot Hand And Body Lotion Review

Every time I go to my local Lush store I pick up a small pot of Charity Pot Hand And Body Lotion, our entire family loves this stuff and “100% of the purchase price (every single penny minus the taxes) goes towards supporting humanitarian, environmental and animal rights causes locally and around the world.” Which is so cool!

What’s to love?

Aside from the charity part which is awesome this hand and body lotion is my go-to lotion for dry hands and feet.

The formula is made from Fair Trade Shea Butter, Fair Trade Cocoa Butter and Fair Trade Olive Oil with a mix of Geranium Oil, Rosewood Oil, Ylang Ylang Oil and Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute for scent. This lotion has a woodsy floral scent that I really love and it’s so smooth and luxurious and it’s now in the self-preserving formula.

I love that Lush gives their customers a way to contribute to charity by purchasing their products. Just one more reason to love Lush!

Price: $7.95 for 1.7 oz.

Bath & Body Works Frosted Coconut Snowball Scent Review

One of the coolest Bath & Body Works holiday scents is Frosted Coconut Snowball which is new for 2016.

What’s to love?

Frosted Coconut Snowball is perfect for people like me who like coconut scents year round. I love that Bath & Body Works packaged a coconut scent around a holiday theme. The packaging on Frosted Coconut Snowball is a cute snowman or sled with a blue background which is nice for people who want to decorate with colors other than the traditional red and green.

The scent smells like coconut, Hawaii and a bit of vanilla/mint which adds a holiday touch. You can get the Shower Gel, Ultra Shea Body Cream, Body Lotion, Deep Cleansing Hand Soap, Fine Fragrance Mist, Pocket-Bac, Shea & Sparkle Scrub and Gentle Foaming Hand Soap in this scent.

According to the label Frosted Coconut Snowball has notes of Frosted Coconut, North Pole Vanilla, Winter Freesia, Snowkissed Woods and Spun Sugar.

I have to say that I love that Bath & Body Works has added so many new products and scents for 2016. The hardest part is deciding which ones to choose!

2016 Bath & Body Works Holiday Traditions Snowman Bucket (full of products) Review

Oh Bath and Body Works! I can’t stay away during the holidays! I stopped by today to use a coupon and discovered the 2016 very limited edition Holiday Traditions Snowman Bucket. I am so glad I went today as my store was running out of them. This adorable snowman comes with 10 Bath & Body Works products and costs $25 with a $30 purchase. I was also able to use my 20% off coupon so it was only $20. It’s an $85 value.

What’s to love?

I think this Snowman Bucket is just so cute. I got it for my daughter for Christmas and not only is it super adorable it’s got 10 Bath & Body Works products inside and it’s a bank! The Snowman measures 7.5″W x 9.5″H.

I am such a sucker for holiday themed gifts and I could not pass this one up. I actually swapped out the foaming hand soaps for some Magic In The Air Diamond Shimmer Mist, A Thousand Wishes Diamond Shimmer Mist and a sparkly holder for the mist (these are not included in the bucket) however I wanted to give my daughter a nice variety and I wanted the foaming hand soap.

Here are the 10 products you get in the snowman and the two scents you get are Vanilla Bean Noel and Winter Candy Apple which are from the Christmas line and not yet in stores.

  1. Vanilla Bean Noel Body Lotion (8 fl oz)
  2. Shower Gel (10 fl oz)
  3. Fine Fragrance Mist (8 fl oz)
  4. Gentle Foaming Hand Soap (8.75 fl oz)
  5. PocketBac (1 fl oz)
  6. Winter Candy Apple Travel Size Body Lotion (3 fl oz)
  7. Travel Size Shower Gel (3 fl oz)
  8. Travel Size Fine Fragrance Mist (3 fl oz)
  9. Gentle Foaming Hand Soap (8.5 fl oz)
  10. A pampering shower sponge.

Here’s a picture I snapped at the store that shows exactly what you get in the bucket.

Kiss My Face Olive & Aloe Lotion Review

My mother has been using the Kiss My Face Olive & Aloe Lotion for years so I decided to test it out for myself.

What’s to love?

Kiss My Face is an awesome brand that is Cruelty-Free and great for sensitive skin like my mom has. She’s never had any irritation or redness and she uses it on her face and body.

The white formula is fragrance-free although it does have a very mild scent that just smells like lotion if that makes sense.

It really moisturized my skin well and didn’t have a greasy feel at all. I used it on a dry patch on my elbow and it really softened up the skin.

Overall I’d use this lotion for dry Winter skin, I think it’s a great value for the price as the bottle lasts my mom for about 3 months.

The formula is also paraben and phthalate free and it’s Made in the USA.

Price $9.99

Aveda Shampure Body Lotion Review

I’ve been wanting to review the Aveda Shampure Body Lotion for a few weeks now. I am a huge fan of the classic Shampure scent which has a completely distinctive Aveda smell and I love it.

In case you were wondering! Why does Bonnie use a bush behind her beauty products? Good lighting is the key to great photos and I find that a green background in natural light helps light products pop! There you have it. Mystery solved : )

What’s to love?

Like Clinique, Aveda is one of my go-to classic brands that I absolutely love. The Shampure scent has been around forever and the smell is a stress reliever to me. I’ve had this bottle of body lotion on my desk for ages and use it on my hands and arms although you can use it after a shower too.

It has 25 pure flower and plant essences and the scent is pure Aveda. Most people either love or hate it because it’s so strong.

This body lotion leave my skin smooth and hydrated and I love using it after I’ve been in the sun.
