Sephora Play Box May 2017 Review

*Spoiler Alert! I’m showcasing the May 2017 Sephora Play Box today. The Sephora Play Box costs $10/month and you have to sign up to get invited.

The theme for May is The Rising Star and the bag is so cute. I love that Sephora did something different this month.

I created a video unboxing of the Sephora Play Box for May 2017.

Here’s a list of what I got in my May Sephora Play Box.

GrandeLIPS Hydrating Lip Plumper – I’m a little leery of lip plumpers and my lips are pretty plump naturally so I’m not sure about this one. I will probably try it though it looks like a good quality one. Full-Sized Price: $27

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask – This mask has “Eleven natural, non-toxic, and high-performance ingredients work together for a radiant complexion.” and I’m excited to try it. Full-Sized Price: $58

MILK MAKEUP Blur Stick – I have some Milk product that I like and this Blur Stick for minimizing pores looks interesting. Full-Sized Price: $36

trèStiQue Highlight & Perfect Multipurpose Stick – trèStiQue is fast becoming a favorite of mine and I can’t wait to try this pretty highlighter. Full-Sized Price: $34

Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt – The most exciting thing I got this month is this neat Sea Salt Scrub. It smells amazing and I can’t wait to try it. Full-Sized Price: $53

NEST Black Tulip – I also got a sample of the NEST Black Tulip which smells nice. Full-Sized Price: $72

I’m giving this month a 10/10!

September 2016 Birchbox Review

*Spoiler Alert! I’m showcasing the September  2106 Birchbox today.

Ah Birchbox! What happened this month? This is my 3rd Birchbox and I’ve been thrilled so far. I was expecting a special box this month because it’s their 6th Anniversary and while the products were nice I was expecting another “wow” factor product like a lipstick or mascara.

Here’s what I got this month…

Milk Makeup Highlighter – I am super excited to try this Milk highlighter. I’ll be doing a full review on this soon. Full-Sized Price: $24

Beauty Protector Blonde Toning Shampoo – This purple shampoo looks like an interesting product being that I have blonde hair and I’m curious to try it out. I believe Beauty Protector is a Birchbox brand because I can’t find much out about the company. Full-Sized Price: $23

Avene Thermal Sprig Water – This product gets great reviews it’s just not up my alley. It’s “A mineral-rich water mist for softening and relieving sensitive skin.” Full-Sized Price: $14

Klorane Waterproof Eye Make-up Remover – This is another product with good reviews and it’s supposed to remove mascara which is a win. Full-Sized Price: $16

The Organic Pharmacy Double Rose Rejuvenating Face Cream – This product is supposed to leave your skin “hydrated and glowing” and it’s pretty pricey! It does have a nice secnt Full-Sized Price: $88

So, I’m giving this months box a 7.5 because of the lack of a second make-up product and the Spring Water sample. However I can’t wait to see the October box. I’m still a fan of Birchbox and just because this wasn’t my favorite box I do love getting my surprise products every month.

How did you feel about Birchbox this month?
