Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Extreme Shimmer Shadow & Liner Review

I debated about buying the Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Extreme Shimmer Shadow & Liner today for about an hour. I swear once I get into Ulta I can’t leave. I was worried that this palette would be more suited for a 19-year-old but I was completely wrong. I love it and so does my 71-year-old mom!

What I love about the Disco Glam palette (besides the name).

This brand new Physicians Formula palette consists of 6 “highly-pigmented liquid powder eye shadows”. They feel more like a cream than a power, but are a bit flakey so they are not a true cream.

You get one triangle shaped sponge applicator and a super cool glitter case. The case reminds of the 80’s so of course I was enthralled, my guess is that Boy George would love this palette!

My two favorite shades are the purple and the far right light gold. I used both of these for my casual look. Although you can easily go for intense by adding a bit of water. You can also use these as an eye liner too although I didn’t attempt that yet.

The box says you can wear for 24-hours but that would be way past my bedtime, about 8 hours is all I need!

I am so glad I decided to pick up this palette today. Now I want the other colors. Copper Nude looks really pretty as it comes with aqua shimmer and rust shimmer.

All of the colors are metallic/shimmer. You get from right to left…dark brown, purple, mauve, dark gold, gold and light gold.

Physicians Formula is an awesome drugstore brand too. They are hypo-allergenic, fragrance free, paraben free, gluten free and cruelty free. I have been using their line since I was a teen.

This palette is Made in Canada.
