Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadow Review

I picked out the Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadow thinking it was a powder. I just liked the colors. The first photo is actually the bottom and then it opens up to reveal 4 creams and a mirror which is pretty cool. The case is nice.

I got the Black Magic palette. It also comes in Wild Orchids (purples), Not Just Nudes (beige tones), Precious Metals (a blue and 3 rose shades), Moonlit Jewels (4 jewel tones) and Skinlights (all neutral).

What’s to love?

Besides the neat compact and mirror the creme shadows are treat too. I’ve been wanting another white shade and I got two in this pack, one is a matte white and the other is a shimmery pearl. The pink and black shades also have a shimmer.

The colors are not super pigmented (they have a translucent look) but they do apply smoothly without creasing. I just applied them with my finger. They are great for a soft shimmery look and they did blend beautifully for me. I also think you could use the white shades as a highlighter.

The only thing I had to be careful of was smudging. The black didn’t work for me because I kept smearing it but I bought the palette for the white and pink. I would like to get the purple shades next.
