I am so excited to now have a Burt’s Bees Lipstick. I was at the Fresh Thyme Farmer’s Market again today and I picked up Fuchsia Flood while I was there.
What’s to love?
I’ve always loved the Burt’s Bees lip balm line so it’s no surprise that I love their lipstick too. This product is 100% natural and the featured ingredients are Beeswax, Moringa Oil, Raspberry Seed Oil, and Vitamin E.
The packaging is really neat too. The square tube is nice and heft with a cool beehive pattern that shows the color in the hive holes. I chose the Fuchsia Flood shade which is a bright pink.
The Burt’s Bees Lipstick comes in 18 shades and I want to try the Ruby Ripple next. This lipstick is nice and firm, yet it goes on very smoothly. The finish is a beautiful creme and my lips feel very moisturized without being sticky and the pigmentation is good.
The product claims 8-hour wear and while it was long-lasting I did reapply a few times during the day. I just can never get 8 hours out of a creme but I don’t mind reapplying.
