I received the Catrice Absolute Rose Eyeshadow Palette in my March 2017 Glossybox and it’s a great affordable palette with nice shades.
What’s to love?
While this isn’t a high end product it’s a decent palette if you want to create a look based on these rose and purple shades.
I swatched the shades from left to right…
- Dark Purple – Shimmer
- Deep Lilac – Matte
- Medium Lilac – Shimmer
- Rose Lilac – Shimmer
- Rose – Shimmer
- Light Rose – Matte
These are not the official names of the shades, I just went by the color. The 2 center shades are very similar too.
I do like how the colors blend and I was able to create a nice smoky rose look using this palette. The shades have a light to medium pigmentation and they have decent lasting power.
The plastic case is durable and you get a dual foam/brush applicator.
Overall if you like the colors I think Catrice is a good brand. Catrice was founded Christina Oster-Daum in 2004 in Germany and they are cruelty free. They started selling in the USA in 2014.
Retail Price: $6.99

I have Catrice Chocolate Nudes palette and it is pretty good. They are not amazing quality, but for the price palette is pretty good. xx
I agree, they are nice for the price : )
This sounds like a nice product, great post💗
This looks pretty, not super pigmented but definitely workable

I’m not a big fan of their palettes. For some reason their single shadows are much better performing albeit not long lasting. You got it right. Decent palette. Do you have Catrice at the drugstores where you’re from?
