I love the GlamGlow firming mud. It give my face a nice smooth tight look and the collectors edition colors just make it more fun.

This looks like so much fun!

GlamGlow Supercleanse Daily Clearing Cleanser Review

The GlamGlow Supercleanse Daily Clearing Cleanser is a favorite of mine in the shower. One of the ingredients is  Kaolin, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil and I love how it smells!

What’s to love?

I am a huge fan of GlamGlow and this mud to foam cleanser that does so well in removing my make-up in the shower. The product comes out of the container as a mud but then lathers into a nice face wash. It’s not super bubbly but the peppermint smell is amazing!

It also has (Licorice) Root Extract and Globulus Leaf Powder which are supposed to help with clearing skin. I have to say that this product does keep my skin in good condition. It is a little pricey at $29.00 but I get about 8 months out of each bottle. A tiny bit goes a long way.

I also have used (and love) the GlamGlow YouthCleanse but I think my skin prefers Supercleanse a bit better.

GLAMGLOW Gravitymud Firming Treatment Sonic Blue Collectible Edition Review

The GLAMGLOW Gravitymud Firming Treatment Sonic Blue Collectible Edition is the most expensive face mask I’ve ever used but well worth it and if I ever win the lottery I’m buying about 50 of these.

I bought this tube of Sonic Blue Gravitymud at Sephora for $22 for 0.05 oz. (yes, I am crazy) and without another income source I’m definitely not buying another one. However aside from the price I love the product.

What’s to love?

I’ve been a fan of GlamGlow for about a year now and relish in getting their masks in my beauty boxes because I really do love their products.

The Gravitymud in Sonic Blue is that same as the silver Gravitymud only it’s blue. I’ve used the silver variety too.

Gravitymud in Sonic Blue is a peel off mask (which I love) and it goes on smoothly and I leave the metallic blue (it’s really blue) mask on for 30 minutes then peel it off. It’s actually easier to peel if you apply a thicker coat but then you have to use more product. I wipe they reside off with a wet make-up remover or just wash it off with cleanser and water.

I get no burning or redness from the Gravitymud masks and this one left my face smooth and tight. I’d love to use it twice a week as recommended however the $22 tube give me 2 uses so that would be about $88/month for treatments. Whoa!

I also love how GlamGlow smells. All of their masks have a unique scent and that smells amazing to me.

Overall I’m thrilled with this mask I just don’t love the price.

GlamGlow GLOWSTARTER Mega Illuminating Moisturizer Review

I received a sample tube of the GlamGlow GLOWSTARTER Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in my March 2017 Sephora Play Box. I’m always thrilled to get GlamGlow samples because it is so pricey.

What’s to love?

This is a newer product from GlamGlow that’s a “hydrating, super-charged cream with iridescent illuminating pearl particles to blur, reflect, and enhance your complexion for an instant luminous finish.” It comes in 3 shades including Pearl Glow, Nude Glow and Sun Glow. I have the Sun Glow.

First up I love the scent of this product. It smells like the Volcasmic Matte Glow Moisturizer which is an orange Creamsicle scent.

The product itself is pretty thin, I’d say it’s thinner than the BECCA Backlight Priming Filter however it does apply evenly. It absorbed into my skin very quickly and I feel like it’s an amazing moisturizer. It does have “vitamins, botanicals, hyaluronic acid, and TEAOXI™ golden root technology that instantly floods skin with hydration“.

At first I wasn’t sure I liked this product but it’s really growing on me. I was expecting more shimmer but it really works as a skin moisturizer and brightener for me which I love. I cover my entire face before applying my make-up.

My only issue with GlamGlow is the price. It’s $49 for 1.7 oz/ 50 mL which is out of my price point for a product like this.

So while I do think this is a quality product it’s not something I’d buy right now.

Check out what else I got in my March 2017 Sephora Play Box!

GlamGlow YouthMud Tinglexfoliate Treatment Review

This is the GlamGlow sample that I got in my November Birchbox. I got the GlamGlow YouthMud Tinglexfoliate Treatment which is for anti-aging and if I could afford it I’d buy a boat load of this stuff!

1.jpg

What’s to love?

I’ve used the blue, green and orange tubes of GlamGlow but I think this Tinglexfoliate Treatment and the peel off mask are my favorites. I also use the GlamGlow YouthCleanse on a regular basis.

This mask is not for the weak of skin though. It does tingle and burn upon application but as it dries the burning sensation starts to diminish.

The mask is a clay style with Camellia Sinensis Leaf in the mix. It is hard to keep those little leaves on your face though! The mask also has pumice to make it rough and Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract for cooling.

I leave this mask on for 10 minutes and remove with a warm wash cloth. Afterwards my face feels tight, smooth and clean. I really do think it makes me look younger and I’m I might just get this one on the GlamGlow website today as they have the BOGO sale going on.

GlamGlow FlashMud Brightening Treatment Review

I’ve used the GlamGlow FlashMud Brightening Treatment about 3 times now and it does wonders for my face. I am so in love with the entire GlamGlow line.

gg

What’s to love?

The FlashMud Brightening is a gritty white paste with little leafy bits and pieces. I rub the mask in with a circular motion then let it set for 20 minutes. It feels amazing on my face with no burning or irritation and the smell is light and fresh.

I wiped it off after 20 minutes and my face was a bit red but that subsided in a few minutes. I do feel like my face is a lot brighter after the treatment. Keep in mind that I am 46 and have some discoloration and uneveness in my skin. Afterwards I did a 3 minute make-over using Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in ZZ, Clinique CC Cream, Clinique Cheek Pop in Berry Pop and Kat Von D’s  Shade + Light Contour Quad in Rust.

The instructions say to use 2-3 days in a row then 2-3x per week. I need to invest in a larger jar to get that much use. Unfortunately GlamGlow is pricey and I try to wait for a sale to get my favorites or I buy a sample pack.

GlamGlow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment Review

First I have to say that GlamGlow is one of my favorite mask products of all time and the ThirstyMud Hydrating Mask is now on my favorites list too. Unfortunately GlamGlow is pricey so my recommendation is to start a GlamGlow budget or try to get a kit where you can try multiple products. I got this one as part of a Sephora mask kit.

gg

What’s to love?

The ThirstyMud Hydrating Mask is a bit different from the other masks I’ve tried but I love it. ThirstyMud is a very light weight and smells amazing. Very fresh. The color is a light shimmery cream and it goes on super smooth.

Unlike say the the SuperCleanse Mask which drys like clay, this one is super smooth and does not dry on your face. This moisturizing mask made my face feel amazing. I kept it on for about 10 minutes and then wiped it off with a warm wet wash clothe. I sweat this mask makes my skin glow. I had too much sun this week and it really helped with moisturizing.

This is definitely one of my new favorite masks.

GlamGlow YouthCleanse Review

I got on the GlamGlow bandwagon about a month ago and have been testing out various sample masks and I’m impressed. GlamGlow is a fairly new company with a neat story. I like reading about the people who make my beauty products and Glenn & Shannon have a great story.

So after my sample attack I decided to order the YouthCleanse Exfoliating Starter Kit from GlamGlow for $39.00. The kit comes with a full size cleanser and 2 15g masks.

The product came super quickly and the packaging was awesome. Lots of black tissue paper to protect it.

Here’s the YouthCleanse product that you get.

What’s to love?

The first thing I noticed was the packaging. You get this giant black and silver cardboard cylinder that holds the cleanser. When you take the top off you are greeted with the “Hello Sexy” logo and a cool spiral paper that wraps around the product (not pictured). This paper give you the low down on what the YouthCleanse does.

I also loved the pump itself. This hefty container feels solid. You get the product out by pumping a few times. I found it super easy to operate.

The cleansing mud is a light brown smooth cream with some grit. I love the smell, it’s light and fresh and just a bit earthy. When I added warm water I got a nice low-bubble cream which I washed my face with. It felt great and rinsed off clean. The bottle says it’s a mud-to-foam cleanser but I can’t really say it felt like foam to me.

Afterwards I did feel like my skin was tighter and felt great. I love a cleanser that makes my skin feel super clean and dry and this one delivered. However if you already have super dry skin you might need to moisturize afterwards. My skin is really oily so I just use a light moisture cream at night.

gg

Overall I’m really impressed with this cleanser. I’ve been using it for a week now and feel like my skin is greatly improved. I like keeping this bottle in the shower so that I can wash my face in the evening when I do shower. I’m excited to try more GlamGlow products too.
