The LORAC Beauty and the Beast collection is amazing!

As if the LORAC Pirates of the Caribbean wasn’t amazing enough LORAC has topped it with the Beauty and the Beast collection which I really, really want. I saw this collection today at Kohl’s and snapped a few pics.

The collection consists of…

  • Disney Beauty and the Beast PRO Eye Shadow Palette $48.00
  • Disney Beauty and the Beast Cheek Collection $28,00
  • Disney Beauty and the Beast Lip Collection $36.00

I love that the Eye Shadow Palette has a nice selection of romantic shades like pink and the shade names are so Disney too!

Shades:

  • Dream It
  • Time Keeper
  • Our Guest
  • Impress
  • Beast Mode
  • Enchanting
  • Swept Up
  • Look Beyond
  • My Castle
  • Chip In
  • Romance
  • Spell Breaker
  • Inner Beauty
  • Tea Time
  • Tick Tock
  • Real You

I also love that the lip collection is only $36 for 5 shades which I feel is a much better deal than the Pirate of the Caribbean lip duos which were $26 each.

So I am definitely budgeting for the PRO Eye Shadow Palette or waiting for it to go on sale. I am really loving this collection!

LORAC Pirates of the Caribbean Palette Cheek Palette & Lip Duo Review

I got a nice surprise today! My husband got me an Ulta Gift Card for our anniversary so I picked up the LORAC Pirates of the Caribbean Palette Cheek Palette. I am still on the fence about the eye palette.

What’s to love?

The packaging on this one is so pretty with a black box and gold skull. The actual palette is a heavy black cardboard that opens like a book. The palette come with a nice mirror.

The shades are a combo of matte and shimmer and they are so pretty. The color are amazing and very high quality. They are paraben free and infused with anti-aging antioxidants such as pomegranate, acai, and vitamins A, C, and E

Shades:

  • Star Reader (gold opal shimmer)
  • Destined (light peach shimmer)
  • Fortune (soft pearl shimmer)
  • Bold Spirit (cool pink shimmer)
  • Caribbean (dusty rose)
  • Lost Soul (light beige)

Overall I am thrilled with this cheek palette.

Price: $30

LORAC Pirates Of The Caribbean Lip Duo

I also swatched the Lipstick from theLipstick/Lip Gloss Duos which are very pretty, creamy and pigmented but I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend $26 for one because I don’t wear a lot of lip gloss. The duel ended tube is really neat though.

I  picked up a few more things from Ulta so I decided to do a small Ulta Haul video!

LORAC Pirates of the Caribbean Palette Is In Stores Now! First Impression.

The LORAC Pirates of the Caribbean Palette is now at Ulta and Kohl’s! I actually stopped by Kohl’s today for something else and was surprised to see it there. Kohl’s only had the palette and not the lipstick or blush but there was a spot on the display for those products so they may be getting them in. I am also wondering if you can use your Kohl’s percent discount on this palette, that might sway me to pick this one up.

UPDATE: I just picked up the Cheek Palette at Ulta…here’s my review… LORAC Pirates of the Caribbean Palette Cheek Palette & Lip Duo Review.

While I didn’t buy Pirates of the Caribbean today I did play around with the display.  The packaging is beautiful with a black, gold and starry theme. The shades are pretty and pigmented but I felt like there were too many neutrals and nudes for me to spend the $52.

I have a lot of these shades already and I was kind of disappointed that there were no purple shades. I mean don’t pirates where purple! I also would have like to see a brilliant gold. The shades I loved the most were: Starry Night, Treasure and Menace.

Overall I love the branding and the packaging and I might just pick it up if it goes on sale because I love Pirates of the Caribbean.

Here’s what you get in the palette.

Row 1:

LORAC Is Coming Out With A Pirates of the Caribbean Collection!

I am a huge fan of movie/beauty collections and up until now the Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass Palette has been one of my favorites. However LORAC just announced a new Pirates of the Caribbean collection based on the new movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and I’m sure it’s going to be a “must have” for me.

I am a huge fan of Johnny Depp and the Pirates of the Caribbean series and I can just imagine what colors this collection might contain. I’m thinking golds, greens, purples and reds. Oh and I really hope there is a dark red lipstick in that box.

The collection is called Treasure in the Stars and according to Popsugar it’s going to hit the stores (including Ulta) around Memorial Day weekend.

LORAC posted a picture on Instagram and I really am giddy for this treasure chest to come out. Now if they’d just make a Harry Potter palette!

Here’s the trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
